alphaone I don't disagree with the essence of your comments ... but may I ask why you felt the need to explain it to all of us?
If you are trying to share worthwhile information, I sincerely thank you ... but you haven't told us anything we don't already know. If you have been lurking for some time, as you say, may I ask if you own shares or expect to buy shares? If so, please share any DD you have, and we will share in return.
However, if you are trying to enlighten us, educate us, protect us or save our souls, you are wasting your time. We already have all the "do-gooders" we can afford right now, and we cannot hire a new one unless we lay off one of our regulars. But we'll keep your resume on file for reference if we should need someone with your skills and experience anytime in the future.

A true audit is done by an independant accounting firm and they will issue a letter stating what they found and any concerns they have. I don't know about an SEC certified audit since as far as I know they don't do audits. I think the term "Edgar" certified audit came up at one time and I wonder if that means the audit must pass certain guidlines to fit this category and QBID (from what I think davidjanus got from Frank) will not pass this threshhold. This does not mean that the audit is in anyway bogas (assuming it's being done by independant auditors, which I would assume at this time it is). Will institutional investors accept the audit and consider investing? I don't know. Probably has a lot to do with who the independent firm is and their findings.

DISH: I sent a copy of the reply letter that Dish has been sending to customers regarding the adding of QTN to their programming to someone at "Q". Carol Hinnant VP Affiliate Sales.
I will not post the reply (yet) but I was told that "if" Echostar (Dish) reveived 20 customer letters a day, the Dish management may speed things up.
I was "not told" that there is a contract in place but it would appear that there are talks taking place. So lets get that 20 letters out daily.

patiently waiting ...........i aggree with the above post as in franky might have something sneaky as a dual pr stating the audit #'s and a big carrier deal.who knows at this point i know alot of weak hands folded at this point and alot are pissed about qbid.the few and the fearless are either gonna make big money or lost their dreams.i would rather wait this one out as im already all in not gonna fold now hehe.

That part I bolded has pretty much been my thoughts all along. I fully believe he is stalling us intentionally due to trying to finish negotiations with someone. DISH is my guess, but thats all it is is a guess.
He wants this audit and PR to be the one that gains natonal attention and exposure in a big way and one that solidfys it all.
Even a horrible audit (hey its at least reporting) with a DISH contract signed would jump this puppy on tons of radars.

sid hartha... i like the point u made about frank releasing the audit with a big carriage deal... the way it sounded,,was that frank could have released the audit on monday because it was ready..so if he has to wait till friday,,then why wouldnt he have some other information to release along with that .. its a pretty good theory .it crossed my mind that maybe he had something big to release with the audit.. either that or he had something to hide..either way, tomorow will be an interesting day,,i hope we have some people on here who know how to read an audit because i dont. g-invest, and millertime,and anyone else who likes the financial stuff please make sure u are here after hours on friday . see ya guys tomorow.

The information that Sidhartha brought about TW taking Playboy off to put Q into their lineup is a very good point and makes me even more optimistic about the future of QTN.

I agree Sam. It actually makes me want to empty all the accounts and buy many more shares of QBID. Too bad I just can't trust Frank, I might miss out on a ton more money.

I can %95 confirm this. I have an accountant friend who indicated that a delay in a certification process would mean that all the necessary stakeholders had not signed.
I find it unlikely that Frank is having his kids and other "execs" sign it, but he might be, and he might be having Renee or whoever his financial person is running damage control so they can justify the parts that would hurt them.
Bit it is far easier to believe Frank is simply lying, so that is what I did, and why I sold. If an audit is released, I'll certainly cover it and may consider buying in again.

I love the financial stuff. If Frank actually released an audit, I'd cover both sides, good and bad, and talk about what I like and dislike and probably even cover it on a webpage that you could all read.
I find it more likely that either you are lying or Frank mistated it to you, however, David. I'll be here after hours on Friday, but I'm not going to be expecting anything. I doubt Frank told you the truth. Sorry, but that's just how I have to take it.

Sam I agree. Sid appears to know a good deal about the business world and has made some excellent points today. Most of us have formed our opinions on what we think or hope is true about Q, and most of us have put some bucks at risk based on this limited knowledge. I cannot believe that Time-Warner, Cox, etc. would form a relationship with Q unless they felt the risk was extremely low. Therefore, I believe they already know enough about Q's financials to consider their relationship with Q as an "investment" rather than a "gamble". I don't always like the way big business works, but they usually get what they pay for.

No, seriously.
He needs to have released it a year ago. It looks REALLY bad if it is complete and he sits on it for over a month. IMHO, this should have been published when it was done, and many have sold their positions because it was not released.
Since Frank is not buying back the shares (he released another 10billion into the authorized count) it looks as if you the shareholders are taking on the burden of everyone who has been selling.
