easy way: click on "handle" of person you wish to PM; a page "about" that person will appear; several options--->"rate this member" "add to buddy list" "send private message"
another way: see the icons above a person's post? one with a question mark, one with an envelope and two peeps shaking hands? click on that one (if that's the person you wish to PM, of course...)
also, when someone sends you a messsage, you are notified by a little "you have a new private message" dealie that flashes in upper left of your screen... Look for it--I will PM you now...

beauty of a day for ALMI: up almost 10% for a 2.41 close (previous 52-week and all-time high: 2.27). took 10% off the table to fold into GACF which imho is getting quite oversold, the rest is still riding in ALMI.
mother hen is smiling right about now, no doubt.
time for a beer: ruskin, this beer i'm about to crack is in your honor. cheers!

lol Blue.. while everyone was whining about my posts on ALMI and putting their money into it after advice of "someone", I instead put my money into FHAL. it was trading around 0.145 then, and "many" were crying about it being a P&D scam. today it closed at 1.07. now, math shows thats around 700% increase in my money. so now go and crack some in my honour ! I am taking out all my profits out of FHAL on Monday. I shall join you for beer next weekend .. have a good weekend!

ruskin, not sure i'd call it "whining about your posts on ALMI". purl, myself, and many others have always welcomed and invited input both pro *and* con on stocks of interest. however, your posts included quotes such as:
"readers are adviced to dump their shares as ALMI is headed south all the way"
and
"what almi has is a pump and dump machinery which wakes up once a month.. and newbie investors get sucked in and left out with bags."
making statements like this without any kind of backup has a detrimental effect on one's credibility. they were also quite obviously a feeble and transparent attempt to try to "turn the tables" on purl after her foray into the NDOL thread.
anyway, those are at least my newbie thoughts as a 2+year ALMI-bagholder

lol* blue.. you know i dont hold anything personal against almi.. .. no one can be right about a single stock.. i genuinely thought it would fall below $2, purely based on the way it was selling off after it hit all time high.. and i now have to eat my own words .. i was wrong about ALMI.. but i still say that ALMI revenue structure does not support its current share price. you do know how it works. dont you.. heck, dbgf ran from $3 to $21 within a matter of weeks, and i kicked my ass hard for selling out at $9 for quick 100%, but now i feel happy for getting out..
IMO.. this stock runs amazingly with news.. small news gets the stock a 3 day run.. but what happens after that is anybodys guess.. but unless REAL revenues show up in financials, stock would find it hard to sustain its price.

Blue, Mother Hen is not smiling, she is grinning.
Some thoughts on this for readers.
I am very surprised ALMI has been able to maintain share prices over 2.00 per share. I have not lost any confidence in ALMI but have lost confidence in my ability to predict what will happen, especially when the next 10Q is filed.
My opinion is exactly the same as Granny's opinion and Blue's opinion. I believe Blue has this one nailed down pretty darn good. Something is going on and I agree there is a very good chance current high prices are related to share holders of other related companies are buying in knowing "something" is about to come about.
Returning to Granny and Blue, complete agreement with both on our opinion Jacobson will show a mild improvement in his bottom line and will show mild losses as in the past. This is expected and not a concern. Jacobson is rolling over his revenue into the Dragon Mine development. Mild losses are to be expected; this must be.
Mild improvement in his bottom line will, most likely, be a small amount of revenues from his crews working other mines. Those contracts came about too recently to show up much on this next financial filing, due any day. Next quarter's financial filing should show a healthy improvement in his bottom line because those two contracts will have been in full effect for more than a quarter; this quarter and the upcoming quarter.
Upon release of this coming 10Q I do expect prices to dip downward. With such surprising prices we see now and Blue's thought on why, I do not feel confident on predicting what share prices will do when the 10Q is released. I expect a dip, but how much or even if a dip, I truly do not know, just a hunch there will be a dip.
If a dip and you are interested, buy ALMI. This is a very solid company with extreme potential. This one is most certainly a winner stock.
Just be cautious because none of us can accurately predict what is to happen because of recent very surprising behavior. Traditionally, ALMI "wants" to be just below 2.00 per share, but this out the window now, with current surprising prices.
This is a very safe stock to buy and hold, for years if you like. Profits, in time, are almost a certain guarantee. Those profits will be good.
Debate my opinion, please. Prove me wrong. Nothing more I would enjoy than to be wrong. You best do this with factual verifiable information. If you harass me, I will do all I can to have you removed from Allstocks. I will not tolerate any of you harassing me.

