Call Scottrade & ask them why they are restricting, see if they tell you its because of a pending merger or not. No "End of Game"

I just called Scottrade and they said that there are over 200 stocks on the list of restricted trading. He said if you call in and place your order, they will give you the internet rate if you tell them it has been restricted.

He stated they restricted it because of suspicious trading, when I asked him to specify "suspicious" he said he didn't know but over 200 stocks are not trading because of the same thing.

Because of a merger? I don't think so.
END GAME.

Scottrade always uses that same excuse Cassity. It's like a 'Generic Answer'.
They just slapped that restriction on when VFIN moved up on the bid. They're playing games.
There really isn't a good excuse for the restriction other than manipulating it.
By putting on the restriction, they caused many to wonder why, think something's up, get nervous and sell.
Next, they scoop up the shares, and like magic, restrictions off and no one ever knows why or questions it.

you might post some funny comments once in a while you might even be a nice guy ,who knows, weŽll never find out because most you spit out in this board is just trash....at best! but your credibility is definitely ZERO when you smell blood somewhere you come out and play big boy, like your comment above...but actually you made an idiot of yourself! i mean it was funny, really, but donŽt you learn with experience? what about being productive for a change and come up with a good stock pick? and i mean a new one FRPT and DKAM were not your picks in the first place...
