not today, but eventually you will make money. product is on the shelves. need more major advertising. some positive prs and financials would be helpful. it is frustrating. at this point its a long hold however

In April NCDP had over $250,000 in sales, which was all from just one Walgreens order. Walgreens has already placed a second order which puts the NCDP Walgreens account at $500,000 in sales for 2005. At 60% profit margin that is $300,000 from just 2 Walgreens orders. This company only has room to grow and there are many more retailers out there that would place orders the same size or bigger then Walgreens, we just have to wait until NCDP starts to meet with them later this year and the beginning of 2006.
Most retailers only reconsider there anti-smoking inventory once or twice a year. They have a set date and every year on that date they look at all the new anti-smoking products and meet with wholesalers and manufactures. When NCDP contacts a company like Rite-Aid they set up a meeting but the meeting is on Rite-Aid’s terms; Rite-Aid looks at there calendar and sets up the meeting, the only problem is that meeting might not be for 6 months. Retailers don’t meet at random with wholesalers; they follow there calendar and stick with it.

The ad campaign begins this week in Ladies Home Journal, Woman’s World & The National Enquirer. Then the week of the 26th NCDP is also running an ad in In-Touch magazine. The first of the three ads in USA Today are scheduled to run August 29th, then September 5th & 12th. The third issue of USA Today’s coupon ad will coincide with an in-store Walgreens circular offering Nicodrops at a reduced price.
If you listen to the Appel’s interview he talks about NCDP running ads during the back to school period and he addressed other issues about NCDP like how they plan to add another product to there line by 2006. Appel also talks about how he plans to meet with more retailers in the upcoming months and that Chris is strongly pursuing overseas distribution.

The first ad of NCDP’s ad blitz is already on the shelves; Woman’s World has the ad running in its August 16th issue which is already on shelves. The ad is on page 47 on the right hand side. They changed the ad a little bit from the ads that ran back in June; in red across the top of the ad it states “A SMOKING ALTERNATIVE”, below that they have the “Nicřdrops” logo, everything else in the ad is the same as the old ads.

NCDP has a good product, as soon as you go into Wallgreens you see the product.I mean, wow, how many stores do they have? I've noticed they try to put there locations in the highest traffic areas.At least in the cities I've been.I think it'll come... eventually.Volume's starting to pick up too I think.
