I just started with the message boards, and the first one I found was at http://quotes.freerealtime.com Some of the messages I found were about the SEC looking into Q. I believe in Q and I'm currently planning to buy more.
tiasdad Thank you for your reply. I hope you understand the reason for my original comments. Unfortunately, message boards are filled with "less-than-honest" people. The messages you found on that other message board might be true, partially true, or totally false. The messages might have been posted sincerely . . . or by someone trying to knock QBID's PPS lower.
Everyone who takes time to post on a message board has a "SELFISH REASON" for doing so. I own QBID stock and believe it is a good investment, and although I try not to pump the stock, I cannot hide my true feelings. Therefore, I post what I think are "honest" positives to help counter the "dishonest" negatives that often are posted here.
I don't object to "honest" negatives, although I really do not understand why some people always see "the glass half empty." If I believe a company will not make money for me, I simply move on to one that will . . . without whining (publicly) about the company's lack of performance.
Sorry for the long message. Again, welcome to the world of QBID.

tiasdad And you probably would be surprised at how few shares many of us own. The only requirement to post here is an interest in QBID. I wish we also could require "honesty, integrity and polite respect", but we take what we can get.

Thanks bottomliner! I do understand now. I've got a lot to learn, ut definitely do try to learn as I go. I'll be more careful in the future.

Interesting . . . maybe the PR wasn't as bad as some are saying . . . LOL.
If QBID closes up today . . . or even . . . there will be a lot of disappointed people. Can't make much money daytrading a stock that doesn't bounce much. But then, not everyone with QBID shares tries to daytrade them.

Drew, the difference between this and the Pridevision PR is that this one has a date. You can't release "fluff" with a date without incurring significant PPS loss. He wants the PPS up, so he will most likely close this before the end of July. That's a signal to buy, at least until July.

That is mostly how I got the 10mil I have now. So far JAN 05 to now, Q has been very good to me...
For now I am holding. I will keep that plan for now... If there is a reason to change, I'll change. Right now, I'm going to sit on my shares.
For me, I think I will make some money. But also, I think this whole thing is fun. Maybe I'm the only one who is having fun, but I really am having fun.

I bought this stock with the same criteria that I use for all investment--money making potential. Thinking that I was doing others a favor by sharing QBID info with them, I was surprised by some of their reactions--yes--I know, very naive thinking on my part.
Very nicely said . . . I think you speak for many (most?) of us. But then, there are the "others" who see us as lambs for the slaughter, so I offer this advice from a good friend:
"I only trust two people in this world . . . you and me. And I'm not too sure about you."

I don't sweat anything. I just simply reveiw what I own on a regular basis!
**Anything change?**
(1) Do they have a product or service?
(2) Is it a quality product or service?
(3) Is it a marketable product or service?
(4) Are there precedents, companies that provide the same kind of product or service?
(5) Do most if not all these companies trade for over a dollar a share?
(6) What differentiates my prospect from these other companies?
(7) Do they have a target demographic?
(8) Does that demographic have the means to support the product?
(9) Where does the commercial community stand, do Fortune 500 Companies want to reach the prospect's target demographic?
(10) Can the prospect deliver an effective avenue for the major corporations to reach this market?
(11) Do they have sponsors?
(12) What's the possible impact of their primary competition & will my prospect have the lead in the market?
(13) Does this prospect have management with a proven track record of not only running a company but actually bringing a company to market, making it successful & profiting from this endeavor.
And most importantly one personal question,,,
(14) Do I have the discipline, willingness & conviction to maintain a large core position.
they did launch and the pps is even lower than it was prior to the launch. they need carriers, launching doesnt matter if only a couple cities can view it.

correction, they need MORE carriers! and it does make a difference that they launched, prior to our launch posters filled the board commenting that a launch would NEVER happen, they were wrong! we are on the air albeit in only a few cities with a relatively small carrier but we are broadcasting everyday!. it is comming together slow but shure. we all wish the share price reflected reality but it does not (YET!). soon it will be our time and i for one am willing to wait!.... Take apart the PR for a minute and everyone think about it:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - May 20, 2005 - Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that they are in negotiations to purchase a production studio in the greater Los Angeles area.
Added benefits for the Pride deal? Very good possibility.
The studio currently has production contracts which Q Television will inherit once the deal is finalized. Q Television hopes to take possession of the studio by June 1, 2005 and have a final closing no later than July 1, 2005.
Contracts = Revenue. This is what the bashers say Q does not have. This is a very good sign.
"With the revenue currently being generated from the studio, this turn key operation, equipped with the latest technologies, including fiber to send and receive our signal, will cut our production costs by 70%,"
Turn Key and cutting costs? Another excellent positive.
"With a studio in Dallas and soon the one in the LA area, we will have the capacity to increase our live programming to 60%, making Q Television the only GLBT network with that large of a percentage of original programming. And, we will still drastically reduce our monthly costs."
2 studios and larger amount of live programming. This just keep getting better.
"This California studio will be our home base. Among the new shows to be shot there will be Gay Day, our morning talk show, which will consist of two main celebrity hosts and correspondents from around the U.S., which will begin airing in June. Other shows to be shot will be Gay Court, a dance show, and a weekly comedy show. This is just one more step to show the carriers that we are a viable player for the next decade," added Olsen.
Not sure where the post is, but someone recently posted some of the above was not going to happen. This sheds different light on that topic.
The bottom line boils down to there are specific dates, turn key operation, will be the home base studio, contracts in place that Q will aquire, some identifiable revenues and reduction of costs. I am sure more is being done in the back ground, but I recall Frank mentioning in a PR somewhere about aquisitions. This is the begining. For those who think this will come together over night, your dead wrong. I stopped watching on daily basis as my sanity is more valuble. Although Franks attempts in the past may have failed, Viacom did some major door opening with just one PR for the Q and Frank has openly said thank you many times. The rest is all falling into place.

WTF, where did my post go? Am I not allowed to talk *good* about this stock? That's odd, all my comments talking about negatives or things to be cautious of with QBID get posted, but when I have something good to say my post gets deleted/removed?

Exactly! The hardest work for any start-up network is getting on the air. Period.
Everything else is a simply a matter of time, nothing more, nothing less!
