"I've never been better!" he replies. "I have an 18 year old bride who is pregnant with my child! What do you think about that?"
The doctor considers this for a moment and then says: "Well, let me tell you a story:
I know a guy who is an avid hunter. He never misses a season. But one day, he is in a bit of a hurry and he accidentally grabs his umbrella instead of his gun. So, he walks in the woods near a creek and he spots a beaver in some brush in front of him. He raises up his umbrella, points it at the beaver and squeezes the handle. *BAM*, the beaver drops dead in front of him.
"That's impossible!", says the old man in disbelief.

hey penny trader im not doubting your opinion but im just curious as to how you know that nobody has been able to buy in at .0002?
please fill me in if you dont mind. alot of times i have bought at the bid and sold at the ask so i tend to think some may have been able to buy in at .0002. just my thinking i could very well be wrong but i think some may be getting filled at that price. i sure wish i had the funds to buy a chunk at these prices as you all know i am a diehard qbidiot who refuses to see any negatives with this company.
i am in for the long haul and i will wait as long as it takes till franky takes the rest of my cash or till i get a huge payout.
22 million long and strong.

Rich told me that that he is talking with lots of big institutional investors interested in QBID but their only major push-back is the uncertainty surrounding QTN ownership.
The audit should clear that up - and should show QTN is 100% owned by TMM and that we outside shareholders have a 47% equity claim to TMM through our QBID shares.
As for QBID advertisers, again: this is a premium PAY channel. Advertising is not intended to be the major revenue source. But Q's revenue model is, I suspect, a work in progress, and if Logo is seeing strong Fortune 500 'support' then that's a good sign that we can expect the same prospective revenue should we go that route if subscription audience size justifies it. --------------------------------------------- Posted by: zandant In reply to: ltesprit who wrote msg# 198599 Date:12/16/2005 8:49:16 PM Post #of 199324
"Rich told me that that he is talking with lots of big institutional investors..."
You may have misunderstood him. I believe what he probably said was that "there are lots of big institutionalized investors interested in QBID." That would make more sense to me. LOL. ------------------------------------------------ Posted by: ltesprit In reply to: zandant who wrote msg# 198659 Date:12/16/2005 10:16:32 PM Post #of 199324
No, I made sure of what Rich said. He assured me that he's been talking with 'many very large institutional investors and hedge funds that manage billions of dollars' and that he knows a lot of these folks from his years of experience in the industry. He also said he's been talking with investment banks' buy-side analysts. I chided him about Ludlow Capital and he admitted that they (that includes him) should have looked deeper into Ludlow before trumpeting their 'rating'. He also said in his defense that everyone makes mistakes. He clearly privately regrets the Ludlow episode.
Rich has been pretty straight-up and doesn't set off my b.s.-detector. QBID is his client but he's also a shareholder and does express his concerns where warranted.
I told him I couldn't see any big institutions or IB's touching QBID with a ten-foot-pole while corporate governance and management credibility remain such issues, but Rich insists that it's really just the ownership uncertainty that is most commonly voiced as a primary concern. We'll see.
Rich is definitely not a party to the Frank Olsen shenanigans, and if Q ever becomes a 'real company' then Rich is going to prove his worth. Until then there's a limit to how much value he can add for shareholders. There's only so much you can polish a turd. As soon as he has a gem on his hands I think he'll be invaluable.

Just a guess, but I think he was assumming since several of us are posting that we can't get .0002 filled (which would happen before .0001 gets filled) that no one has been filled at .0001

because it is rare if anyone is buying. if there where anyone one buying at .0002 you would be hearing about it in here.
no one keeps that a secret. I have not seen anyone that has been filled, several of my buddies have had standing orders for 2 months now to buy at .0002 and none of them have even received even a partial fill.
they will though once the bid drops down to .0001 and the ask goes to .0002.
there will be those that are more then willing to yell out that they bought there and tell us how bad of shape we are in as if we where not aware of where we are at.
I still remain positive on this stock. I like the fact that Frank is not saying anything.
i have learned that when he says he is doing something, then he is doing the opposite. now that we hear nothing and assume he is doing nothing, I feel that he is going to surprises us in the next few weeks, but probably not until the first 30 days of the new year. I would assume that Franks buddies are getting thier tax right off for this year, and after 30 days in the new year they will load up and ride this thing back up. talk about getting double bang for your buck.
now before anyone asks me to prove this, I can't!! it is purely speculation on my part.
dont bank on this situation coming true, but if you can afford to gamble a bit on this, then this could be a great play for the end of January.
only time will tell. I will be here to see it though.

Well, it isn't the Lesbian Lifestyles of the Northwestern Mountain Gopher Documentary, but it will have to do for now. I will just have to have faith that the news will get out somehow. Then, to da moon!

I have glanced through the document and I actually see it as a positive. One thing that comes through is that Frank has been actively trying to create and improve prospects for Q, that the stock deals he has been making seem reasonable (not billions and billions but scores or hundreds of millions for substantive services and goods). This lawsuit isn't for much - 3 million more or less in the end. Hell, we can sell another 10 billion shares and raise that!
Anyway, Frank is a wheeler and dealer and its time for him to step aside and let someone more professional grow the network - but I don't believe his intentions are bad or that he is planning some nefarious coup for total control of the network and squashing of the shareholders. And I think that his once mighty mojo is what has taken Q this far. But his mojo is gone.
I don't know why we are at .0003, but this isn't the reason. Sounds like it's time to move on from dealing with Firestone and take it internal like Frank has been doing.
Frank - step aside and name a protege to manage the day-to-day affairs. You can show up at the parties.
IMHO. Night.

I do want to say that the absolute worst is being ASSUMED here and there are many facts which are positive:
Frank stated in the CC that NY, San Diego etc. would be coming on board. That was about as big a shocker in a positive direction as the 44 billion was in a negative. But he did tell the truth - these cities have come on board. He also DID NOT have to fess up to the 44 billion. He could have easily circumvented that question with some gobbledy-gook. Why if his intention was to liquidate without shareholder knowledge would he give us a heads-up about it? So he told the truth about that.
He said the audit was completed.
He said QBID owns 100% of QTN - he owning 53% - other shareholders own 47%.
The release today again shows QBID as the trading symbol for QTN.
Anyway, I continue to believe that when a stock is being as contrary as this one it is largely shorts and hedge funds that are strong-arming it. I'm not selling here - but, honestly, I'm not adding here either. And that is what the shorts/hedgies want - to have all other potential buyers sitting on the hands and biting their nails in fear and not acting when opportunity is there.
Hedge and short interests have done an excellent job here in my opinion - they've created a situation (with a little help from Frank's lost credibility) where progress and revenues are absolutely discounted.
We need the audit, Frank. We need to know what we own.
I don't expect it anytime soon. I'm sticking my head in the sand and holding for long-term. My original investment is basically gone so what the hell - roll the dice.

On behalf of all the Qbidians here on Allstock.com, i think we should create a little jingle and send it off to Fank Olsen for a little Christmas card so he knows how much we are thinking of him and QTV this holiday season. Please feel free to add the lyrics of your choice...

nothing new on the lawsuits that i have seen Im keeping an eye open for that, but i would suspect that things are slowing down right now as we approach the hollidays. I would think that we are in the dark to the new year.
now your other question about Frank possibly getting a tax break is a very interestign one. I too would like to hear some input on this interesting question.

If there has been any new info on the lawsuit, would someone be so kind to enlighten me?
Also, are there any tax advantages for Frank in closing this year at .0002 or 3?
At this point, he has earned a lump in his stocking--coal of course.
