Agreed. HISC is a very good longterm hold, even though it's currently a pinkie, it has a bright future IMO. I have swung alot of shares of HISC, but I also still hold a large position that I hold long. GLTA!!

Homeland to Issue Stock Dividend to All Shareholders of Record
ASHEVILLE, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 13, 2006 -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Other OTC:HISC.PK - News) announces that it has consummated the acquisition of a NASDAQ Bulletin Board company. The new NASDAQ Bulletin Board Company will acquire certain Homeland assets in exchange for stock, which will be issued as a dividend to HISC shareholders. We get 1 free share for every 50 shares we own of HISC as a dividend that starts out as .50 a share!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, we get to keep our HISC shares to be valued at where ever the market takes us. I like the news!!!!!!

I would expect to see this dramatically change just prior to the opening bell. Bank on that gap being big and the run being strong as many MM's had this stock shorted. Now they will have to scramble.

I just purchased an additional 100k shares yesterday, does that mean that 100k qualifies for the dividends and what happens to our HISC shares after all is completed? This does sound kike good news though!

It could be when they originally made the announcement in Feb - so all shareholders from that point will get dividends it seems... I have 86k from the last year and 100k more yesterday... either way, HISC should definitely move UP!!

How is this not good news lol. You get to keep your HISC shares as they continue to sell Cybertracker and you get free shares of the new company that will trade on the Nasdaq at 50 cents a share. It looks like the MM's are still shorting the crap out of the stock. Looks like I will be taking my profits today and then re-evaluate the whole merger deal. I read on another board that the MM's have something like 291 million shares shorted. How that is known you got me but I found that interesting.

Well guys, I moved out at .07 unfortunately as the MM's shorting the stock is just too strong. I am now looking to HMSC as my long and strong Homeland Security Company. GLTA!

I got out for now as well....don't understand this! am I miss understanding this news? It sounds like we would be getting a dividend in the new company and still keep our HISC shares? Or is it more of a 1-50 reverse split? and you only have the new company shares???? I don't know! PR is to vague for me!
Somebody please clarify if you understand better!!! What am I missing??

hmmm, that could be.. I hope not but maybe they are rewording a reverse split? If that is so, this bites! SOMEBODY CLARIFY THIS PLEASE!

The PR was a bit too ambiguous for me as well. They left themselves open to different interpretations. I sold out some swing positions at .07 as well, but might add new swing positions if I can get them at .05 or below. GLTA!!
