just wondering if anyone has had any problem buying?
Like I said in post yesterday, Scottrade told me they still have restriction from online buying/selling cause they want to monitor who's buying and how much.

Chad, Why would they want to monitor who is buying/selling and how much? That is a very odd statement by a broker if true in itself. Sounds like either Big Brother or the Shorters have come to roost. Maybe Both!

not sure..i thought restriction was over, but as I bought Monday, he was like "hold on", then came back at said I can buy it, but it had been flagged by them and restricted from online buying. I asked why and thats what he told me.
I've been thinking brokerages have done this restriction thing cause of shorterings along with MM's. All trying accumulate and get people to sell. this seems to have been going on for like 3-4 weeks now.
So you'd think that this is due to run soon, but not sure how much? 100%, 200%, 300%??

huh Grail? do you mean buying online? I had no problem buying it over phone, but the broker did pause and did tell me about it being restricted from online buying/selling.
If its not anymore, great, if it is, that sucks.
Im just hoping all this accumilation past few weeks is close to over and it finally gets to run!!

Yup, online. I would never want to get hit with the high commission by phone. I just put in an order for it, no red warnings/restrictions. I even modified it again. None.

Seems that MM's are trading PAIM down incrementally abot each day. Has anyone heard anything from IR at PAIM about the status of the Buyback? I have sent an e-mail inquiry about this two days ago and have not yet gotten any reply. Will advise when I hear something.

T.Y. to ya'll Soul_beyond.....lat PR I've seen on buyback is the August 11 news release about it being 90% completed. PAIM needs to do a follow-up PR to announce the completion of the buyback if it is in fact done. I'm still awaiting a reponse to my query and will try again if nothing heard by tomorrow AM.
