Pen -- an immediae gap up would defniately be a positive sign for this stock at least holding its own for the next session. I think THAT is the best sign we can hope for -- showing the ability to continue holds. That makes the charts look really nice when the big PRs start a-comin'

eithe gap up or upgap is usually meant to show the difference in a stock's price in after hours trading -- i.e. the difference between the official "close" price at the end of the last session and the official "open" at the beginning of the current session. In Pinks, that don't trade after hours, it is kind of a mutation. Supposedly, the demand that would normally express itself in after hours trading gets spent in the first few minutes of regular session. Thus, in the Pinks, a wuick run upward in price right after open indicates people have been looking at the issue positively since the last close, and demand has built up

Actually it is, here it is again for you to check in the HTML source: -

Since I protect a network on a regular basis from script kiddies and full-blown hackers, and come up with IE exploits on a regular basis, I know what I'm talking about. Would you like to see more of what I can do? I'll PM you a link that will scare the *h*t out of you, and then you'll either never post again, or you won't care, because individuals like myself get this kind of info on a daily basis. Any good webmaster would.

Note: the intelligent person can find my IP by simply looking at my profile......it's a mystery I tell ya....a mystery....
Uhh.. No. Only an admin can do that on Ultimate BB. If the admin of this forum was really cool, these would be on IPB instead of UBB. But asi es la vida.

You'll note that no where in here do I question that you are a network engineer. You have absolutely no idea how funny it is to see you try to tell me I don't work in IT as a network administrator when I'm working at this very moment. I'll get back on at the end of the day or noonish. Good luck guys, hope we see some green.

Time Warner

Reports: Icahn wants Time Warner asset sale
NEW YORK (AP) — Carl Icahn, a high-profile investor known for agitating for change at companies, is trying to put together a group of shareholders to get Time Warner (TWX) to shed some of its assets, according to news reports Wednesday.
Icahn wants the media conglomerate to spin off a larger chunk of its cable division and possibly other businesses as a way to boost its stock price, The New York Times and Wall Street Journal reported. CNBC had a similar report Tuesday.

Icahn is known for taking a stake in companies and then pressing management to take measures to boost shareholder value. Earlier this year he dropped a bid to sit on board of Oklahoma energy company Kerr-McGee after the company agreed to sell its chemical business and spend $4 billion to repurchase 29% of its shares.

Rumors about Icahn's interest in Time Warner began circulating late last week.

Icahn's investment company disclosed in regulatory filings in February and May that it owns 0.1% of Time Warner stock. It's not clear whether he has been buying more, but given Time Warner's enormous market value of $86 billion, accumulating a significant piece of the company would be expensive.

Icahn did not immediately return calls Wednesday. Time Warner spokeswoman Mia Carbonnell declined to comment on Icahn's reported interest, but she said that Time Warners' management is "committed to and focused on driving shareholder value."

Time Warner's reputation among investors has improved dramatically in recent years following its disastrous merger with AOL in 2001, which led to a steep decline in its share price and a management purge. Last week Time Warner set aside $3 billion to settle lawsuits from shareholders who said they were misled by inflated revenue claims at AOL.

However, Time Warner's shares have struggled recently, along with those of other media conglomerates, as investors sour on companies that own sprawling arrays of media businesses. Viacom Inc. is hoping to boost its own sluggish share price with a plan to split itself in two.

Time Warner's shares fell 30 cents, or 1.6%, to $18.24 on the New York Stock Exchange, having risen as much as 4% the day before on reports of Icahn's interest. The stock is still down about 6% in the year to date.

this is what i want to see...besides a big pr,, i want to see a slight pullback on very low volume...this is a sign of a bullish stock...
has a big uptrend (Q last 3 days) then settles in and lowers a bit on low volume, than again will go for another multi day run once trading range is found...

remember AOOR a month ago....up up up..slight pullback low volume...up up up, slight pullback low volume

if you see Q going down on strong volume, than it is not good, this is expected and i believe the MM are with us on this current run

heres something interesting to keep in mind regarding the Q chart...

last couple days since its breakout, Q has been flirting with the upper bolli band and closely following it...if you see the upper part of the candlestick it has been nearly touching the upper bolli band all 3 days while the bolli band have been rising...just something to keep in mind

again, a pullback is expected from a like 75% gain from .0013, but just keep in mind, we want LOW volume on the pullback...
and yes it is very very low today!

BB, I know what you mean. I wish people would make up their mind if they want to be investers, bashers or hackers and go on to somewhere else to pursue their ambition, you know.
If I was still in Silicon valley I might retreive
the times, but since i'm in a small town (about 7000 pop.)in southeast Iowa at this time that will be difficult. That sounds great for you though. Being that is what you are looking for.
Yes do be serious. Pour yourself a Johnny Walker. I think its the red that I had once that was good for whiskey.

MillerTime, I remember when you first started posting in here you were asking questions about whether to own this stock or not. A reply that I made was to "choose on taste", I don't know if that ever helped, but I doubt it. LOL [Big Grin]

haahhaha, not bad digdough! thanks for apprecating my efforts i really do appreciate it...
although, i am still waiting on the first member of this board that trys out calling richard and tell me what they think!all this mumbo jumbo is just my experienced opinion, nothing else really, but when people begin to try out new ways of doing their DD, than, the Q shareholders as a whole will be moving foward

i first just started off daytrading Q (as that is what i do) and then through much DD i realized how much of a chance this stock creates for the investors...one of the best ways to tell is by what the bashers bash about...

other stocks its "your company is complete garbarge with no market and a rare chance to suceed."

with Q its "frankie is a liar, o/s is high, pumpers use multiple alias, gagged transfer agent"!!!

if we cannot find the common ground with those basher statements, than i dont know what to say...
