my 13-yr old son had major 24 withdrawal too - he lost all interest in any other show or any kind of movies/dvd's. the one show he did get interested in and we watched was alias - although i have to say that season 2 was the only one i found to be very good, the rest i could take or leave. of course, that could have something to do with my being in love with lena olin. firefly is about the only series i enjoyed more than 24.
i have to admit - as cheap as i am (heck, i drove a 1989 station wagon up until last week!), i couldn't get by with just B+W tv. a big group of friends always converges football saturdays in the fall to my house to watch games and we're addicted to HD/bigscreen.
i also like directv because i can plop the dish on top of the roof of my car for all-day tailgates at the golf course for every home Michigan game. i tried to get "osubucks" to come up for the UM/OSU tailgate last year - he should've come, given the (ugly, for me) outcome!

Blue, you boys. Boys and their toys, gurls and their curls!
Different perspective here. During my childhood, until electricity was brought into our rural area, we just had Grandpa's AM radio, which he hooked up to a six volt car battery. Every Sunday, fire and brimstone preaching out of Del Rio, Texas, for us to listen. Sunday was our only day off from work.
Sometimes, late at night, us kids would sneak into the front room, switch his radio station and listen to Green Hornet and other very old radio shows. After several butt switchings, we learned to turn the dial back to Del Rio before shutting off his radio.
Grandma would catch us, sometimes, but she would just grin and tell us to be very quiet.
Our first television, late Sixties, was a huge monster, very heavy, with a six inch screen! All black and white. That is when I became addicted to Star Trek and took a strong interest in reading books, especially science fiction.
Know what? Sitting there watching Star Trek, in black and white, eventually led me to earning a doctorate in English; Creative Writing.
Yes, Captain Kirk, you made a difference.
Suppose I am longing for the Good Old Days of black and white television along with vinyl rock n rock albums. Have over six-hundred vinyl albums in my collection, all mint or never opened! Afraid to play them, though.

Today was very predictable, see if they learned how to do a proper PR yet. Otherwise the green won't last very long.

The chart is looking interesting. I have a bunch of shares left that didnt go through on a 1.11 sell order. Dont forget all to put all or none when the PPS is moving And no matter how much I like a company or the people who invest in it when it runs I sell

guys this post is hilarious and found it on HSM. this excerpt is my favourite
Grade 'A' Basher: If you post lots of old news, respond to all positive posts with a negative side. Never respond to being called a Basher, never post on another board with same alias. Can spend up to 80 hours a week Bashing a stock.
Grade 'B' Basher: Very good way with words, always claims to be your "friend" taking the positive poster into confidence, never posts on another board, spends about 60 hours a week.
Grade 'C' Basher: Spends less time than the others but is somewhat effective and gets a C grade due to getting excited when Bashers rules say not to get excited, spends about 40 hours a week.
Grade 'D' Basher: Needs to learn the basics about being convincing when making a negative statement. Spends a good amount of time working the stock, maybe 20 hours a week.
Grade 'F' Basher: A complete idiot, most readers are not convinced he knows anything about stocks in general. The type that says a stock "sucks", but gives no rationale, shows up every so often but no regular schedule.

(1) Our Articles of Incorporation were amended to change our name to The North-West Oil Group, Inc.; and
(2) Our Articles of Incorporation were amended to increase our capital stock to 1,000,000,000 shares of common stock.
Name change and stock increase. No restricted stock... quite the opposite in fact.
