Great news - now ALMI will not have to pay
Chester fees on the sale of the clay.

Also the Mine is now an asset on ALMI'S books,
or something like that.

Blue - I will buy more shares if I am able to free up some money

Atlas Mining Company Completes Settlement of American National Mortgage Partners Debts

By BusinessWire
Last Update: 9/7/2005 9:56:02 AM Data provided by

OSBURN, Idaho, Sep 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Atlas Mining Company (ALMI) announced today that the Company completed its requirements toward the full settlement of the American National Mortgage Partners debts owed by the Company. In January 2005, the Company had entered into a settlement agreement to pay the bankruptcy trustee its debts owed the bankrupt lender. The settlement called for a $406,000 cash payment and 175,000 shares of restricted common stock. The cash payment was made on June 30, 2005; however the completion of the final settlement by issuance of the 175,000 shares of stock was delayed while the Company and the bankruptcy trustee attempted to negotiate a cash payment in lieu of issuing stock. According to William Jacobson, President and CEO, "I thought we could entice the trustee to accept a discounted cash payment instead of stock he would be required to hold for one year. But he, too, sees our real potential and prefers to hold the shares at this time."

"We have many willing buyers."

"We expect that we will be receiving orders from this market soon."

i keep going back to these statements from last month's "letter to shareholders".

i add these in with the other indicators coming out of ALMI and Jacobson lately, like buying the dragon mine outright, purifying iron-stained clay, bringing Ron Price aboard, etc..

to me, they all add up to the fact that Jacobson feels very confident he is going to be able to sell the clay, and at a good price.

who knows, maybe he's wrong. but, i like Jacobson and i like the odds on ALMI.

Riedlinger will also describe commercial applications for halloysite nanotubes. Halloysite nanotubes are hollow tubes with high aspect ratios that are tens to hundreds of nanometers (billionths of a meter) in diameter. These applications include additives in polymers and plastics, electronic components, cosmetics, absorbents, and many other product categories. NaturalNano is making samples available to prospective customers in these industries. The unique geometry of the halloysite nanotubes enables them to be used for storing, delivering and controlling the release of various chemicals and materials making possible a wide range of commercial applications.

NaturalNano has rights to multiple issued and pending patents that cover processes, compositions, and derivatives for the nanotubes found in halloysite clay. More than 200 different commercial applications have been identified to date. The Company is also developing proprietary, patent-pending extraction, separation, and classification technologies to enable production of more uniform nanotubes to meet the higher standards required for advanced applications of the naturally occurring nanotubes. These include precise, controlled, and extended release of application-specific additives for use with cosmetics, polymers and plastics and other areas.

i don't put much faith in them, to be honest with you. but - if you believe in things like CMF and Accum/Dist graphs, has been a fair amount of ALMI accumulation going on the last several months, even though the price has stagnated. Acc/Dist is particularly interesting.

i freely admit though, i'm a fundamentals and not a technicals guy, and this is not even close to the reason why i'm holding ALMI.

listened to the presentation link, basic summary of riedlinger's comments:

halloysite tubes add more strength and increase the melt point of plastic

extend effective use time of cosmetics, due to controlled release nature of halloysite

enable nano-scale electronic components - for things like ultracapacitors

many thousand halloysite tubules fit across size of human hair

nanotech a $10M market, expected to triple by 2008, projected to be $1Tr by 2015

classifying tubes by the amount of material they can store, makes a difference in delivery timings

tubes are non-conducting, they have metallized tubules as experiments to make them conducting, for experimenting with things like for antenna for very small devices, and RF shielding, etc.

identified over 200 applications, from household products to pesticides

separation technology is to achieve a commercial-scale separation at the tonnage level (applied for patents) allows for precise control of materials inserted in or on halloysite tubes, additional treatments can be made

example: RF shielding can be achieved by adding halloysite to paint and then painting a room, ie - block cellphone signals

FDA lists halloysite and other alumina silicates as safe for human contact

collaborative agreement with ALMI on the development and implementation of the separation technology at the mine

make it to be a "drop-in component" to other products, or license out uses

"many folks right now taking on samples" of halloysite clay, "we're also doing some other tests with partners across the US and europe"

NaturalNano merger news CTTM 11/21/05 10QSB

CTTM
Item 2. Management's Discussion and Analysis or Plan of Operation
The following information should be read in conjunction with the financial statements and notes thereto appearing elsewhere in this Form 10-QSB.

Recent Events

On September 26, 2005, Cementitious Materials, Inc. entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger with NaturalNano, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The agreement contemplates that our newly created, wholly-owned subsidiary, Cementitious Acquisitions, Inc., will be merged with and into NaturalNano with NaturalNano being the surviving entity. As a result of the transaction, NaturalNano will become our wholly-owned subsidiary.

