I appologize if I offended anyone... I meant no harm and actually like Frank. I have faith in Q and am as stressed as everyone else... It was said in jest.

Good morning fellow "Qbiddians" this day should prove to very interesting. Things must be a buzz in Frank's office. Richard must also be very busy as he is suppose to moderate the CC today.
Long, strong, holding.

MT thank you for all of your great efforts with the Questions to Q and all the L-2 stuff that you always share with us. Regarding a previous post of yours about rudeness. You don't even come close to that. Your a good man.
I get a kick out of the times when the MMs are doing something and you will post: They must know something. And I think. Is that possible. Do they actually have spies on the inside? Who knows.HAAHAAAAAA

I went through Newport once on the way to Joisey and New Yalk from N. Carolina, but I didn't stop. I used to like going to Myrtle beach in SC on weekends. Wasn't much going on at Ft Bragg. Gets boring beatin up green berets all the time.

QBID'n Yep. We might have to create a comprehensive list of acceptable words, phrases and comments so we don't get "banned".
Just kidding . . . but creating such a list might keep us busy while we wait for the CC. I remember George Carlin's "Seven Dirty Words" routine. Very funny.
For the record, this is a short summary of what the FCC thinks is acceptable for public broadcasting:
"In 1974, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed with the FCC's indecency judgment on Carlin's comedy monologue about seven words you can never say on TV (which he said repeatedly in a radio broadcast of the piece). These days, U2 frontman Bono can say the F-word during the 2003 Golden Globe Awards broadcast, and the FCC rules it as not obscene. It appears that the FCC doesn't have a list of banned words, and context is everything. Words can be objectionable depending on how they're used and intended. Bono's exclamation used the F-word as an adjective to describe his excitement. The FCC found his use to be "fleeting and isolated."
So I guess we can say almost anything as long as it is "fleeting and isolated." Whatever that means.

I would imagine the same goes for MT today as he too is preparing.

I hope as much energy is exerted on the share price of my stock as is being put forth on chasing down posters. A good example of fleeting and isolated.

DIG Yep. I have mixed emotions about Richard's recent posting frenzy.
1) I believe everyone should aggressively defend themselves when attacked, but I also believe that responding to verbal attacks is unwise and ineffective. 2) I believe the "bad guys" (dishonest posters) should be punished for their actions, but I also believe that responding to them only makes their "lies" more believable. 3) I believe he handled himself well and may have landed a few good "punches", but I also believe it was at best a fleeting victory. There are a lot more bad guys ready to take up the fight.
All in all, I have a higher regard for him now, because I like feisty people who "don't take no crap from nobody." And I won't fault him (and Q?) for what he did. But I think his time and talents should be used for better purposes . . . like running a really great CC for all of Q's loyal shareholders.

FOT I could not agree more. The valuation seems a bit ridiculous to me, but I guess with no figures to back it up what are ya gonna do.

holmes I understand your concerns. You believe we are giving Frank a preview of the questions prior to his "final exam". But I don't think this is the case. Others have already said it better than me, but this is what I believe about the CC:
1) Frank already "knows" most of the questions we all have, since we've been asking the same questions for months. Although he and Richard have answered many of our questions already, we still want a few more details and a bit more clarification to satisfy us. I want him to be ready to provide that extra information.
2) I also want him to decide in advance if he will provide information on some subjects. If we surprise him with a question, he might need time to consider the consequences of his answer. Advance questions give him that time before the CC.
3) We have to remember that we always want "complete and honest" answers, even if they aren't always what we want to hear. So, let's not reject an answer just because we don't like it. Sometimes "Frank's way" of doing things may be better than "our way".
4) I think giving Frank a list of core questions in advance enables him to provide us with more complete and hopefully more satisfying answers. We shouldn't expect Frank to know every minute detail about his business at all times. I would rather give him a chance to find an answer before the CC than to wait for him to "get back to us" after the CC. By the way, my memory ain't what it used to be, and I'm a bit younger than Frank. So let's give the guy a break if he flubs an answer.
5) Giving Frank a list of core questions gives us the chance to expand on those questions during the actual CC . . . assuming the CC format allows one-on-one questions. I think it did last time.
6) The better Frank sounds during the CC, the better it is for Q and the PPS. If I were his press agent, I would prep him so well that he'd qualify for sainthood (he gets my vote when the PPS goes above a nickel).
So, I appreciate your concerns, but I think giving him questions in advance will work out for the best, and is actually quite normal in similar situations.

I wouldn't say that exactly...
a number of the MM's on the bid have not changed their price in days! Once some additional sells come in, they will bail off as some of the other "Playing" MM's bail off! The thing that concerns me is that the ask is gaining MM's to further push it down!
