Well, honestly? I think this CVS think is just a flash in the pan. If you look at the dates of when Quigley and Mr. Slimfast came on board, you can see that I think this CVS deal was not thought through.
Here's my take on it: It's sometime in November. Quigley and Mr. Slimfast have not come on board yet. Chris has done developing his product, so now he tries (on his own) to begin marketing it. Now, Chris I'm sure is a good guy, but marketing and distribution is not his thing. So, he sets up negotiations with CVS to have Nicodrops test-trialed there (I know CVS does this throughout the year with other "test" products). Chris probably also comes up with the lame packaging (remember, he is not in Marketing!). Then, right before the CVS deal is announced, he signs Quigley and Mr. Slimfast. Now Mr. Slimfast has just come on board when the CVS deal is announced, so he really has no say yet in the deal. But from what I'm gathering, I think Mr. Slimfast is going to not worry about the CVS deal that much - in fact, in the future, you'll see deals with retailers where Nicodrops will not be distributed on a test basis only. Again, Mr. Slimfast is the key to this operation at this point. I would expect sometime in the Spring we see the Marketing blitz, sometime in the summer we see OTC.BB listing, and then sometime next winter we get our first real sales/revenue figures.
Let Mr. Slimfast do his work... CVS is just a drop in the bucket, you'll see.

Make of this what you will. I am not a smoker but tried the product. Since purchasing Nicodrops I have been taking a lozenge as soon as I get home from work. My normal routine when I walk in the door is grab some junk food, and I consume these empty calories on a regular basis. It has been two days and the after work snacking frenzy has stopped. I will continue to do this for a week and see what happens. Could you imagine if Nicodrops helps to prevent over eating when you are trying to quit. I know the mind is a powerful thing, but I would love to shed some extra weight any way I can.

Makes me want to buy another round of ncdp today! still no drops in my local cvs, but hoping to find them. This is a general question. I bought in at .0195 and ever since it dropped a little. I would like to know how to react to a upper momentum in this stock. I am new to this and am wondering, lets say it goes up to .03 would you sell to make some money and hope that it drops to buy back more or just let it ride. I don't need the money that I invested right now. Any help would be appreiciated.

I'm riding it out until at least .20 . You'll see it that price once revenues are released, which will be after OTC listing, which is sometime this summer probably.

I started a new thread to post this important update because I understand that there are many of you that are interested in Nicodrops, but aren't currently reading the big thread that we have going. I did not want y'all to miss this news.
Okay -- sorry HSMer's, for the delay in getting this exciting news to y'all, but I was at work when I received the call from Mr. Calpito and didn't have time to write thoroughly about our conversation. Of course, then I had to rush to attend my son's baseball tryouts, come home and eat, assess the homework situation, high five the wife etc. etc.
So for those of you wondering about the state of ncdp, here is what I gleaned from the very nice chat I had with the CEO and Director of Nicodrops.
First, he dispelled any truth to the rumor that CVS and Nicodrops have discontinued their relationship. That is simply not true. Nicodrops is currently and actively continuing to build their relationship with CVS and work closely with the many distribution centers across the country to get their product in all of the CVS stores. Remember, to do national roll out of this magnitude takes a tremendous effort and considerable time. Plus, there was a problem with the UPC bar codes on the packaging that crippled their initial roll out effort.
I asked him about any other plans for retail locations, and he said that he has been contacted by many drug stores interested in carrying the Nicodrops product. They are also negotiating with various chains to carry the lozenges. Obviously, in addition to fielding requests to carry the product, they are aggressively pursuing outlets for the product.
This is where the conversation turned to Joel Appel, Director of Sales and Marketing for ncdp. If you’re not familiar with Joel, read about him at this link. http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/041209/69157.html He is a true heavyweight when it comes to being able to get products on shelves and to market them on a national scale. Someone with Mr. Appel's credentials is not going to take on the task of promoting a product that he does not believe in. Mr. Calpito reminded me of this important point.
Mr. Calpito also wanted me to know that he is surrounding himself with the most competent people in their respective fields to assist him and to represent Nicodrops. We discussed at length one of my philosophies (don't remember where I heard it or read it) and one that he adheres to as well -- Great Leaders Surround Themselves With Great Men. I believe Mr. Calpito is doing just that.
He also mentioned Nicodrops' strong partner in investor/public relations and financial communications, The Cervelle Group. He believes that this group will truly complement the other parts of his management team. He told me to feel free to contact them at anytime with questions about his company.
Don't forget the other super heavyweight they have when it comes to manufacturing the lozenges -- they contracted Quigley Manufacturing Inc. to handle this task. (I posted the e-mail of confirmation that I received from Quigley in the big ncdp thread.)
I asked him when we were going to get some news from the company. He said within the next several weeks, and quite possibly sooner, we will get another PR with good news. Of course, as y'all well know, he could not divulge what the news will be.
Our conversation primarily involved the company and his philosophies. It was also a "getting to know each other" exchange. He gave me his number and e-mail, so that I could contact him with any further questions or issues that I felt I wanted to discuss. He was up front and honest, and he made sure I knew he was accessible in the future.
Don't forget that this company has accomplished a great deal in a very short period of time. The hiring of Mr. Appel, the Quigley manufacturing contract, the CVS distribution deal, the Cervelle Group association, the Canadian FDA approval, and the EC (European Community) approval to distribute Nicodrops in 15 European countries. Whew!
One of the things that Mr. Calpito asked is that we remain patient and recognize that their efforts are continuous and their goals are lofty.
I really enjoyed visiting with him, and I feel reassured and as confident as ever that ncdp is heading in the right direction for the consumers and its investors as well.
Since we did not discuss pertinent details concerning the company's stock and stock-related issues, if there are questions that HSMer's have, PM me with your questions, or post them in this thread and I'll compile and relay them to Mr. Calpito for all of us.

