After watching the bloodbath today and scroling through the treads here I have not seen one person state the obvious reason for the sell of today imo....
....Buy on the news and sell on the facts....
This simple adage kept me out of this stock because of all the hype leading up to the unveiling. Sopmetimes the adage holds true and sometimes it does not. Seems here that it did.
Still cant wait to get in. Much respect to the experienced people here that help people like me with all this.

Can't speak for anyone else in my case it's called greed, that's why I rode a roller coaster down. Bought in at.08, watched ago to .365, got out but got back in. It was not lack of news nor was it poor news. Pure and simple greed. I may be wrong but when the stock goes five times from its bottom it's time to leave. Believe me I will from now on.

I told you so ,,,I told you so... I am so sick of these guys that know it all after the fact..if they were half as good as they think they are they would be so rich they would not be wasting time here trying to save us little guys that know nothing...forget them and do what you want when you want..live with yourself.. i have made a ton on GTEL riding it up and down through good and bad.

Good luck all.
I think you mean buy on the rumor, sell on the news
which in this case would of been to late. You needed to sell before the news.

Dustoff, he's right. Considering the actions of today we might as well say we're starting over. Glassman made some excellent remarks about the MM's loading up. Today was no accident or fluke!
Let me pass this by you. When we go to the AMEX we get rid of the MM's. GTEL is making them alot of money if they play it right. If we play the MM's game it'll make all of us the same kind of money. Since we have no choice until the AMEX move we might as well prosper.

crusader30...I still think the move to the AMEX is a bit hasty..I also believe that GTEL's public relation's team needs some tuning up...But what the heck,, what company does'nt need some TLC in the PR department..I know I come accross in a glib manner concerning the AMEX issue ,but people just need to think that issue thru..I don't want to go into great detail about the AMEX at this time, because tensions are running to high.
As far as glassman goes,,I think I see sarcasm in many of the things he says where others may not....The RSI issue has been a game ball for many days now...
Putting your faith in the RSI as a panegyric solution to all lifes troubles while trading in stock securitys,,is one of the departures from reality I am talking about!!I am positive glassman would concor....I have a 300+ mi drive in the morning ,might even do a little fishing. Good luck to all trading tommorrow...Give um hell.
P.S crusader...I do like the trading stratagy your talking about...Just got the edit in on time regarding the P.S

crusader30...OK, now you really got me thinking..What a play is sitting right in front of us on the open..Going back thru what happened yesturday, I can see where this thing could really pull a wip lash on us today...There very well could be a nice run up and then selloff in the afternoon...It has set this pattern before ,why not again..Just using nite as an example,,nite is gambling on a substantial surge up, and then a selloff, he wins both ways....Got to agree with ya,,old whyly Glassman might be on to something...Wish I could be here today because this is going to get very interesting...

Good Morning everyone. Reading through the thread I see alot of speculations, worry, and thoughts of why the stock went South yesterday. I, personally, have faith in what GTEL is trying to do. I, personally, think that they will (with the talent they have working for them) find a way to do it. Probably with delays, and probably with engineering modifications. This is the leading edge of an 'old concept' taken beyond where it has ever been before. Are there risks? Yes, certainly. I think if this was a 'done deal' with no risks the stock would be worth around $ 200 a share. There's been multiple government and military branches that are closer to the airship development than me that have faith in it. Since I still believe GTEL will find a way to do what they have planned, I'm staying invested in them. I do understand if others 'flip' the stock to take profits or get more stock; that's just not my style. I'm just holding long and hoping the general investing community will eventually see the potential of this company (not just the stratellite) but the entire company.

The PR says quite a bit. It says a lot of things that Huff and co should have known before and apparently didn't. I don't see this PR as helping much today. Last minute design changes, governmental approval processes...
Huff said before that the damn thing would be tethered and in the air for the demo, then people show up to see a partially constructed erector set. I am an engineer and I understand why. The problem is the CEO does not understand the engineering principles and the process for taking this project cradle to grave.
He should have been more careful about what he said before and needs to keep that lesson in mind for the future.
Long 40K shares so let's keep our fingers crossed.

You are right...The mistakes were made months ago when they gave bad information. I can tell by the wording that they were up late and they learned a lesson...It is going to be a long hard road with delays, not a 2 to 3 month project...They kind of now outline that in this PR. I think the big diffrence for Huff is that he hired a bunch of people, after he set his expectations, that have now put him back into reality. He has pros now that will keep him out of trouble and in the office.

I am going to watch to see if this dips early today, I may buy back in to flip some shares for the next two months that we'll be waiting for S1 to launch. I think the price will do pretty much the same thing before the excitement began about the viewing last week. We'll probably start seeing the regular early morning dips again and the price will probably hit below .2-.15 before launch. When June comes around though, we'll see the price gradually climb back up.
Who knows, maybe we could see some photos released early when S1 is completed? That would drive our price up. Maybe we'll see them around the middle, or early May. I'm hoping for some early photos. That could be another over .3 day for us. That's about all that I think will drive up our price between now and when S1 is being moved to EAB.
I think I'll start using the old RSI rule from now on. If you can not beat all those that sold early on Friday, we might as well join them and take our profits.

I'm back in with half my shares...made a little profit....I received a web promo from matrixtrader@taipangroup.com , "Robot Planes". He's actually laughing at the whole concept and extremely negative. I don't know how much weight he swings in the investment community...I'm sure he would have laughed at the automobile in 1904 as he rode away on his old mare....

well said Glass...That is why I was not let down yesterday or jumped ship. My expectations were that this kind of thing is going to happen..and it will happen again..Delays and red tape...That is what we have coming but the future is still GREEN.

well, I bailed out 38k at .271 but bought back in at .255 with 40k more shares. I guess I only skipped some, but not all, of the fall yesterday. However, I'm loving it seeing green this morning. I just had a feeling it would adjust back up.

Little better feel this morning but I wouldn't hold out much hope that it will go much higher than .26 today and will probably drop back down to close to about where it ended up yesterday.

Morning all, Back in the office today. I guess if your stock is going to tank, you might as well go flying. They put a good spin on this, and it is good to see the recovery this morning. I am surprised this was not put out after the viewing as that would have done much for damage control and investor confidence. The PR loosely outlines plans to start a teathered testing regime at San Bernadino. While not the move to Edwards that was clearly stated in previous PR's, I think it would have met the "spirit" of beginning the testing phase. Along with a detailed discription of adminstrative hurdles that have to be met to obtain testing clearance, this would have done much better yesterday.
