By the way. A quick google of that 800 number for the CC shows that may companies have used that number for large CC event. That leads me to believe that jennifer is on the money....seems like a trend with that one.

For those who miss the call, on other calls I have listened to you can usually dial that same number for a while (24 hrs?) and listen to a recording of the original call. I hope they are going to that on this one as well.

B/L: I think its a slang term. Not a real word. My guess is that it started with wanting some of the stuff that the Jones's have. An choo ain't got it, an choo wanna get it. I saw a show the other day, can't remember which and they were talking about these jones people that are directly related to the beginning of the expression, "keeping up with the Jones's. The slant i used on it is a derivative of that. Commonly used in the way that cobra mentioned. Its the prelude to, "don't bogart that bleep."

The root is a proper noun: for a reason I cannot fathom, Jones—a family name held in my estimation by nearly 18 million Americans—was applied in the early 1960's to heroin addiction. J.E. Lighter's Historical Dictionary of American Slang speculates about another possible origin: the male sex organ. In the 1970's, the noun—no longer capitalized—most often referred to withdrawal symptoms, and made the transition to verb: jonesing out. In 1984, I noted that jonesin' was extended to mean ''doin' nothin','' as addicts often do, but it was not until this millennium that the participle made the leap into popular speech as a generalized ''craving.''

There is an operator who takes and lines up your questions. Once they call on you, your line is opened up to ask the question. This makes it so it's not a free for all and there is some structure to the call.
