Most are selling some and holding some for possible much higher share price.
Outstanding shares are still around 40 Million and if ALMI is able to keep the share count under 60 Million and gets more deals for there clay, and more NANO Clay news this could go much higher.
Atlas Mining CEO Speaks Directly to Shareholders in Open Letter Thursday January 27, 1:46 pm ET
OSBURN, Idaho, Jan. 27 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Atlas Mining Company (OTC Bulletin Board: ALMI - News), speaks directly to shareholders today in an open letter from CEO, William T. Jacobson. The letter to shareholders can be read in its entirety by visiting the following URL:
"Our primary goal this past year was to put the Dragon Mine into production. If it weren't for the dedication of very loyal Atlas employees and shareholders, with the same desire to make this a reality, we would not have gotten as far as we have," said Mr. Jacobson.
"Our continued efforts to promote the Dragon halloysite clays in the micro- and nano-tubular area have been received well. We have been told by at least one major manufacturer that our product is the product of choice for their insecticide and mite-icide products. Our product is also being tested as a fertilizer component due to its time-release aspects," explained Mr. Jacobson.
"Our contracting entity, Atlas Fausett Contracting, has helped us keep the cash flow going and helped with the progress we have made at the Dragon Mine. Although we have pulled some of our top people off the contracting projects to help us get the Dragon Mine into production, our miners on the contracting side have made up for it. Our year-end revenues will be over $750,000 compared to $304,851 for 2003," stated Mr. Jacobson.
"We thank you for your support. It is the shareholder who helps make the company, and we will continue to work on your behalf," concluded Mr. Jacobson.

Just wanted to stop back by the place where I was first introduced to this stock by Purl Gurl and say thanks.
My first buy was at .12 and I continued to accumulate as the price rose to .20. Averaged in at .17, haven't sold a share yet and I'm a very happy camper.
If you do happen to stop by here PG, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your efforts in researching and introducing us to this stock.

I think almi will have its day to prove these are "real" prices; however, i think a correction is on its way. It also could very well stay in the .60's for awhile and build a nice base there. Since I don't have as many shares as I would like: I'm holding all in the "investment" mind set. Not going to try trade any corrections. Holding for now.
Sure is nice to see mention of revenues comming from different areas in the company. I makes it easier to keep the number of shares right where they are.
honestly, i have no clue which way it will go next week. i was *sure* it would drop friday: there were 16 MM's on the ask at .80 or below at 9am, and only 3 on the bid above .70. but - astoundingly, the last 10 min pre-open it turned around and it gapped to .80/.81! it displayed amazing strength, to hold the weekly gains and even advance a little more on friday.
because i have no idea which way it will go, and because i'm generally a chicken and a hedger - i split the difference: sold some, held some. neither .55 nor $1 close next friday would surprise me, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to this stock: expect the unexpected.
atlas seems destined to hit $1 eventually, the only question is - how many bumps and dips along the way, and how long will it take? personally, i have no idea: could be 2 hours on monday morning, could be 2 years. i suspect it may well be a swing-traders dream come true next week, but - i've been wrong so often that ALMI's trading patterns that - who knows! should be fun to watch. i know i'll be buying back on dips.

Based on it's historic trend, I've dropped out. I'll pick it up later to be sure, but I am/was expecting it to mull around between .7/.8 for a month or two. Seeing how it has been going up much faster than in the past, this may be a new trend. GL on monday, guys!

well, this part was definitely true so far - all over the map today, can't say i'm surprised. picked up some of what i sold back up at .66 today. really hard to say what extremes this one will channel between, and of course - news tosses everything out the window. going to be interesting to watch the next few weeks. no way i'd want to be all the way out of this one, though. history has shown that is a bad idea: when you least expect it, this stock tends to shoot up.

btw, i am mainly watching NITE for trading clues. i still think NITE is the main driver of trading in ALMI - whatever NITE does, the other MM's seem to eventually fall in line, more often than not. if i see NITE move 3c above the other MM's on the bid - i buy.

