anybody got insight into this? I can't make head nor tails...

I see some have left this thread. And as a newbee in search of input have found other sites and everyone has their own opinions. I listen to both sides with emphasis on those who have the experience. Here is mine, I see many of the out. shares 200 - 300m going pretty quick to another joint venture and then more for legal and other stuff. I don't see mis-representation anywhere in this merger. I do see NDOL does not have the control (correct me if I have it backwards). My prediction is that this will have a heavy volume increase and while it may dip to .32 or even .29, it may finish above .36. This is the turning point. I put my funds somewhere else so I'm putting in a paper buy at .32. I'll keep an eye on this for my own training. GLTA

Boodog, optimism? educating yourself? never can hurt. Hey let me make a suggestion..Spend some time working the big board stocks....Tons of transparancy..News that is in most cases is buisness wire, not questionable and payed profile sites..learn what makes a company hold up under market fluctuations...
The sad sad truth of trading in the Pinks is the vast majority of folks wind up as bagholders..Bulletin Boards are the life blood of the pinks, and as you have learned, they can be a dicey proposition at best.

No doubt dust. My retirement is already taken care of so this is all extra. When it builds enough to make buys in the 2 - 5 $ range worthwhile I'll be switching most of it over.

Some morning comments from a popular pump & dump stock discussion website,
___
"In case you were concerned about the 1 billion shares, I am reposting to clarify. It is NOT a negative - it is positive."
"8k is restoring investor confidence....go baby go!"
"Great 8-K today/yesterday now....the bashers really expose themselves for the boiler rooms they work for"
"finished reading most of the other boards covering NDOL....all but one (allstocks) was very positive. But All stocks has a cadre of very capable bashers. But everyone knows who they are. they seem to be the only ones that post on that board."

Purl - looks like this is going to fly for a bit until the rest of the post merger filings hit. Then we should see what shape they are in. My concern is a ruskie controled US stock. Its a pipe dream to get india in on this. we'll see what the pull back is here in a few.

They are about to get beat out by Sinopec and Rosneft. They say the price is inflated, but 2.5-4 billion for 1 billion barrels is not an inflated price IMHO.

I have been reading up on this deal to buy mineral rights in some place with a name which hurts your mouth when you try to pronounce the name.
Appears to me NDOL / North West / India are about to pay far too much for those rights.

"They say the price is inflated, but 2.5-4 billion for 1 billion barrels is not an inflated price...."
This depends on a bidding company's ability to extract oil and turn a profit.
I would discount some of those barrels as not being economically viable for extraction.
NDOL / North West exhibit they are just barely able to break even on oil extraction, especially true with NDOL. Both exhibit low production amounts suggesting neither are prepared for a project of this size. Both are below junior league which leads me to question why they are trying to buy major league mineral rights.
Current known information strongly suggests NDOL / North West have no employees nor have any company owned drilling rigs and equipment. Information indicates they only own mineral rights, none of which were paid for with cash; high debt for those rights.
All of this is in keeping with bringing an India oil company for extraction.
Based on NDOL / North West being new companies with no direct experience in oil extraction, I question if they have the expertise to correctly assess the reserve value and question if they have the ability to extract oil and turn a decent profit.
My opinion is they are getting in over their heads.

The 8K will not help the PPS now. The damage has already been done. It will take a long time before we see 2 plus dollars. I'm glad they didn't take the 2.17, I like the .30-.40 range better.
Interesting notion is NDOL is truly no longer. NDOL is now in the hands of and under the control of North West, a company about which people know very little, other than North West produced a lot of dishonest pump and dump news.

One thing that impressed me on the 8-K financials was that the consolidated retained earnings as of 3/31/06 was $92,924,491. Another item is that intangible assets are listed at $99,402,604. I assume this is the intrinsic net value of the company's lease agreements.
There are so many pink sheet companies that have hardly any revenues and show a deficit in retained earnings running into the millions. The 8-K figures indicate this to be a very sound investment, indeed.
Many here have noted misprints on PRs, and the same occurs on the 8-K. On the consolidated interim income statement for the first quarter of 2006, it is stated that the Net Income/(Loss) per common share is $2,803,903. This is actually the company's first quarter Net Income. No figure is given for earnings per share. I am very surprised that such an important error was not picked up by the auditing firm. There are other smaller mistakes as well, but not significant enough to be mentioned here.

they need the bil. share for expansion 300m here or there, once this gets rolling with the pr's and they get over this short rush, which could send it up into the .80 range it should die back down (who knows how far) until they actually show production....IMHO

Blue! 24 is my current most favorite. Jack and Chloe are my favorites! They kick butt!
Such a cliff hanger, season ends with Bauer in the cargo hold of a Chinese ship, all beat to heck.
I am having withdrawl fits, no 24!
I have taken to watching reruns of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis to ease my pain.
Nearly died when "Enterprise" came to an end.
Blue, you of all people will appreciate this. Despite our money, we have only one television in the house and it is equipped with old fashion rabbit ears! No cable, no Direct TV, just plain old fashion seven channels of commercial tv.
I would be happier, though, if television was still broadcast in black and white.