Under the terms of the merger agreement, each outstanding share of NaturalNano common stock will be exchanged for 4.4919378 shares of our authorized but previously unissued common stock common stock, resulting in the issuance 44,919,378 shares of our common stock. Pursuant to the agreement, we will also issue options and warrants for the purchase of an aggregate of 4,950,000 shares of our common stock to the holders of outstanding NaturalNano stock options and warrants, in consideration for the cancellation of such stock options and warrants. Additionally, we will issue 10,469,600 shares of our common stock in consideration for the conversion of certain NaturalNano convertible debt. As a result of these issuances, the current holders of NaturalNano common stock and convertible notes will hold, in the aggregate, approximately 92% of the total number of shares of our common stock outstanding after the merger. Upon the closing of the merger, all of our current directors and executive officers will resign and the current directors and executive officers of NaturalNano will be appointed to fill the vacancies created by such resignations.

On September 23, 2005 and in connection with the merger agreement, our board of directors approved an amendment to our articles of incorporation to (a) increase our authorized capitalization to 100 million shares of common stock and 10 million shares of "blank check" preferred stock, and (b) effective upon the consummation of the merger, to change our corporate name to "NaturalNano, Inc." Our board also approved the adoption of a new stock incentive plan permitting the issuance of up to 7 million shares of our common stock to our employees, directors and consultants. The amendment to our articles of incorporation and the stock incentive plan were approved by the written consent of stockholders owning a majority of our outstanding common stock.

Completion of the acquisition of NaturalNano will result in a change in control of our company and the assumption by us of NaturalNano's assets, liabilities and operations. We have made customary representations, warranties and covenants in the merger agreement and consummation of the merger is subject to various customary conditions. We anticipate that the acquisition of NaturalNano will be completed on or about November 30, 2005, although there can be no assurance that the transaction will be finalized.

NaturalNano is a development stage company whose primary business is processing, developing and commercializing naturally occurring nanoscale materials. Atlas Mining Company Starts Drilling Program at Dragon Mine
Wednesday January 4, 9:47 am ET

OSBURN, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2006--Atlas Mining Company (OTCBB:ALMI - News) announced today that it has started a drilling program from the new 15 degree decline tunnel at the Dragon Mine and will drill additional holes from the surface. The drilling program is designed to explore new and previously discovered areas near the main bed and to ascertain the extent of the structure to help in directing the route of the decline as it advances toward lower levels of the mine. The drilling program, conducted by Kettle Drilling, will also include surface holes near a newly discovered outcrop of halloysite on the north side of the pit wall. Geologists have located additional outcrops of halloysite near the area of the decline, which could expand into additional mineable material in that area. The tonnage in the additional areas is unknown at this point but will add to the approx. 300,000 tons already known to exist. Geologists have also been reviewing underground maps to determine the most advantageous routes for access to the halloysite beds at lower levels. According to William Jacobson, President and CEO, "It's a matter of which is the best way to access the main deposit so we can get the most out of it, and at the same time develop additional deposits." Geologists have determined that the majority of the higher grade material lies at the 300 foot level or lower. The decline has been advanced to about the 250 foot level, and the Manhattan tunnel to the south is being opened at the 300 foot level, making it possible for the two tunnels to intersect. This action will open a sizeable amount of area for future development and mining.

Does anyone know if anyone is really buying the clay for actual nanotech work, or is it still in research and development? Can ALMI break $2-3 by the end of the year?

The Shareholder message is finally out.

February 2006
Osburn, Idaho

Atlas Mining Company's Letter to its Shareholders

This past year our main goal has been the development of the Dragon Mine. We have a complete infrastructure on site. We are making improvements to it on a regular basis. The decline is being driven along side the clay bed and we have cut development slots into the bed as we progress. Although the KDS processing machine does a good job of drying and grinding our material, it was not made to separate the dirty material from the clay. The clay at the top of the bed is a little dirtier than below, so we have been working on a processing method to clean up this halloysite that we are mining. Meanwhile we are driving to the lower areas of the mine where we should find cleaner material. We are also exploring some newly exposed outcrops of material found on the surface and in the same area of the decline. The key to our ability to continue these activities was the private placement money we received from some institutional investors. With these funds we were able to pick up our pace at the Dragon Mine, and we will continue this effort until the mine is in a positive cash flow state.

Stock performance this last year has improved. We started 2005 with a stock price of $0.41 and ended the year with a price of $0.97. The price made it to $1.51 and stayed above $1.00 for quite a bit of the year. This is a long way from the $0.10 price range we had suffered with for several years. The stock performance helped bring some investors to the company and we were able to raise over $4.5 million during the year through private placements as a result. With these funds we have paid off our debts, bought the Dragon Mine and been able to ramp up our development activities at the mine. This is the first time in Atlas Mining Company’s long history that we have had adequate capital to accomplish our goals.

