Not sure Winsum, I have seen so many PR's changing the number of shares etc. I was not sure if they changed the date also. I guess it wouldn't matter, I have been in and out of this stock quite a bit, I wouldn't even know if I qualify for the dividend anyways.

Also not many trades for such a big volume yesterday # of Trades: 83 Volume: 176,285,100 Avg. # of Trades: 42 Avg. Daily Volume: 136,541,099
Over on RB, right after joelm mentioned the coming drop in pps (2:28 pm EDT), I believe 70 million shares of GXXL were dumped on the market in less than 1 minute! Talk about market manipulation! That is half of the O/S stated above!!
Global: Universal Acquires 14.9% Equity Stake in Global at .0125 Cents Per Share; Pays $50,000 for Option to Acquire Additional Shares
Tuesday , September 14, 2004 16:10 ET
KAMLOOPS, British Columbia, Sep 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Global Explorations Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) announces that Universal Beverages has taken a 14.9% equity stake in Global Explorations at .0125 cents per share.
Universal is also paying a non-refundable deposit of $50,000 for an option to acquire an additional 10% of the company at a price of .025 cents per share. The option is good for one year.
Michelle Yulanda, Vice-President of Business Development & Acquisitions at Universal, explains the reasons for which Universal is acquiring a substantial stake and paying a premium for shares in Global:
-- The database of cell phone numbers that Global has assembled during the last few months is priceless. The ability to reach more than 1,000,000 unique individuals at anytime is on par with some television networks.
-- Universal is taking a strategic equity position in Global as the company is positioned for exponential growth in earnings and revenues within the next few months.
-- Universal believes that Global is following highly a successful SMS business model which has been proven very successful overseas. We want to make sure that we do not miss the boat again.
-- Global's SMS messaging interface is by far the simplest and easy to use compared to other SMS providers. This gives Global a strategic advantage over its competitors.
-- Universal can utilize Global's current cell phone database to market its products.

Am I missing something, or is this very good news? .0125? .025???
The only thing I'm not comfortable with, is it's more and more clear that this is all about cell phone spam, and selling the database to whomever.
I'm planning to hold this stock for a while, but there's no way I'm going to put my cell phone number on that list. (But don't tell anybody I said that)

Thats a good point. I'm not really sure why. All I know is that I'm cancelling my sell at .0005. We should get a nice rise in PPS tomorrow.

Well, uh... the bid needs to come up?
Hey, a 25% gain is a 25% gain. If it does that every day, that'll be just fine.
Who knows HOW many companies will want to get their grubby little hands on that cell phone database for the next new wave of spam.
I'm holding for a while. Until the news comes out that there's going to be a cell phone do-not-call list, then the ride is over. But that could be a year from now, for all we know.

Global: Company Cash Flow Positive from SMS Text Messaging Operations
KAMLOOPS, British Columbia , Sep 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Global Explorations, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) should have positive cash flow for the third quarter ending in September 2004.
Global is on track to declare a small operating profit from its SMS Text Messaging Operations. This is a strategic turning point for the company and was achieved primarily from a single revenue stream (press release distribution services).
For the fourth quarter, Global will be initiating the following additional revenue streams:
-- MMS (Full Motion Video Clip) Advertising Services -- Ring Tones, Wallpaper & Video Game Downloads -- Paid Security Alerts Service on 911Sms.com -- Subscription based Live Sports Scores Updates -- Introduction of Banner Advertising
We have achieved profitability from a single revenue stream. Once these additional revenue streams are implemented, we should see an exponential growth in revenue and profit.
The company has also aggressively cut costs and overhead expenditures during the last quarter. For example, the company's offices have shifted to Canada, due to the lower costs of operations.
Additional details shall be made available shortly

I am not saying this is happening, because I don't know, but it has been floating around on other message boards that GXXL is dumping more shares. Mostly on RB, which in itself means its probably is not true. They release a good PR, then start dumping shares on the market so the PPS does not drop like it probably would if there was no news out. Its just a thought, and I hope it is not the case, but it would explain why this is not moving on the good news it has been getting.

well the company says they are not selling shares but where are they comming from? I don't know about you but i don't trust anyone in this game. Those shares are coming from some where and it did not have a run up yet for people to take profit. i could see seiling at .0007 or .0008 since it has been at .0004 and .0005 but all the sells are at 4 and 5

Okay people, let's have a little reality check. First of all the volume on this stock has been extremely low since the split. before the split this stock was trading between 100 to 200 Million shares a day and after the split it dropped, for some reason, to around 50 Million shares today. Ideally to maintain the same movement the stock had before the split means that this stock should be trading around 1 Billion shares a day or more. I think what is happening is that most people held on to their shares after the split. With the good news it some people probably decided to unload a little bit of their shares but the fact that it still only traded between 100 to 200 Million shares the last two days is still only getting back to the average movement before the split and we now have a float 10 times bigger than that.
The bottom line is that no one is probably interested in buying this stock. There is no demand for it. The news caused a little increase in demand but right now there is currently no demand for it IMHO. This thing is really only going to start moving when you see the volume get to 500 Million to 1 Billion shares traded for the day.
