We've discussed before that the share structure needed to change before a move onto the big boards. This is a positive move. Something SIRI should have done as well.
The problem is determining what will happen to the pps right after the split. I think it will pop a little (like for 2-4 hours on the 18th)and then crash hard and inch its way up until the launch. That is a complete guess though.

this morning I was soaring with the eagles right now I feel like a praire chicken...
15/1 rs means 1 bill shares turns into 66666666 shares (do the math)

RS + moving to AMEX. Should be interesting.
Your typical penny trader is not going to like it though because they like larger positions: 1500 @ 10 cents is better than 100 shares @ 1.50 in their minds.
I suspect it will be pretty volitile for the next 2 weeks. As an investor that means I should wait for the dust to settle and get in once the price stabalizes and strap in for the launch. As a swing trader I see the opportunity to make some cash if the peaks and valleys can be read -- but honestly that seems pretty risky given all the factors going on here.
My choice is to sit out and wait to see how the AMEX pps looks after a couple days.

i started watching the amex a few months ago when they started talking about it....amex stocks move very little...
also we penny investers don't like r/s but i did see one that worked... I use to think all r/s were bad but i saw one that went well... i will post the symbol in a minute.

frpt had a 12/1 r/s and now the price is in the 2 dollar range...this is the only successful r/s i have seen...

Just can't believe the timing of this R/S announcement. After we finally get some good PR that ACTUALLY increases the stock price, GTEL decides to come out with the R/S announcement which will put the stock into the tank for a few months. We will be lucky if the stock stays above .20 tomorrow. BE PREPARED for some very rough times ahead until the launch. If I get a chance I'm going to sell and lock in a little profit and probably buy back within the next few weeks when the stock bottoms out. The move to AMEX may be a good long term move but they probably would have been better off with the NASDAQ.

take a look at frpt and analysis it... if i remember the price was .16 then 12/1 with a symbol change I think... I remember the investors defending the r/s...
these frpt'ers were like qbiders...frpt builds an explosive proof truck that is called a buffalo and it can drive right over a road side bomb... it is spectacular....
if the gtel investor is as faithful then we will have a price increase tomorrow.
all the other r/s i know of the price went to .0001

Classic ,do the r/s into good news...The root problem here is management......A good house cleaning may be in order....These guys in the pr dept. IMO are doing buisness like reckless amateurs.....It's up to the Airship now to carry the load.......
