I thought they had said it was a private company they were trying to acquire.. and now it says "PAVP has successfully purchased a public shell as stated in the February 26th press release.".....does anyone know if its a "public" or "private" company....or any ideas.....

Lets not forget Ibzt it was .0019 then when news hit it climbed to .08 then back to .05 and again .08 and so on. all this within a matter of a week or two. I believe Pavp can do better what do you guys think?

I DOUBT we will hit 0.05 within a week. I HOPE i am wrong!

JoeD, read again... I think you misunderstood. They purchased a PRIVATE company as well as a shell. They will then spin the fingerprint company into the shell (making it a public company) and use the shares to trade the fingerprint company! Does this make sense?

I stress again, I HOPE i am wrong. Ibzt was an exciting case, but I dont think it can be used as the norm. If you are using it to say "anything can happen" I agree. I am NOT saying PAVP cant hit .05-7 in a week. I hope it does. I just wouldnt go out and buy a new car in anticipation of this happening!!! TRUST ME, I will repeat this, I HOPE PAVP FLIES HUGE!!!

I have been in since .095, and right now I will definately be staying until Mar 9th. After that I will need to feel it out, and decide whether I want to stay until May 1st.

Congrats and GLTA

BTW......John Gault, a special congrats to you! You're the first person I gave advice to on a stock that actually was good! LOL Probably the last too!! LMAO

I think a good selling point is at resistance. I haven't done enough research to know exactly where that is at right now. This is going to go up. I would think that at the open it's going to jump, then we are going to get plenty of people selling for profits and a dip, and hopefully we can fill those sells with people who want to jump in. The news we have is great. Expect more good news next Tuesday with the fingerprint company. I think the best news is that it will be listed on European markets. I personally do not like to buy and sell a whole lot. You could probably make more money otherwise but I always feel like I might miss the boat. I would say stay in. But that is only one persons opinion.

play the free shares. that's what i'm going to do. i bought in @ .01 i have a order to sell half @ .02. that will get me my money back and everything else is extra. i may sell a little more than half, which will give me a bit of a profit in case it plummets again. that's my plan....

I like this stock and was fortunate enough to buy more before the bell. With the Spin off news coming on March 9 I want to be sure to keep some free shares. I don't plan to sell too soon and miss the expected big run. This ran up to .024 on not much news on the first spikes. I am expecting it to breeze past that mark. I have sold too early before and would rather miss a mini spike than watch a giant run from the sidelines fighting the desire to buy back in at the top. Everyone do your own DD and do what you think is best for your circumstances.
I am thankful for this one. -Debi

Thanks, Opiate, for the advice! I was just thinking how much you rocked while I scrolled down on the page. My couple of my dad's friends are brokers (btw I'm 19), and they were all tsk tsk-ing me on penny stock trading yesterday night, apparently. Well HA!

BTW I have to say that I'm VERY glad/lucky I found this board. The atmosphere is great. We have a great thing going here. I can't wait til I'm a seasoned trader (lets hope that happens) and can give a few pointers a few years down the road... on this board hopefully!

Hey,

I'll keep a close look at this one...and when I say a close look...I live about 30 minutes from the St-Hubert Airport(see PR below). It's the second big attempt to do something with this place. The first one fail due to a lack of financing. Now that this new company have money to go forward, well....good vibs.

HOUSTON, Feb 09, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- ProActive Computer Services Inc. (Pink Sheets:PAVP) has finalized the acquisition of CortDev Inc., a Canadian airport redevelopment/enhancement firm. CortDev's current project is the redevelopment of the St. Hubert airport in Montreal

Got it!

As soon as I get more hard info, I'll post it.

Now, for the fingerprinting...got to look more into it. For me, the acquisition of Cortdev is the key.

Good night.

Do we have shareholders of 'long' record here?? Those shareholders should of course NOT sell today as they will receive spinoff shares from the reverse merger. Most of us new or 'fairly' new holders of PAVP will most probably not get these spinoff shares. Anyway... Management will give more details on Tuesday.
Frankly, it's not easy deciding what to do between now and next Tuesday. There ARE other great buys out there today also... due for sharp rises next week (ADPR). Emunahstock provided a good one yesterday (WGFL).
Ride free? Probably the most sensible thing to do. Proper risk/reward management.
Lol... this morning would NOT be a good time for mouse to break!! (Think about the millions of times you'll be clicking 'refresh' screen)
Happy clickin'!
salemm.

You have do your DD. But, and don't take my advice without behing very carefull, if many Pink company can go up to a nickel (not saying it will) with huge dept and no cash in the bank, why not this one.

But, again, that is only an overexited prediction and we all know that emotion should never be the judge when investing in stock.

Have a good day.

Here's a thought about the shell they bought...what about PCRC? Wishfull thinking on my part, but look at the volume they had recently, a couple weeks ago...

would be nice. I'm just curious as to how many spinoff shares we'll get...and who will get them. I bought 50k on 2/25, and 40k more on 3/03...not too many shares, but I'll take the profit...

I said yesterday that it would go up strong, level off as people sell. Now we can just wait and see if peole want to buy at these levels. With more great news next week I would find it hard to believe that people are not buying.

Hippo, I think the same way as you. There will be a lot of sell off from people who have waited for news and were frustrated.