Blue and Granny, I know I have written this before and was wrong. Nevertheless, I keep hoping. Volume for IESV is again dropping off and share price is beginning to creep upward.

Blue I think I should have waited to sell my swing shares of ALMI. Purl I got out around the same time as you did I think around 2.15. I wanted it to dip so that I could buy more to increase my long value. I guess I will be waiting for sometime. I am still holding 2/3 of my ALMI which I plan on keeping for sometime. I am at an average of about 1.20. I am hoping for a dip after the 10Q which is more likely to happen. And I will get another swing position. Loving ALMI, it always does good when everything else doesn't.

I bought NWD at 1.38 and sold at open this morning for 1.60 after the news release. Purl, I'm curious to know what your thoughts are on the market reaction to the second quarter numbers that were just released. There was a bit of a sell-off and I wanted to take profits while I had the chance so I pulled out completely. Do you think this one bounces back?

My experience is new traders, inexperienced traders and those expecting wild profits, simply do not read financial reports for comprehension.
This current report is excellent, is very much consistent with normal course of business, profit margin is narrow but there are sound reasons for this provided. NWD has a very long history, years of history for growth and profit. This is a very solid company with a good future.
This sell off? People who cannot comprehend financial reports, some profit taking.
Yeah, a rebound is in the making as real money slowly moves in. NWD is a slow mover, but always the trend in upward, in the long term.
NWD is a very long term profit maker, always has been, probably always will be.

PG- ALAN and NWD have been good for me since your call a few weeks back, turned for small 5 to 10 % profits numerous times. Thank you CHID has been good too. What are your current thoughts about NDOL and TDCP.
I am now out of NDOL, got pounded, (of course it is rebounding a little now) and still holding tight with TDCP(with a small profit cushion).
Thanks in advance

IESV volume continues to lessen, share price continues to slowly creep up. With this behavior continuing for a few days, and should this continue into the future, this will be a strong signal dilution is finished.
IESV remains on the SHO naked short list.
Blue, Granny, this is not a suggestion for a long term investment but rather a suggestion for a _possible_ long term flip.
CNCN is below .15 per today. This is a good price for this stock. I do not expect much from this company. However, when news is released, historically CNCN will move up to .20 to .23 per share quickly, then fall just as quickly. Usually these events take place over two to three days, maybe four.
Should you have some loose cash laying and do not mind having that cash tied up for a month or so, CNCN is safe flipper if you do not mind waiting for a period of time.
Looks at CNCN charts, see what you think about potential for news flipping.
NWD, today, has returned to bargin basement prices.
SUWN is again moving towards bargin prices.
Both NWD and SUWN are developing strong patterns of periodic dips and rises if you are interested in chart plays for fairly decent companies.

I am watching, as well. Current prices are about where ALMI should be excluding any externalities.
My thoughts are another dip is being manufactured for buying more shares. I noticed some trades going through below bid, and noticed, every so often, ask would fall below bid.
Hard to predict how low ALMI will be taken down with recent high prices. I am not selling, be sure, but rather looking to buy more.

Recent ALMI news I neglected to provide to readers,
OSBURN, Idaho, Aug. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dr. Ron Price, president of NanoClay and Technologies, Inc. A former research collaborator from the Naval Research Laboratory, Dr. Yuri Lvov has continued his work in the use of Nanocapsule technology and is a very productive scientist and the author of many scientific books and articles. Dr. Lvov and Dr. Price have published and patented works together in the past and intend to expand the range of intellectual property in the area of nanotechnology in an effort to further add value to NanoClay and Technologies, Inc. products.

Thanks Purl, I almost posted that yesterday, but I was too sick to give a darn.
It's nice to see that they are trying to keep the debt under control and that the losses are diminishing. Now that they have income from the contract work coming in, the next quarter should look better.
