Received following e-mail from Gary Gotanco, PAIM IR this AM. It appeared to be a mailing to shareholders on PAIM's internal shareholder list. FWIW, it gives some more data (more questions than answers from my standpoint) about the Scottrade'S hold on buys.

I really am sorry, like all of you who logged on to Yahoo Messenger, I also wanted to be able to explain and set these things straight. I would appreciate if you could post this on the boards.
These "chill" rumors are just that-rumors. If indeed the DTCC has ordered a halt on trading of PAIM, our Transfer Agent should have already been informed. As of today, First Public has not been informed. I would like to request anyone who has a copy of this reported email from DTCC to please post a copy or send me one, to my email: gary.gotanco**********.
The float has indeed been increased, owing to the private placement, and non-inclusion of OBO numbers in the figure we got from DTCC last end-July. I will lay out the figures hopefully in our chat tomorrow evening at 9 pm, EST (venue to be emailed later).
If you have any questions regarding the European Exchange Registration of Pearl Asian.. please send all your questions and concerns in regards to this particular matter: by sending an e-mail to PAIM's European Investor Relations Officer: Mr. Herman Struck * eu.investors**********.
Once again, thank you for your help. To all of you who went on-line, I just talked to "Bojamble", there still are a good number of you chatting there, I really envy you guys, wish I could join you.
Let's keep the faith. A lot of powerful people out there sure are joining forces to try to keep us down, but with faith and God's help, we shall prevail.
Gooooooo PAAAAAAIIIIIIIMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! Best regards, Gary Gotanco

I had just a few questions for you, as the Ihub board seems to be filled with negativity right now. First off, is there any truth to the whole Scottrade/DTCC fiasco? Scottrade has been saying that a "Chill Order" was handed down to them from the DTCC. I first noticed this on Friday morning when I first logged onto my Scottrade account. As you know we have all been getting conflicting answers as to why this is happening. Hasher/Janice/Jim/TSX have all been on the boards today saying that this means that PAIM will be delisted or halted soon. It would have been really great if you were on the chat tonight to answer this question for us all.
The second thing that I wanted to know is if the float has been increased? According to you and your PR's, the float should be around 3 billion. Right now there seems to be concern because many are seeing the float as 5.6 billion. Which is the real number of the float? If the float has been increased, what is the true number of shares outstanding?
The third and last thing that I wanted to ask you was when PAIM is counting on being listed on the German/Frankfurt exchange? A lot of people out there have no idea what that means, or where they can find information about that. Please help me out, as I will try and pass this information along to other shareholders. Thanks Gary!

PAIM (.0014) Has Processed at Least 2 Metric Tons of Gold Ore, Producing Up to 2 Kg of Gold Concentrate; Negotiations for Long-Term Gold Supply Contracts to Prospective Gold Bullion Buyer(s) Under Way
Business Wire "US Press Releases "
MANILA, Philippines--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. (OTC: PAIM) reports: it has processed at least 2 Metric Tons of Gold Ore during the start-up of the Hammer Crusher/Gold Concentrating Equipment being run at substantially less than maximum capacity, as is industry practice during start-up operations, to have an initial indication of operating parameters and conditions. The gold concentrate, estimated to have a gold content of up to 1% by weight, pending results of fire assay to be conducted by external laboratories, is supposed to be tranferred to the gold refining unit in Cagayan de Oro City, pending the arrival within two weeks of the recently acquired REO 6x6 Truck from Manila to securely transport the gold concentrate. Before proceeding with the transfer, Pearl Asian is also coordinating with local security experts - former high-ranking military officers, to provide security detail and recommend ideal security arrangements in transporting the gold.
While the gold-processing operation is on-going, perimeter security at the gold plant has recently been strengthened. A perimeter fence made of heavy gauge cyclone wire is almost completed, currently being topped with barbed wire, and with provisions for connection to an electric power source. Along with a security detail composed of paramilitary men from the Higaonon Tribe guarding the 20-hectare small-scale mining claim, a private security firm has been engaged to secure the area within the High-Security Zones: the gold plant, offices/radio room, and living quarters. A surveillance camera shall also be installed at strategic areas within the year.
Mining and exploration activities continue unabated, to supply a buffer stock of gold ore for processing, with current stockpiles estimated at up to 570 metric tons of high-grade ore, and with new veins being discovered regularly. In the succeeding weeks, the gold plant will be run at increasing production rates until the maximum processing capacity of 18 metric tons gold ore per day will be test run.
In a related development, Pearl Asian is currently negotiating with international trading houses for long-term gold supply contracts, hoping to clinch total contracts of at least 10 metric tons of gold bullion over a period of up to 10 years. The first contract is expected to be closed within the year.
Engineer Elvis Hidalgo, EVP-Chief Metallurgist, stated, "...the gold processing equipment we purchased from China is performing better than we expected so far. With such a compact unit, and without using a ball mill, the particle sizes attained are ideal for processing in our gold refinery. The delivery of heavy equipment for the mining operations very soon will result in greater supply of gold ore, and it is envisioned that more gold processing units will be installed within the next few months to process the bigger stockpiles produced by the mining group."

ya, Scottrade wont allow buys now. They told me fishy trading. Odd then that other brokerages will buy. I think there full of it personally and are costing clients money, as well as this stock in general.
I think Im going to go with new broker very soon myself.
As for stock, it's supposed to have a big run coming soon, at least thats what I read few pages back.

So, they can gross $600 bucks a day... factor in cost of business and cost of goods sold and I figure they're only losing a couple grand a day... wow... I could make $600 a day selling used cars. PAIM has been a serious disappointment.
