Does anyone still think this hits a penny someday? or a half-penny short term? perhaps once the buyback is complete?
Im saying yes to both....penny is longterm though.
We're all hoping for that, and I think we'll notice the buyback completion when the MMs start to ramp it up. For now, I wonder that 10% left to buyback is taking a bit longer. And got to agree with the rest, eyebrows are raised with the huge orders being filled at bargain prices...

Dont we all mega, but seems like this is gonna be another "we'll wait next week," but suffice to say, its okay going sideways, better than down.

True, sideways is better than down. I have a feeling we'll see a PR with completion of buyback tomorrow. just my opinion.

Someone bought at .0018?! There were bids at about .0016 too. Something's up. Or maybe I'm just so bored with watching this go sideways...

Way too rusty to work a good translation, but appears that even foreign investors are a bit frustrated waiting for this to go. Well equipment is coming, until we get a PR that it is working well and we got some good quality gold. Guess more waiting but not too long...

Whats the deal with restrictions? I thought they were done, but I bought more today over phone and the guy at Scottrade said they were restricted still from online buying and it was red-flagged and they wanted to be able to monitor who buys and sells it and how much.
so maybe thats the reason it hasnt taken off yet, it's still under restrictions.
Im thinking brokers just want to keep it down to get cheap shares, then they'll lift it to let it go. sum*****es!

PAIM Signed a Joint Venture Agreement: Gold Project Sta. Barbara, Near Paracale, Camarines Norte; Total Estimated Ore Reserves of 318,400 Metric Tons: Visited by US Shareholder Business Editors / Mining Editors
MANILA, Philippines--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2006-- Pearl Asian Mining Industries, Inc. (OTC:PAIM) announced that it has recently signed and entered into a contract to finance the operations of a small scale mining group operating in the town of Jose Panganiban, Paracale, Camarines Norte, accessible by 7-hour drive south of Manila. It is named Project Sta. Barbara, after the name of a village, where the mine site is located.
The agreement stipulates that Pearl Asian shall finance pertinent mining and operating expenses of the small scale mining group composed of experienced and seasoned miners who have worked in the mines for more than 10 years. In return, Pearl Asian will have exclusive right to purchase the group's gold production. In addition to income from buying and selling gold, the net proceeds from the price of the gold purchased by the small scale mining group will be shared according to a predetermined sharing agreement, where Pearl Asian will receive a 5% share.
According to a study conducted by Geologist Orlando Consulta of Southeast Pacific Rim International Geological Services, Inc., the average grade of gold ores in the area is around 19 grams Au (gold) per metric ton of ore. Project Sta. Barbara contains an estimated total ore reserves of 318,400 metric tons, based on drilling tests done by the firm.
With this gold trading and financing operation in the Paracale Area, Pearl Asian Mining envisions an additional immediate revenue stream that will complement the revenues coming from Project Cagayan de Oro slated to start operations within this month.

Why does news always been showing paim as stock on the rise or midday alerts when paim just hangs there in the balance around .002? Shouldn't it go up whenever its getting so much press?
