I bailed, Couldn't take it. Interestingly my sell oreder executed immediatly, didn't even take 30 seconds for someone to scarf up my shares. Now I need to find something to put my money in and try to recover my losses.

This stock is not going to move above 0.0005 (maybe an ask of 0.0006 and a few sales) but there is no way (IMO) this thing is going anywhere. Get in if you want the restricted stock, but make sure you do your DD on APOA. Right now, that company is headed straight for the crapper and people that have high hopes of getting out after 2 years (and it will be two years) with a profit need to take a hard look and see if the risk is worth it. Just look at their balance sheet. HUGE amounts of debt. Scary, IMO. Be careful. GLTA

I just read through the SEC filing for this merger under APOA - The only miracle I can see happening is if they get an exemption for shares NOT to be restricted. If they get this exemption, and PR it - This stock should explode, IMFO. Until then, I remain a depressed MoFo.

DK - you're forgetting this portion - this is our miracle.
The Merger Agreement contains certain conditions precedent to consummation of the merger, including but not limited to, obtaining consents, providing certified lists of shareholders and delivery of certain due diligence and other corporate documents.

Call me ignorant, but I don't know what and/or why the above is our miracle. Is that saying if certain conditions are not met, this merger will not become reality?

That says that prior to the merger taking place, all outstanding shares must be accounted for from the brokerages.... therefore, brokerages will need to reconcile their long (and short) positions with DTC, and DTC will report to the transfer agent of JPHC that all shares are accounted for and who owns them (not you and me, but the brokerages since shares are held in street name). If there is a discrepency, they will need to reconcile IMMEDIATELY. How do they do that??? Well, for example, let's say Etrade has 10 mil. shares long according to DTC, but has a short position of 50 mil. shares. Well, while individual investors are allowed to naked short, they can only do this if the brokerages have the shares in house. I used to work for Ameritrade so I know how this works. Back in the dot.com days, investors would call us screaming that they couldn't short a $50 IPO stock (apparently assuming correctly that a lot of those stocks were just up huge on hype). Even though the stock was MARGINABLE, it was not shortable. Why? Because at the time, the brokerage did not have enough shares to short (probably because other shorters already shorted the amount of long positions before this guy).
So, back to my example. If Etrade realizes it has a discrepency of 40 million shares, they will IMMEDIATELY begin buying back shares in customers accounts (kind of like a reverse margin call). They may give the customers 3 days, but if the customer does not cover, Etrade will. And in case you're wondering which customers they choose, technically it's on a random basis.
They will cover those short positions until they have an equilibrium of short positions and long positions.
So, if there truly is a huge short position here, that is how the short squeeze will work. Investors/MM's/Brokerages covering their short positions to get to that equilibrium. JPHC will not authorize the merger until that equilibrium is achieved.
In an ideal world, if every JPHC stockholder pulled their shares from the brokerages (and thereby removed the shares from street name and instead had the share put into your name), there could be no short positions whatsoever. That's what CMKX shareholders were/are? trying to do.
So, pray for a huge short position, and we are golden.