Atlas Mining Takes Delivery of Continuous Mining Equipment Tuesday February 1, 8:31 am ET Underground Production Cycle Underway
OSBURN, Idaho, Feb. 1 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Atlas Mining Company (OTC Bulletin Board: ALMI - News), announces today it has taken delivery of a key piece of mining equipment. William T. Jacobson, CEO of Atlas Mining said, ''This particular piece of equipment, known as a Roadheader in the mining industry, is designed to break apart the clay bed with its front end rotation head, and then move the extracted clay out of the immediate mining area through its conveyor system.''
The equipment, officially described as the Voest Alpine F-6A track-mounted continuous miner with center discharge conveyor, has been moved underground, where it has begun a full production cycle into the underground clay bed exposed earlier by company mining personnel. Meanwhile crews are continuing the underground drive to access additional halloysite beds to complete a secondary access to the underground workings.
Because of the inclement weather at the mine this month the raw halloysite will be bagged underground, and then brought directly to the mill where it will be deposited into the hopper that feeds the KDS processor. Explained Jacobson, ''This method of underground bagging will eliminate any dangers of contaminating the product while moving it from the face of the bed to the processing system. Although this is not the most efficient method, we feel at this time, with the quality of clay we are mining we did not want to chance any contamination. We expect to be shipping finished product in rather short order,'' he concluded.

I sure hope so. I was trusting the company's value to hold the price, and now I'm going to be trusting the company's value to regain the old price. Hopefully it won't be too long of a wait. :/
On the brighter side (turning it to my advantage) it gives me more time to paper-trade some of those shooting stars we've been seeing. Maybe then I'll be able to catch one before it takes off. (The night is always at its darkest just before the dawn.)

Today, almost all of ALMI's volume is at .71/.72. Could be building for a surge. Volume so far has been typical, however. My target: .78 (20% over low of .65, and that's where the sells will stop it.)

ALMI is one i don't lose any sleep over when it has dips.
yeah, i admit i'm holding half long and swing-trading the other half, but - i still think the overall trend will be: up. a lot of my ALMI i hold in roth and coverdell ira's that won't be touched for years or decades, so - i ignore the short-term noise with my long portion of my ALMI holdings.
long-term, ALMI is still my favorite stock and #1 holdings since the .18 days. #2 changes frequently, but - as of last week, it's ETLT.

Nanotubes on plastic speed circuits February 9/16, 2005 Many groups of researchers are working to make plastic electronics that are as fast as today's silicon electronic components. Powerful plastic electronics promise to enable flexible, inexpensive and very-large area computer screens.
Researchers from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and Applied Nanotech, Inc. have moved a step forward with an electronic material that is a mix of carbon nanotubes and polymer, or plastic. Carbon nanotubes are rolled-up sheets of carbon atoms that can be narrower than a single nanometer. A nanometer is one millionth of a millimeter, or the span of ten hydrogen atoms.

A profit margin of four-hundred percent. I dunno, that is not really worth bragging about.
Heh!
Yeah, well, President Cheney and his hand puppet Bush have destroyed our economy over the past year. Not much going on in the stock markets of interest to me. A little hint of improvement now, a year later, but I think President Halliburton intends to keep us deeply involved in wars for the next four years.
That angers me and creates great sadness for all; another Vietnam.
I have switched over to increasing our real estate holdings using stock profits earned prior to this Cheney induced market crash in Feb of last year.
Besides, you should take a break from boards like this lest you pinch someone's head off for cause.

This is a time to become very nervous about ALMI.
Clearly today is a rogue run, with a gain of twenty cents per share and way over two-million shares traded. A one day run like this cannot last for long, at least I don't think so.
I am not suggesting to sell but am suggesting to not be surprised if ALMI drops ten to fifteen cents per share come Monday. Heck, ALMI might drop all the way back to eighty cents per.
Events like these make investors gnaw on their fingernails down to the wrists.
ALMI has a very bright future, I am comfortable but I keep in mind today is "wild" and may produce worrisome results early next week.
