I need to go back and read some of my posts. I believe I've already posted about the games the MM's would play. Enough said there. I could be wrong but I also believe I posted that any potential merger/acquistion takes a bit of time and doesn't always happen as quickly as we might like. As someone else stated we are in the middle of SEC filings getting updated which IMHO is part of the final processes before a merger/acquisition. I expect to see a few filings this week and the problem with financial filings is that people view them differently.

I expect to see some progress from where the last reporting was but don't expect to see that the company is profitable at this time. None of this makes a lot of difference at this point. Keep in mind that we are talking merger/acquisition. Usually in these cases it has as much to do with potential and compatability with the acquirer/merger as with anything else.

Make your own decisions as to the strategy you will use in trading/investing in this stock. Some will flip and play into the hands of the MM's but that's natural some will sell on the way up to hedge against losses and some will hold thinking they hit the mother lode. Whichever way you trade this make sure you have done your own DD so that you won't try to blame anyone else for pulling the trigger too soon or holding too long.

I did look at NDOL several days ago (when I didn't have any funds), but it's had a really nice run already and I'm afraid I'm too late for it.

Losing money is easy and those guys won't give it back.

There are different trading strategies.

1. Only play the stocks currently running. If you watch the boards and get in early on a combination of news and technicals and chatter you can do ok.

2. You can try to pick stocks you believe within 3 months of running. Hoping to buy close to the bottom. Hold them til their time comes.

The losses I have are on both types, you get in too late on a running stock and it pulls back. The biggest disappointments were stocks I played 3 months out. They started dipping and I sold at a loss, right afterwards they soared.

Not long ago I figured what I would have made if I had held through the dip for a big win and it was over 500K.

Do your DD and find a stock you believe in and stick by it. Don't fall in love with it, because new info can reveal a lot of negatives. If you still believe in it keep it til it has its day.

Dips enable MMs to pickup shares again and sell them back to you at a higher price if and when it goes back up. On a run pullbacks are normal, enough people freak out on dips and sell for losses that it enables them to keep playing their games without putting in another quarter.

People line up and throw money at them.

Knowing when to get in and get out entails several details you'll find in your research and your own gut feel from experience. Having the patience, is sometimes taught to you the hard way from losing by playing the game too quickly. Plenty of stocks can pull back 2-3% on a monday morning after 2 or 3 sells. 5 minutes or so hardly determines the outcome of a stock. Some others like GZFX at some points in their trading cycles go up and down 10% each day, making excellent swings for some people and making some people who try to PLAY it get beaten.

Buy high sell low will beat you up, learn to fight back. [Wink]

this is a good post.
I had to sell RSHN , jphc as neither was in the "moving mode"
I need a quick and sure gain.
Now. Not tomorrow = next month.
NDOL is that quick gain/very low risk factor for me at this moment. Its my safest bet for a quick doubling+.
VRDM looks to be in a hold pattern, as does RSHN..

With that gain I can then add chips to my pile and take on a few more possibilities.

I know how you feel about getting out at the wrong time Johnny. WMB, ELN, MSSN(went private)and USXP all ran like there asses were on fire after I got out. I still get shook out from time to time but I have learned one important thing. Its not a loss unless you sell below where you bought it. Just because it shows you have xx amount of dollars worth of a stock doesnt mean much until that amount is in dollars in your cash account. That is a hard thing to learn when you are trading. Have a great evening. TMAN...

prolly getting into IPO of Complete Production Services is not a bad idea either. sure 20%+, can go upto 75-100%+ if you play the day trading right.. revenue increase of 1110%, 100%+ increase in profit margin and energy stock definitely play in its favour. freeing some funds for a day should not be that difficult!

If we all knew what were sure gainers tomorow, every trading day, we wouldn't be here unless we were all patting each other on the back about how filthy rich we are.

The only sure thing in pennies, is you are going to pay commission fees on trading. If you want steady gainers, you need to get back to the big boards, not pinks and OTC stocks. If you want huge gains, you have to hunt down your prey, and WAIT.

If I was making 50-500% every single day on pennies because I could pick exploders, I'd be out goofing off enjoying that money. I'd be so rich that I'd probably be helping to upgrade portions of several third world countries like Bill and Melinda Gates.

Patience rules this game. People with the jitters are going to find their account doing the diarrhea cha cha.

I know because I learned the hard way, I already posted on that. In under 3 weeks I lost over 10 grand, getting out too soon on some and in too late on others. Those lost funds inspired some self-education. It all started by backing out from a stock with a late PR long promised, it came out 3 days after I sold my position which would have netted me around $14,000 profit (I would have been selling at just around 4% under its peak price of day). Allowing that frustration to effect me inspired bad decisions, voila.

Since you made such amazing gains on the big boards I dont know why you'd come here if its not working.

lol.. that's what I said about NDOL when it had run up to .15.
I told myself it had already ran and that now it was gonna fall back down.
Damn retrospect. Woulda been an easy triple.

Just wanted to throw that out there.
I'm not in NDOL, cuz ya never know when a stock's gonna run out of gas. But who knows, maybe it could turn out to be a dollar play soon.

I know what you mean edge. I've been watching several stocks over the last several days that I thought had already had their run, but then they ran again. I hate jumping in something that has already had a run, but some of these stocks right now just won't quit, especially oil stocks.

Well, I'm sure they'll quit as soon as I put my money in them. LOL

It must be me, but whenever I get into a stock, the thing alwasy tanks and idle's.

I think I must have the touch of death or something.

Here, I am thinking I got in on this at the bottom .0007 to have it playing with .0005 now?

*sigh* Sometimes, it's just not fair.