Another key event in 2005 was the appointment of Dr. Ron Price to the board of directors. Dr Price has been working with micro-tubular and nano-related particles at the US Naval Laboratory for a number of years. His involvement in this field has brought us together because of the unique tubular structure of our Dragon halloysite clay. We are very pleased with Dr. Price’s assistance and dedication to our company. Through his efforts, the Navy has licensed its microtubular patent to several potential users. He has been working with Nano Dynamics and NaturalNano and others to develop potential uses for our product. Nano Dynamics has indicated a strong interest in our products from a buildings materials manufacturer and a plastics manufacturer. Although our memorandum of understanding and warrant package has expired with Nano Dynamics, we still have these potential users, and will continue to work with them. Natural Nano has recently gone public and is now moving rapidly on its pursuit to find separation methods for the halloysite micro tubes. We are pleased with all this progress, and feel the many contributions to the halloysite micro tubular and nano sciences will be of great benefit to us. The researchers in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and paint and plastics industries are busy discovering new and exciting applications for our halloysite clay and its rare and unique qualities. We hope to announce additional news about these developments. Although we have not created any sales of our product in 2005, we feel that this next year will produce the results we have all been waiting for. We purposely held off on making any commitments to the conventional markets as we know the nano and micro tubular markets will soon open up for us.

Our contracting entity, Atlas Fausett Contracting, completed a job in Delta Junction, Alaska this year and has been working at the Lucky Friday Mine in north Idaho for Hecla Mining. We created approximately $630,000 in revenue in 2005 from this work with a gross margin of around 25%. We recently were awarded a major project here in north Idaho, which could more than double this revenue stream and help move us closer to a positive cash flow. We also intend to bid on other projects during the year. We have been very careful not to take manpower and equipment from the Dragon Mine as we participate in contracting work, but our ability to recruit good miners has enabled us to maintain a presence in the contracting arena. This line of work also brings us opportunities for potential acquisitions and joint ventures.

Along the lines of potential acquisitions, we have been quietly looking at other properties. As the Dragon Mine becomes self sufficient we will be ready to move to the next project. Our areas of interest are both precious and base metals in the western U.S. and Newfoundland, Canada. We think the next major mining boom in Canada will be in Newfoundland, and we are working with an exploration group there to locate and stake claims on this virtually untapped province.

The timber industry has seen some good price increases in the past year, and our interest in this resource is still active. Over the past couple years we have found many of the major timber companies selling off their U.S. holdings, making possible acquisitions available. Many of these properties also maintain the mineral rights as well. As the opportunities come up we will continue to look for acquisitions in this area.

Our goal for the upcoming year is to bring the Dragon Mine into a positive cash flow position, and to find other ventures that can create a positive impact for the company. As the company grows and becomes more viable we intend to move to other exchanges to enhance the tradability of your stock. Although we are not where we want to be yet, we have taken some significant steps this past year. We thank you for your loyalty and support.

President

this PR came out from BIPH a week or so back, about patents on using halloysite for drug delivery:

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060303/20060303005457.html?.v=1

as someone who's followed both BIPH and ALMI for 2-3 years now, interesting to follow the growing connection.

i admit i don't even check ALMI except for every other week or so, briefly. there's something i like about holding a few core stocks long in a retirement account and simply deciding to completely ignore any short-term fluctuations. still have no idea when some of these halloysite products will actually come to market, but - am willing to take the risk that someday they'll pan out, and just hold ALMI long and not really pay any attention to it.

Well, it seems that halloysite made Fox News yesterday. That explains some of the activity with ALMI. [Smile]

interesting about the fox news thing, granny - maybe is related to this week's odd jump for ALMI, seemingly out of the blue.

Blue, since ALMI wasn't mentioned, I was thinking that maybe some of the people who dumped their shares decided to get back in. I'm not so sure that many people would get the connection otherwise. It was nice to see halloysite on the mainstream news though.

Hopefully, with some of the other contracts that ALMI has, they should get out of the red sometime this year. They have been cutting their losses with each report.

Anyhow, I'm just going to keep holding.

honestly i admit am a little surprised about ALMI's sudden rise and strength this week: still pushing 1.50. am not complaining of course, still my #2 OTC holding after ETLT. a little strange though, rise just seemed out of the blue.

somewhere out in CA, i know a certain queen bee is also smiling re: ALMI.

OSBURN, Idaho, Apr 05, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Atlas Mining Company (ALMI) is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement to furnish halloysite material to the European markets through an association with DURTEC GmbH of Neubrandenburg, Germany. DURTEC is a mineral product developer and distributor supplying unique pure products throughout Europe in all areas including Life Sciences applications (feed, food, supplementary food, cosmetics, cosmeceuticals, medical devices). Their intent is to acquire proper registration and licensing for sale of Dragon clay clays for various markets on behalf of Atlas.

Other areas Dr Schomburg has indicated as a good fit for the unique halloysite clay properties include pharmaceutical and agricultural areas.

William Jacobson, President and CEO of Atlas Mining Company, stated, "In our efforts to move into new and exciting markets for our unique halloysite clay, it was nice to find a group that thinks beyond the conventional markets.
