Here is a great opportunity for a sponsorship for the "Q" it would provide excellent exposure for us.

Still hoping to reach his skating dream
Dropped by sponsors on the eve of the competition, 36-year-old out skater Stéphane Vachon hopes gay contributions will help him test his Canadian gold medals at the Adult World Championships in Germany

By Daniel Vaillancourt

An Advocate.com exclusive posted, May 17, 2005

Visions of ribbons and gold have danced in the head of French-Canadian figure skater Stéphane Vachon since he was a kid growing up in a small town outside Quebec City. Winning his first competition at age 9, Vachon seemed to be off to a great start. But off the ice, glory gave way to merciless schoolyard mockery. At 17, his self-esteem in shreds, Vachon abandoned his world-champion aspirations. “I’d lost all confidence in myself and become really ashamed and guilty about who I was,” says the skater today, speaking from his home in Canada. Taking his talents to the relative safety of skating shows, Vachon toured with the Ice Capades in North America and Holiday on Ice in Europe, logging more than 1,000 performances. And although he did enter the 1994 Gay Games in New York City—winning two gold medals—he remained wary of mainstream contests. Until now.

Throwing himself back onto competitive ice less than five months ago, Vachon, now 36, is bound and determined to “take that little boy by the hand and give him the chance to fulfill his dream.” After grabbing the gold at the 2005 Adult Canadian Championships in Charlottetown last March, he had set his sights on the upcoming Adult World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, and the Mountain Cup International in Villard-de-Lans, France. But the unexpected, last-minute pullout of corporate sponsors—whom Vachon refuses to name—has shattered his hope of participating. “I want to show everybody that you can believe in your dreams and live them no matter how old you are,” says the skater. “And knowing I have a good chance to win a medal, I just need to be there.”

It's not a stretch to say that competing in Europe this summer would hone Vachon’s blades for next year’s first World OutGames in Montreal and Gay Games VII in Chicago, both of which he’s desperate to attend. “I am finally very proud of being a figure skater,” he concludes. “It’s important for me to show that I have finally learned to embrace who I really am without any shame. It’s never too late for happiness.”

In an attempt to raise the few thousand dollars he needs, Vachon has set up a plea for donations on his Web site, www.svonice.com.

“As an openly gay athlete, it’s already so hard to get sponsors,” he says. “I'm hoping the gay community is willing to help me reach my goals.”

No, Let me put it like this, some activity is going on at EOD. There seems to be two positions on this forum. I intend to introduce a third as an equally viable option. Here are the two current:

1) Frank is buying back shares.
2) Frank isn't doing squat, it is just market makers finishing up for the day.

I want to introduce a third:
3) Frank's diluting.

I am not a basher. I want to make that very clear. But the way the talk goes on QBID threads sometimes, it seems as if Frank diluting isn't even an option. And to suggest such is blasphemy or sacrilege.

What I am saying myself is that I don't think Frank is diluting, and I believe he *is* buying back shares.

Where you and I would disagree is his intentions. I think Frank isn't done playing in the pinks with QBID, and it tears me up to see it. I think his intention for buying back shares is so that the stock will run and then he'll sell again. And then 3 to 4 months from now, when this stock has fallen from a high of .0070 in June, or whatever, he'll start talking about getting on an exchange, auditing, and filing with the SEC.

Don't get me wrong, QBID is different from most pinks in that they actually have a business, but it looks as if the same game applies: "Annouce big news, drop a few billion shares on the market, stablize PPS with talk about filing with the SEC, buy back a few billion shares, rinse, repeat."

First post and 5 stars for g-invest from me for being realistic about this investment. I've read all of your posts for some time and respect many of the opinions proffered, so no offense to those others.....just thought 2 stars was a miscarriage of justice in his case.

Sitting at 1.3 million at .22 and holding out for good news. Good luck to all of us!

now about that third point of veiw maybe frank is buying back shares then dilluting then buying them back cheap.this is possible and it will in my opinion harm the longs here a bit.but i still think even if this is going on the longer term investment here i feel is still a great one.lets hope that if frank is buying then diluting ect.... the money he makes he is using wisely.

Well, your third option is viable and I had wondered the same thing myself. If you look at it logically, he lets PPS rise, dilutes, then buys back his shares he diluted with after the PPS drops.

I would suggest there is a 4th option. This is if he buys back more than he dilutes with, eventually working back down, just not at a faster rate than he would if he was doing a straight buy back. This is very plausible because as you said, they are still a pink, and money is hard to come by. This makes it rather easy for him to follow through on his buyback. This is all IMO.

There might be some big announcement today, who knows. I don't think any PR save one that says they are definitely getting off the Pinks is going to keep my interest at this point.

Frank or Richard, if you read this, there's a lot of investors here that want to see you pick a date to be fully reporting with the SEC.

Oh yeah, you're entirely correct, right now I think they *are* buying back shares, as per the PR they released a while back. But I also think they have the intention of diluting again after a run. And that upsets me. Because rather than let this run to .10 and higher, they instead dilute to, in essence, generate more cash. If they have 5 years guaranteed financing, then why are they doing this? Why aren't they just taking the honest route and doing what they can?

The last time they did this was for the Gay Games 2006. I think it ran to about a penny or so, then they gagged the transfer agent (or he already was) and started diluting. (the transfer agent has likely been gagged for forever, as with nearly every other pink sheet, nothing new).

They added an extra 7 billion to the OS from one of the comments by someone who attemtped to guess their O/S. They've since supposedly bought it back, but then why the drop in PPS? Who in their right mind would buy QBID and sell at a lower price than they bought intentionally?

Frank blames MMs. That's the cheap way out. He's gotta watch saying that because lots of pink sheets use this tactic to hide the fact that they are diluting. They say things like "we feel that our stock is being undervalued and not allowed to trade at it's worth." MMs have actually learned to catch this phrase as an indicator that the CEO is about to dilute or already diluting, and they jump in and short as well.

I don't think Frank is doing this now, but I'm certain he's done it in the past. All I'm asking is for them to pick a date to file with the SEC. If they refuse to do it by July 1st, they are corrupt as hell. If they release an investor update pleading for more time, then they might not be. But this is ridiculous. They need to put their money where their mouths are and build a real company. They're never going to have longs in QBID unless they do.

If they do set a date to be off the pinks, then who knows what the stock will hit.

If you are long in QBID, keep in mind that our biggest enemy is always going to be a dishonest CEO:
http://www.sec.gov/rules/proposed/s72303/tmalone113003.txt

I don't think Frank is diluting, but I don't think he's buying these shares now with the intention of retiring them. No, instead I think he's buying with the intention of running the PPS up and diluting again.

Can anyone tell me why Frank hasn't provided us any information on the number of people subscribed.Any kind of cash flow numbers,or any information that is solid and concrete.I Am starting to believe the diluting and the other negative stuff said here...
Has he kept a firm date on anything he has said so far? That is not a bash that is a true question.
I can't think of any..Would just like to see what revenue there is ...even a high and low number..
like Between $1 and $1,000,000.00 per month..

take the AON off... they will fill you in partials... you pay only one commission. Unless it takes two days to fill! if you have a 5 mill share order and they fill it with 5 1 million trades... you only pay one commission fee! On really big orders... I always remove the aon so they can fill it in little chunks!

KfNYC..

With AON checked, if the MM's do not have all the shares that you want, they will go on to the next smaller order and fill them first even if you have been there longer waiting. So, with really big orders, it is good to uncheck the AON and accept the partial fills! I have placed orders before and received upto 5 partials to give me my total fill!
