How do we know they know anything? All of you have hit every possible news that's out there, what else could there be? I still see no pr from gtel on ameritrade or pinksheets. Shouldn't they come out with results of unveiling? I don't have Level II so what's going on?

You don't want to look at the Level II - it'll ruin whats left of your day for sure. Looks like lots of selling pressure down to .22 at least.

it's still dropping, no reason other than people had high expectations, and they don't want to wait...

Anybody here tired of the crying? If ya'll don't want your shares I'll take um. Ever looked at siri. Went from nothing to 80.00 back to nothing in a month. We have something here. Something amazing. 1 little bad day and everybodys crying. Just sit back, buy more, wait, and retirement is near. Use this as a way of buying more shares. I'm not happy but I'll be smiling soon enough. GLTA hunt

I don't think anyone on this board expected them to fly *yesterday*, but rather within a couple months.
Honestly Glass, looking back at the chart and correlating that with the news timeline, how would you price this stock given the news out yesterday?
Do you think multiple delays and a wireframe can support more than 25 cents? I don't. The big question is, can it support 20 cents?
Even though I am dissapointed with the drop today, it feels right. I just wish I had the balls to go with that instinct yesterday morning.

You do realize that Globetel Communications has many other revenue generating businesses? They tripled revenues from last year. They are projected to be turning a profit by 2Q. They are involved in VOIP, carrier traffic, money transfer, debit cards, etc.. And all without any revenues from the stratellites.
The people panicking are the ones who never did any real DD into the company...they never got past the Strat IMO

i think that SIRI is overpriced at 5$... why did it run to 9$ ?
mutliple delays happen all the time...
look at the shuttle and what happened when people rushed it....
there is no way to value the comapany right now, that's why it's so volatile...
however, i didn't expect to trade down this far on this much volume...

This is a good stock probably for long term. They pumped this stock a lot on the Yahoo Sirius message boards almost all the time.
New tech is a bit uncertain. I think that the satellite radio is more of a sure thing, since everyone listens to music. Sirius just needs the subs and then it will fly big again. They also have better management with Mel on board. The deals he made already are amazing.
I might add GTEL later in year. The move to the American exchange is not good though. Those stocks get very little volume on there. I would like it on the Nasdaq one day like Sirius did.

This is a long term position, maybe years, but there is money to be made here. I for one have learned a valuable lesson the past 1 1/2 years. Set your trading guide lines for yourself and stick to them, do not be persuaded by other people who make you start doubting yourself and your trading guide lines. I am referring to the people who get on a good stock and then post 20 or 30 times a day with wishful thinking and wild predictions. Some times it is just enough to make you not pull the trigger and it has cost me thousands of dollars. but no more. Perhaps these people should find a hobby instead of playing kids games on these information threads.

Peaser, you are the only one who has voiced a thought similar to one I had last night. You have to ask the question - "Why would GTEL present their "lady" half dressed? I wondered too if it's because they didn't want to show their full hand to the competition. They have spent quite a bit of time developing a global market but maybe they need a little more time. Piracy is a very big reality in business. AND then... looking at the madness today - close to a volume of 95 million- you have to ask, "Who's selling and why?" and "Who's buying and why?" You think it's possible that GTEL purposely did not make a big splash with the showing so that certain people (maybe business connections ie: in Mexico, Europe and else where could buy into the business when smaller fry got scared and sold? I don't know if this is true but if today's trading scenario calls for anything, it's thinking outside the box.

I have to say this.....I am even more surprised there was no PR this AM at 8:30. The prior PR states there would be a PR on the 13th. After bringing the lady to the showing half dressed as ladybird so aptly states, I would have thought they would at least be prompt with the PR.
I'll stop now....just venting

I am a little surprised about the lateness of the PR as well. But as Ladybird said...think we need to think outside the box. I too think there are things transpiring that we are unaware of. But I would be leaning towards the thinking that they are good things...nothing of the nefarious sort IMO.

it makes no sense for a company to force it's own stock down... it makes more sense for short positions to be covered, i suspected there might be some from last week, BUT. i think the selling continued so long today that it doesn't really matter...

All I missed was a flip today. Had I know I would of sold all yesterday and bought back today...but you know what I did not know, so all I am really out at this point is the extra shares (about 20000 at the high and low) but the reality is that another time I thought it was going down I flipped it and it took off and I lost 20,000 shares....It is all just part of the game. I am still in and will be in until they make it or break it. Until then it is just trying to add to my position. Down today and up next time.....

Credibility is a big issue here. Huff looks like a chooch to me. He stated they would shoot for an April launch? Please. Way too many hurdles for that to be realistic. And where is today's update?

Ten minutes 'til closing and volume is 101 mil. I just looked at GTEL's volume history for the past month. The only day that comes close to today is 3/17 - the day after Barry Reed was hired - 76,452,200. Shares were .252.
The second largest volume was on 4/8 - 46,875,700 at .36 a share.
Who the hell is buying?
