Companies put out PRs for a lot less stuff than this, what did JA do. They working for the CIA now, all classified top secret stuff. What happened to all our theorists on the big connections these guys have. Some of them should be writers selling novels instead of trading stocks. The little Rufus doesn't know anybody.

I just got in from vacation in Gatlinburg. Good to be home. Sooo glad to see we are still in the teens. I was worried to see sub penny land with no news after the new year. Looks like I haven't missed anything. Except no guts are talking to me. I'd love a PM from somewith with guts. Happy belated New Year!!

I can't remember if I posted this on the board already but since we are talking shorts, there has been a lot of discussion regarding whether penny stocks can be shorted. Well Lo and Behold here's a list of shortable stocks through Interactive Brokers.

something that I find interesting...on my time and sales from yesterday 16:01:25 a "transaction" of 19200 shares for .15 and there are a few that are 20K and higher through out the day....those seem to be rather large orders for something trading on the greys...aren't they?

Driver---I successfully accessed the SONGWI website earlier this week, on Sunday (12/31) or Monday (1/1) (sorry to be non-specific as I do not recall exactly, I was just browsing to see if the CSHD and CSHD shareholder sites had any changes). But I now get: "This Presentation is not currently Active. Please contact the sender for more information. Thank you. www.presentationengine.com" I would surmise that either it is down for changes or that the site has been de-activiated. I hope it is the former. GLTA

That's tough. You can't win or lose. Or in winning you also lose. Tough spot but of course you won't be disappointed just have to cheer for the winner from today on.

The list is long but there are some stocks that aren't shortable. THe main purpose of posting is the fact that here is confirmation that penny stocks can be shorted. I think we can now put that issue to bed.

OT: Go Colts! Man it hurt to watch such a bad game. Neither offense showed up for the first half, and the Chiefs barely showed up at all. Glad it is over. GO Colts! GO CSHD! and any other long shots out there.

OT: Jenna ~ worked out the way it should have. The Colts had the needed wins in regular season and deserved a post season, Chiefs only got in after a final season win against Jacksonville and three losses by other teams in the AFC. Denver, Pitsburg, and Tennesee all lost on New Years Eve along with the Chiefs final win.
People in Kansas City were going nutts on New Years after the Denver overtime loss to San Fran.
My Chiefs need to rebuild their offensive line for next year. It is just that simple. Go Colts! Peyton needs a Super Bowl this year. They are losing alot of good players next year.

OK, here's some more "good stuff" on NSing and who is really doing it...
i (and it seems everybody else?) have had a difficult time sorting out who is responsible for the actual "creation" of the "counterfeit" shares, but i am sure that the only ones who can VERIFY the existence/validity of a share is YOUR BORKER.
“Phantom” stock shares lead to civil suit
By Wayne Jett Pasadena Star-News June 16, 2006
Two class action lawsuits filed by hedge funds in Manhattan federal court indicate major problems in U.S. stock markets. The hedge funds blame big brokerage firms for failing to deliver shares of stock "sold short" by the hedge funds. The problem: buyers who paid for shares didn't get the stock, but don't know it.
The hedge funds - Electronic Trading Group LLC and Quark Fund LLC - say they were swindled by their "prime brokers," including Merrill Lynch, Banc of America Securities, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup, Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley. ETG and Quark allege their prime brokers conspired to charge very high fees for securities lending services and to fail-to- deliver (FTD) shares required by law for "short sale" purposes.
In separate suits, ETG and Quark allege the conspiracy also defrauded other hedge funds in the same way over a period of years. They ask the court to certify a class of all such hedge funds so all may recover damages.
The prime brokers may implicate the hedge funds in the FTDs. But filing of the suits is unlikely unless many shares sold remain undelivered.
If that is true, many buyers have paid for shares they never received from short-selling hedge funds. Some of these buyers have resold the shares to others, not knowing they had no shares to deliver. Hedge funds have billions in assets and are active traders. The number of "phantom" shares may be very large.
How this could occur in the heavily regulated U. S. securities markets is unclear. SEC regulations require shares to be delivered within three days after trade (T+3), when funds are paid (cleared) and shares delivered (settled). Most clearing and settling is done through Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC), a private firm organized and controlled by the securities industry.
SEC regulations permit shares to be "sold short" o

What does all the naked shorting have to do with Conversion Solutions claiming billions in bonds and not proving ownership when neccessary? Thats all that matters to me right now.

Since it was a toppic of disccussion throughout the threads and there isn't anything else to report concerning CSHD. A little update doesn't hurt anything. Something to occcupy time until the company decides to let us in on what is happening.

Thanks Wally! Yes, we need something to pass the time AND remember shortsellers were one of the reasons we bought this to begin with.
I'm curious though, I wonder if there are more shorts now at .13 than there were before?

I would think that most of the short interest has covered by now. When this first started out as FHAL I believe we were in the 8 to 10 cent range. I doubt there was much of a short position at that point. Those that were able to short at a higher PPS, you would think would take the profit and cover. No shorts aren't the problem anymore. Look at the last post from Jenna. the 82% difference shows that most have already covered.
And to think all it took was an SEC investigation and delisting to take care of the short covering problem. Go figure.
That means that all those nasty shorts that Glassman keeps crying about - 82% of them have covered... no more short position, no more short squeeze.
hey repo...
we know theres a problem with FTD's... i have no problem with legal shorting... the threshold failure to deliver stocks are listed every day by the NASD... right here: http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/aspx/regsho.aspx
in case you need reminding? the FTD threshold was exceeded on CSHD for weeks...
there is a big difference between FTD (naked shorts) and regular shorts... BTW? you need to get away from the dishonesty thing. it'll come back to haunt you...
