If this is true, great. If this is not true, great. I believe in the Q. Who knows what a price the buyout would be at, nobody knows. I really think there will be big news this week, let's watch and see. I have a small eight ball that says we may get big news this week.

>>The funny thing about the BET, they never made a dime. They never posted a profit and they sold for what? 5 billion?!?!<<
>>So it is highly unlikely that we can ever pass an audit. We can pass a financial audit we cannot pass an Edgar audit on the shareholder base.<<
...was it ever really a concern to Q that we could ever possibly get off the pinks...?? what would Q actually need to be absorbed by another company's offer..?? a financial audit..?
Rene: As you know when TMM was purchased we purchased a shell company and we then filled the shell up with assets that we had like the network. Unfortunately for us the shell that we bought was not as clean as it had been represented to us when we bought it. So it is highly unlikely that we can ever pass an audit. We can pass a financial audit we cannot pass an Edgar audit on the shareholder base. So it is very unlikely that we are going to get off the pinks for quite some time. However, that doesn't mean we aren't looking around to go and see maybe some innovative way to get off the pink sheets and get onto an exchange but it is too early for me to answer that. besides, there is a lot of work to be done and I don't want to be quoted as saying, "we're going to be off within a certain period of time."
Frank Olsen: The numbers jive. See you have to understand, we consider we'll be worth 5 billion in 5 years, because that's based on sales of other channels. You have to take the Black Entertainment Network. You have to take the Bass Channels. Let's take the Golf Channel. You have the QVC Home Shopping Network, and you take sales of Bravo. All the niche' channels; Sundance. You take all the niche' channels and you see what their average length is. The average length is 3 years and then they're bought out and made offers to buyout. The funny thing about the BET, they never made a dime. They never posted a profit and they sold for what? 5 billion?!?!

Good find Whiz. Personally I am not to crazy about Marketwatch board though for QBID. Quite the pump and bash Party goes on there. Some clown said he had 182 million shares and still adding. When the price was dropping he pumping like crazy. Some of the stuff ended up being made up.As for the bashers over their, they post about 1 in 5. This board is an oasis compared to over at MW.

This is why you can't get my shares at gun-point!
In order for a major corporation to justify buying a pinksheet company to their share holders they would have to demonstrate that they were not just able to do Due Diligence but in fact did the DD & found the target to be "Financially Sound".
My Money is firmly bet that the float is smaller & that SOMEONE whether it be Viacom or whomever is buying the pure living $h!t out of this puppy!
Yes! Someone is buying big on the days that you see big volume & decline in share price!
I'm a firm believer that Frank is reducing the float via buy-back! Again, it begs the question, WHO's backing his play? I still believe Viacom would be the one to benefit most! And the fact that the "rumor" post was pulled within hours of it being online give this rumor real juicy credibility.
In so much as who had it pulled,,,
It could have been Frank knowing a rumor might queer the deal so to speak. LOL!
All joking aside I think it was Frank! Almost sure of it! More sure of that than I am that it's Viacom buying in! On that issue I just know somebody's putting up alot of cash. As far as Viacom is concerned I will say that I'm the first person to float the idea that Viacom would buy us out but that does not mean I'm right!
Now consider this, I hazard to guess that the mere absence of a PR to clarify this issue early Monday will fuel the rumor more!
One thing we all know (I think) or at least "I" know for a fact,,,
There will come a day that Frank sells QBID!
That is what he does!!! He developes the idea, brings it to market polishes it up & SELLS IT!!!!
There does exist a fat block of shares they can not access! MINE!
Because there is one tiny little FACT that I will never overlook!

I'm not so sure, Stealx. I wouldn't bet your money on this statement if I were you. Frank will sell eventually, that I'm certain of.

I sincerely hope we dont see a single pr until something is signed, finalized, and being put into effect. Any more "forward looking" bs is just going to hurt us right now.
My gut tells me something big is coming and I am ready for the ride!

Thanks Whiz. I really believe there will be a pr this week and also feel that it will be a big one. Very easily that Viacom can buy us out. I have questioned as to where some of this big money is coming from, and this can be from where. We all know Frank will see one day, but if there is a buyout I just hope it's for a nice price for us all to benefit from.