That info page read a little too much like the pr`s that Ken Schilling of IBZT used to release. That led nowhere but hopefull this is different. One thing I have gathered from the released info is that this will take some time to materilize. Within this year I am sure we will see a good spike in price that is way higher than we have now and I also believe a big buying opp. will also come with the price way below the current pps. It just take time for a whole operation to get going with distrubution and what not and it takes private placement or dillution to finance it. That in itself will keep downward pressure on this stock. I have not bought in yet but monitor it daily waitng for a buy in I feel confident at.

if it cant take off at the beginning of the year with millions of people making new years resolutions. its downhill from here. it you are willing to wait till this december or next jan, it may payoff. but holding a penny stock through the summer is very risky. but good luck with it.

Summer is when they will hit the OTC.BB . By Spring, you'll start seeing ads. They should have never sold their story to GreenBaron... all it did was pump it for no reason.
Now it will slow climb. You'll see.

Dont think it will take that long, if the company knows what it's doing. The market is there all year long, and if we show some profit when the financials come out, that SHOULD cause a pop in the pps. This IMO, take it for what its worth.

i took a loss on this one. i got in at .019 and sold at .015 but, if it gets below .01 which most likely it will, i will probably get back in. what did you get in at? this thing was up to .034

I'm in at .027 for 10K. I'm down over $5K right now. But I have had numerous discussions with the CEO and Cervelle (see my previous posts). I understand what is happening... the CVS thing was done too quickly. The CEO jumped the gun. Now they are reformulating their marketing/distribution strategy. Also, the OTC listing in the summer. And the potential revenue stream with NO debt is incredible.
By the way, look at Raging Bull's board on this.. some guy is flipping out.hahaha
I'm not sweating. I don't need the money and when this thing starts to go, it will be a runaway locomotive.

I got in at .031 .020 and .013 If I noticed it go this low today I would have got more. I figure it should be over .050 in a month or two. The next PR will probably make this skyrocket and it could be any day now. I am glad to see they are taking marketing in the right direction.

Just wwanted to let everybody know that earlier in the week I checked a few local CVS's and I couldnt find Nicodrops. Tonight I was in there for some other things and believe it or not right behind the cashiers head was Nicodrops. Positioned right next to all the nicorette stuff. Great positioning, made my night. So its in the Chicagoland now

I bought some as well in Central, New Jersey. Must be the old packaging - my wife said it look like a roach killer product. Haha. True, but the new packaging hopefully will be better once Mr. Slimfast gets his hands on it. Didn't really do much for me, but I'm not a smoker!
Gonna send it down to my brother in law in FL... he dips and he wants to see if can quit with it.
Have no fear, this stock will rise. I wish I had more money to accumulate.

If you just give this a little time I feel certain you will be pleased with the results. As was brought out earlier, Nicodrops Inc. has taken steps that show their eagerness to really make Nicodrops more of a household name than Nicorette. Yes the packaging is a little drab but just give them a bit more time. I know that everytime I drove past a slimfast plant in Covington, TN the first thing that popped in mind was the attractive packaging and when you pull people on board from a company like that you know that that is on the minds of those of whom it needs to be. I personally don't own much of the stock, 10,000 shares, BUT I absolutely see the need to get more while it is still below .02. Get what you can and expect the best because that what you can expect.

JB99 - it a blue box? It kinda looks like a roach killer product. They said they recently changed it. I ordered some online yesterday so we'll see if it is different than the ones I bought in CVS.
I think the storm is brewing on this stock... we have definitely found resistance, and I think people are beginning to take notice that they may be a major player with huge PRs in the near future.
Has anyone heard of Nicodrops NOT working for someone who wishes to quit smoking? And I don't mean lame basher posts on other boards either...

Currently sucking on a nicodrop... taste bad. Sold in a blue paper flat bag, 20 lozenges, 4 grams each... individually wrapped in blue twister film-type material. Directions on back. Yes, it works.... for me. Personally, it allays my need for smoking... for about 30-45 minutes. New Minty Taste!! Yeah right!! LOL! However, I think the yucky taste is a plus... a constant reminder that this is NOT candy... but a quit-smoking device. Good luck all smokers currently trying to quit!! salemm.

I actually like the way they taste and can honestly say that I have not had a dip (snuff) in 7 + days. The drops help take the edge of withdrawal off. I would prefer they be sugar free, though can live with it considering I'm off the tobacco. Wish I had some free cash to accumulate some their stock. Regardless, I'm tobacco free.

Someone mentioned that not everything Joel Appel touches turns to gold. They brought up APPI.OB which sells all natural products for cholesterol, etc. What are the chances that these two companies merge at some point. It would make perfect sense. The products it markets are Lo-Chol, ACACaplets and Sinusol. Wouldn't it be possible to throw in a all natural smoking product as well?
