I'm done trying to make any sense out of this. I hope it works out for you guys. Logic just doesn't allow me to wrap my head around anything but doom for this stock. My prediction is -0 pps with 0 volume, unless they do a massive R/S - which will be MANDATORY if they want to right the ship.

I think when he said $.50 he was slightly exagerating and he also meant that the dividend wont happen. I would be happy with .005

The March '1 to 1000' is technically a dividend right?

Are dividends paid out in stock (rather that cash dividends) exempt from taxes until sold?

If not, wouldn't there be tax implications?

For example:
1,000,000 ($100 worth today * .0001)
x 1000 (dividend * 1 to 1000)

1,000,000,000 shares total

900,000,000 ($90K dividend)

$90K would be great, but if you can't sell it because of dilution it could get ugly at tax time.

Someone tell me I'm wrong...I want to be wrong.

My PAIM position = 0 (but doing some DD before purchase)

Got to give PAIM CEO a sense of humor, calling himself E Pearl Asian. Good old Sandy is Corporate Secretary. I went to a mining site that covers phillipine mining companies and no mention of Pearl Asian Mining International. Buyer beware. There are legit mining companies doing business in the PI from the US, Canada and Australia. There is gold in the PI thats for sure. About 104,000 people are employed in mining.

E. Pearl Asian, the Founder/Chairman is a true visionary. Pearl Asian is the leading force behind Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. Her ambition and drive is helping to realize the potential of valuable mining properties that have been under-developed and under-utilized for decades. She is focused on providing a profitable return for investors, coupled with her humanitarian mission, to assist in providing sustainable jobs, the gift of education for the under-privileged children, healthcare benefits for the people and environmental protections of the communities. It is also her vision to make Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. as the Model for all mining companies in the Philippines; as the Pioneer to make use and leverage the involvement of the communities, the local and international NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organization), to participate in the development of the Philippines Mining Industries and to become as a One Team to help sustain the economic stability, community involvements and environmental protections of the Republic of the Philippines. In 2003, Pearl has taken a mom and pop mining operation in the Philippines to a fast growing multi-national gold mining company.

This Senior Management Team will meet on December 18, 2004 in the historical Island of Mactan, Cebu City, to discuss the Pearl Asian’s Business Strategy for 2005, as they move forward with the company’s mining operations as early as January, 2005 and to discuss issues on the USA SEC GAAP Reporting requirements and compliance.

Pearl Asian is well aware that mining operations are capital intensive and a very risky industry. However, because the Philippines is currently considered as the No. 2 in World’s Gold Reserves and No. 8 in Gold Productions, Pearl Asian-Philippines Corporation will continue on to bring its foreign investments through the Pearl Asian’s Oregon Corporation (PRMN) into this country, as 2005 will be the year of immediate explorations, developments and most of all productions that will mean great revenues for the company. Furthermore, due to the upward trend in gold prices, Pearl Asian considers this business strategy positive and potentially a profitable opportunity benefiting each shareholder of PRMN.

Quote from the Philippine Star Nov. 23, 2004: Secretary of the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) Cesar V. Purisima said, The Philippines is richly endowed with world-class mineral resources, both metallic and non-metallic. The country’s mineral resources are estimated to be worth $984.65 Billion USD, but will remain to be a just potential if not developed. But more than that, one great advantage of the Philippines’ Mining Sector has an almost 100 percent value-added which means that almost all of the elements of productions are sourced locally.

Forward-Looking Statements:

With the exception of historical information, this news release and accompanying information may includes forward-looking statements that involved a number of risks and uncertainties. Actual results could differ materially from those anticipated as a result of various factors. There are numerous factors that could contribute to such difference, therefore such projected events and anticipated results are not warranties or guaranties that such events will occur or that the Company will achieve such results.

Did you read any of the new PR that came out. PAIM sold that to MLON for 500mil shares. So that means PAIM owns a 500million stake in PYCT. PAIM has already clarified that PYCT has never owned any stake in PAIM, nor have there been any people working for PAIM that has or currently does work for PYCT. Old news.

okay so i wrote to paim and flat out asked by they would do the dividend that seemingly dilutes the stock into worthlessness and this is the response i just got

"Dear supersniper,

You will have both 1,000,000 common shares and 1,000,000,000 preferred shares.

