They put a good spin on this, and it is good to see the recovery this morning. I am surprised this was not put out after the viewing as that would have done much for damage control and investor confidence. The PR loosely outlines plans to start a teathered testing regime at San Bernadino. While not the move to Edwards that was clearly stated in previous PR's, I think it would have met the "spirit" of beginning the testing phase. Along with a detailed discription of adminstrative hurdles that have to be met to obtain testing clearance, this would have done much better yesterday.
Guess you missed this part about Edwards... "Sanswire plans to do tethered test outside of the hanger at its current location at San Bernardino Airport, California to validate the structural integrity and to collect needed data. After the test, the airship will be transported to the Palmdale secured hangar next to Edwards Air force Base. These tests will in no way delay the process already underway to clear the airship for flight on the test range at Edwards."
Guess you also didn't get that personal call from Tim Huff outlining the exact parameters of the tehtered test like the rest of us

It may be too early to say , but it does look like the whiners , bashers and limp wristed investors have egg on their face now , maybe , because it's making a bit of a recovery , after the supposed " disaster " .
By the way , that rant was meant for another message board , sorry about that , but some of it can apply to this forum , some people just don't have the stomach for these types of things , i bought yesterday when everyone selling , that selloff didn't fool me , it was all started from rumors and people expecting a 100 percent jump because the unveiling .
I'm sure the MMs planned to short this thing , and saw this event as the perfect opportunity , well , they are laughing right now at the people that sold yesterday .

No , freak it , it's going to tank , it's a scam , the strat is a fantasy , huff is clueless , it will be in the mid teens by tmorrow , i'm selling , it's not at a dollar yet , like i thought it would be , i still can't retire yet , it's only a dead cat bounce , they will never get to the Amex .................... .
Just remember though , the MMs will play with this as long as they can , they will look for any way to shake people out and make cash by shorting , so if you can make a bit of a profit , remember that , take it , if you so desire , then jump back in when they bring it down , don't think it never will , that's another fear altogether , swinging .

Pagan (and others if it applies), Let me say that this should be read in a conversational tone. I do not take posts personal as this is a discussion board to expose and explore the different perspectives. With that beig said, you really need to step back from this and look at it from a different angle - some are investors and others are traders. Me, I have positions both ways in GTEL. Investors are safe and yesterday even presented a fantastic buying opportunity. As such, I do have a bit of concern about points I made after the viewing. You are not obligated to share those concerns, but one's emotional attachment to a stock should not be the basis for their investing strategies. Disagreement is also the basis from which a discussion is created and is good to further everyone's knowledge and awareness of a positiion. Traders, on the other hand, were not treated so well yesterday. Take this post from a PR that was released on the 15th of March:
"The timeline would look like this: a public viewing of the airship on the 11th and 12th of April, the airship would then be transported to Edwards after clearance from the FAA with a pilot on board in the following week. Once at Edwards, we would then work with the Air Force to determine a window for launch that would most likely be in the last two weeks of April."
This is quite different from what many took away from the view on Tuesday and this from this mornings PR:
"Sanswire plans to do tethered test outside of the hanger at its current location at San Bernardino Airport, California to validate the structural integrity and to collect needed data. After the test, the airship will be transported to the Palmdale secured hangar next to Edwards Air force Base. These tests will in no way delay the process already underway to clear the airship for flight on the test range at Edwards."
Further, while I might not have heard this being mentioned at the viewing (nor in my phone call from Tim Huff - *JOKE*), I did not see any other posters outlineing this plan. This idicates to me that it was NOT made clear on Tuesday. I feel it was the expectations from the March PR that caused traders to get in and the delays (an plumetting price) that drove those positions out. My post of early this morning simply states that had the content of this morning's PR been made clear at the viewing and the PR had come out Tuesday night, Wednesday might not have been so ugly. From a trading perspective, these inconsistancies are cause for MY concern as they severely impact the short-term prices as was evidenced by yesterdays movement. Look, you do not have agree with me. As stated, there is great benefit to having varying opions here. I just call it like "I" see it and as such open myself up to debate. Please limit your emotional outbursts to Private Messages as it serves no constructive purpose and wastes space on the publicly viewed board. Further, and do not take this personal, it demonstrates that your objectiveness might be clouded by emotion and therefore you views serves only to bolster other like opinions. I can sit in front of a mirror and get that. Good luck to all. INVEST well, TRADE well, even though at times they take you in diverging directions.

phrogger is correct...the unveiling could have been PRed better...engineers and govt officials(except the FDA ) don't care about the PPS of a stock on any given day
i think a lot of people (in this one) are also unaccustomed to just how vicious the OTCBB market is...
there really are very few INVESTORS interested in penny stocks...

Ya I heard a friend making jokes about that too after listening to the NPR story. Pretty annoying (the NPR story and not my friend).
