It all doesnt add up, IMHO.

Why do a 10-1 forward split and THEN offer a 5-1 dividend of FNRP? Or a cash dividend for that matter?

I'm not complaining but I find it all too good to be true, hence the reason I didnt invest any more after the initial amount.

A $200 investment equals 21700 shares (or a lot more, depending on your buy-in price!) of GXXL, after a 10 for 1 split, that's 217,000 shares. Divide by 5. 43,400 shares of FNRP.

Ah yes, the mysterious FNRP. Which we know nothing about. Yet. Still. But hey, at least it's trading on the Nasdaq OTC at $2.00 a share! That means my tiny investment is worth wellll.. (after potentially a year of being on restricted status for the shares and unassuming no price drop (haha))...

drumroll please...

$ 86,800!

from a 210 buck investment..<cough>

I dunno. I think GXXL needs to ante up and put its cards more visibly on the table.
Quite frankly Lisa, there are few and far between "good days" for pinks. If there were, everyone would make money on them, and they'd all be good stocks. Sadly, only about 100 out of 100,000 (if allstocks.com's blurb about them is correct) are any good at all.

Some of you are probably saying "ya know, what's he complaining about..it's only 200 bucks" ..you know what...after getting kicked around like an old dog in the face a number of times by penny stocks (and their CEOs lies/incompetence/things out of their control) you tend to get a little defensive-minded.

I'm sure all the investors who got shafted by TSBB's late reverse split PR (which I didnt have investment in but am still a little pissed off) recently might agree with me.

Sincerely,

Phoenixx, the slow-learning student from Purl Gurl's School of Skeptical Investors

P.S Yes, ultimately we are in control of our investments. I shouldnt have lost $700 on PCCL (albeit it did drop pretty rapidly). But there needs to be accountability on the other side. Dont take my viewpoint as bashing. I've just had enough and am not going to take it any more I guess.

Thanks for letting me vent.

I think those FNRP trades were test trades. The current numbers (volume, high, low, etc.) on Ameritrade streamer were reset to zero as of COB today.

Look at the quotes and trades page, instead of the streamer. I'm not sure which one is right.

Let's see, if A/S is 100 million (see previous DD post) after 10/1 split it will be 1 billion.

FNRP shares will be at least 200 million (restricted)...how much more is there for free trading?

Without income the pps should then be close to GXXL before split?

so, one big question about FNRP distribution ...
was the record date 3 days before July 30th or is it TODAY?!
Will "Shareholder of record" be counted as of 3 days prior to July 30th or 3 days prior to Monday, Aug 30th (which is today COB)?

This quote from the PR dated July 30th implies Today...

" 'Global Explorations also hereby changes the effective date of the FNRP special dividend to August 30th, 2004 due to unforeseen circumstances,' continued Atul Mehta."

Anybody heard anything different?

Hmm, there is actually an ask on FNRP. Something is going on. Here it is.

MRLN is at Zero along with PUGS on the Bid.

MRLN is at 2.00 on the Ask and PUGS is at 2.05.

PUGS just updated their position today at 12:30.

Don't know if you can actually trade this or not.

http://66.159.18.8/cricket/bestbuy/utility/loginnew/user/us03

Under Marketing Presentation it has the same corporate ad our site has (along with the same misspelled words ha ha).

Came from Cricketonly.net http://cricketonly.net/corporate/sms.html

Lisa,

We could use a couple of PRs like this one (from a competitor's web site)...Atul got any up his sleeve?

QUIOS ANNOUNCES CONTENTWEB™, A WORLDWIDE MOBILE CONTENT DELIVERY SERVICE BASED ON SUN JAVA SYSTEM CONTENT DELIVERY SERVER

JavaOne, San Francisco, July 1 2004. Quios, the leading international mobile messaging gateway provider, announces ContentWeb™, a robust, hosted solution for mobile content delivery and billing. Quios has today agreed to license the Sun Java™ System Content Delivery Server and the Sun Java™ Enterprise System to add mobile content delivery to its suite of hosted services. By combining the Quios core SMS and MMS delivery infrastructure with the Sun Java™ Content Delivery Server and Sun Java™ Enterprise System, third parties (developers, content providers, media companies, and others) will be able to make their content, such as images, ringtones, and games, available to consumers across carriers and across countries, without any significant investments in carrier connectivity or content management technology.

FNRP will be new GXXL.

Cricmania Cricketonly and Cricketworld are all owned by ATUL.

Crincmania merged into GXXL back in 2001.

ATUL was also listed as president of Choice Sports networks CHSP ticker is dead.

All the SMS links on Cricmania .com direct you to a separate SMS sign in sheet, but used to direct you to Milleniumsms .com site.

Yes I think so to...however, I think the FNRP distribution will be postponed again...why(?), I can't find the 10 day notification filed anywhere like the 10/1 split was filed.

I don't think this is bad though...I think , as I recall from somewhere - maybe PR, maybe statement - Atul was trying for a certain kind of status that would allow the restriction on the restricted shares to be lifted much sooner than 1 year - if that is possible.

Anyway, that would certainly take some doing and would delay the distribution IMO.

I'm out of this one, too many strange things going on. Tomorrow might be a good day to bail out, since it could be the highlight of Mehta and Lisa's pump and dump scheme. The way I see it, all the PR has been leading up to Friday. And then, right before the big day, Lisa takes off for another board and Global changes their location and phone number. By the time Mehta sells his 300 million shares, or whatever he has, we won't know where to find him. This is only my opinion. Sorry to be so negative, but I don't like what I'm seeing here.

By the time Mehta sells his 300 million shares, or whatever he has, we won't know where to find him. This is only my opinion. Sorry to be so negative, but I don't like what I'm seeing here.

Lisa switched boards because one bashers, grant, was eating up the whole board...and on a big stock day for GXXL...and nothing relavent for the most part...the other board is moderated...it also has a lot of cool features.

I don't know about the Canada move...that is strange.

These boards are moderated...and who's Grant?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see who Grant is. Just finished that thread. I thought she'd already left RB when she came over to ours.