The preferred and common shares are not exchangeable.

pearlasia"

So does this mean that the O/S will still be 30 billion and not 30 trillion? Will there be an O/S of 30 billion common and 30 trillion preferred? Since we cant just straight up buy preferred stock, who do we sell it to? back to the company? Can anyone help me clarify this whole preferred vs common stock thing?

Press Release Source: Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc.

Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. "Operation Gold Finger Team" Began Geological Exploration Studies of the XYZ Gold Mine Site
Monday February 27, 9:00 am ET

PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 27, 2006 -- Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. (Other OTC:PAIM.PK - News) announced today that the company hired the geological expertise of the renowned Mayon Geotech & Geo-Environment Services (MGGS), Inc. led by Engr. Gil J. Apuya. The MGGS Team performed exploration and evaluation of the XYZ Mine Site located in the town of Baleno, Island of Masbate, to further determine the Gold Silver Deposits as well as the full potential installation of the Gold Mineral Processing Plant.

On Dec. 16-28, 2004, the first members of the engineering group of the "Operation Gold Finger" Team were on the XYZ Mine Site to oversee the initial project's exploration operation conducted by MGGS. These exploration activities had covered a total of seventy-two (72) hectares that was conducted for a period of fourteen days including mobilization and demobilization. MGGS provided the technical report indicating projected ore reserves, inclusive of all the geological maps, sections, laboratory result analysis of samples and computation of projected ore reserves. MGGS also included in their report the recommended potential site for putting-up the Gold Mineral Processing Plant as well as the site for building infrastructures, road access towards the XYZ Mine Site, scheduled to be as early as the Summer of 2006.

Further activities included research work and collation of existing geological reports, acquisition of field supplies and materials, preparation of working maps and mobilization. The Gold Team coordinated with local officials and residents including recruitment of local residents as guides and laborers for trenching, test pitting, clearing, handling and transportation of samples and sampling. More detailed geological mapping of the area was reported on a 1:10,000 scale. The MGGS identified all outcrops, rock types, alterations and mineralization by megascopic identification. These activities included rock / ores sampling, exact plotting of encountered outcrops, mineralization and preparation of geological maps and sections. They cleared and channelled the samples from the old tunnels and dug pits. The trenching and test-pitting were delineated and traced the continuity of mineralization. The samples gathered were analyzed for Gold, Silver Copper, Lead, Zinc & the Platinum Group of Precious Metals (Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn, Pts.). All these collected information were interpreted. Two batches of samples of approximately 20 Kg of ores each batch, were sent to KNELSON Company of Langley, British Columbia, Canada and ELSA Metals Company of Geneva, Switzerland for further laboratory analysis. The laboratory assay results both by KNELSON & ELSA Metals were utilized for further confirmation of the previous preliminary assay reports and the local laboratory results from OSTREA LAB of the Philippines. This assay results gave the exact design for the gold concentrator plant & gold powder refinery, in which the plant design was based on the type and quality of these XYZ GOLD ORES. Additional activities besides the chemical laboratory analysis included Topographical Survey of the entire XYZ GOLD MINE SITE.

"I am excited to see that further explorations, developments and production activities are in progress as 2006 will be The Best Year ever for Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc., after 3 years of its founding and creation. I envision that the last quarter of 2006 will be the beginning of revenue generation months and profitable years ahead; thus benefiting all the existing and future shareholders of PAIM!" exclaimed E. Pearl Asian, Founder & Chairman of the Board.

you guys still dont understand what a DIVIDEND is do you? common shares and preferred shares are not exchangable! the O/S for common shares will be exactly the same after the dividend as it was before the dividend. What will likely happen is the preferred shares you will get will trade under a different symbol. Now yes those will be diluted and hard to sell.

Gold finger, yes it is corny but apparantly you've never experienced filipino culture. while i was there they were blowing their load because the beach boys were making an appearance in manila for the first time

Found this in a google search about Masbate Island.

"Thistle-unit Philippine Gold Plc. owns Filminera, which has the rights to gold deposits on the island of Masbate, 350 kilometers (220 miles) southeast of Manila. In the 15 years to 1994, the Masbate mine produced 80,000 ounces per annum, according to Thistle's 2001 annual report."
