Look. This board might have 200 posters on all stocks on a good day. This stock seems to average about 30 on a real heavy day. That might represent .01 percent of the traders involved in this stock.
OH...that's right...maybe 2% of the total traders might read posts here and of that 10% might be stupid enough to base their trading activity on those posts.
Don't be so naive to believe that what is posted on this or any other message board has the immense impact that some claim it does.

The Coalition For Luggage Security Comments On Revamping Airport Security Business Editors / Security Writers / Transportation Writers
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006-- The Coalition for Luggage Security today commented on an article published in "The Hill" newspaper by Representatives Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) taking issue with Congress' tendency to turnover the screening at airports to private industry companies. They claim that this would bring us back to the bad old days of pre-9/11 security.

Harvey Abelson, Coalition Director said, "The Coalition does not see any difference between today and the old days. In the old days The Federal Aviation Administration had created an environment which seemed to offer screeners low pay and very high turnover rate. Today we have the Transportation Security Administration providing the rules and the screening agents in a low morale environment with high turnover. The big difference is that rules are tighter, such as checking the length of a pair of scissors or confiscating nail clippers."
"The real problem is the method of security. We are using the same 'perimeter defense' that we used in the bad old days. What we need is a new way of looking at security (http://www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf). We need a security system that will help us reclaim our airports and provide travelers, airlines and the government with economic benefits. The Coalition is looking forward to participating in conversations with individual Congresspersons and playing a role in the debate on airport, airline and luggage security in the upcoming Commerce Committee hearings," concluded Richard A. Altomare, Founder and Chairman of the Coalition for Luggage Security and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB:USXP.)

I have no problem with "opposing views", as that's what makes a board like this a real source of useful information.
However, when you sit in here and clog the thread with nothing but insults and toilet humor it lowers the collective intelligence of the board.
I am not a "pumper" for this stock. I believe they have some real problems to address. But, your constant worthless chatter does nothing to help educate ANYONE of the present (and possible) future state of the company.
Let's raise the bar here and start some REAL, intelligent discussions. And just maybe we can discover some legitimate DD that can make everyone some real $$$$.

I guess that then we'll just dismiss the past PR's and 'opportunities' that RA has presented in the last 5 years and just start as of the first of Febuary.

I am in Europe and would like to inform you all that RYAN Air is charging for extra luggage now and also giving discounts for people travelling lighter than allowed... Just was on the news.. with any luck RA will spin this into some money for you guys!!!

If you are referring to the one you just posted.....I get the feeling that RA is in talks with the US government for future screening of luggage for domestic flights; which would generate more $revenue$ for USXP and it's subsidiraries.

This is one of the reasons I really like this company. Forward future thinking. I think in todays world this is the way of the future. Soon not just the rich will be traveling in this manner.

I don't want to instigate another conflict in this forum, particularly between Democrats & Republicans, but it seems to me that the Democrats are against this privatization of security screening, however, the Republicans - who control the House & Senate, are the ones I believe AR is currently talking to about this.
I wonder what Pres. Bush's opinion is on this topic.
Wow, this could get very interesting if this debate comes up between the politicians.

"I wonder how much extra money people will be willing to pay?"
I don't think they will have a choice - the US government would probably have this fee added on to the current "9-11" tax that we already pay for airline taxes.

reduced fares is a given especially if they do without luggage all together. The screening and their costs for all that would be gone
