cool dusty.. well herez my take.. risking my money on an OTCBB stock.. holding it for more than 6 months/1 year, that too on a risky industry like mining, doesnt make me feel very comfortable. I am trying to warn readers about the underperformance of sector in general, and this company in specific. plenty of microcap stocks out there in OTCBB/smallcap which will outperform this stock IMO. and thats what I am trying to convey to the readers.

"...holding it for more than 6 months/1 year, that

That is fine. No argument. However, this does
not apply to ALMI stock. Many of us have been
holding ALMI for going on three years. Never
a single loss and only great growth. ALMI is
rock solid and enjoys a bright future.

Personally, as of a few minutes back, I am
up 386.12% for ALMI and there is not a chance
I will sell. I expect my profit margin to
double in a year, in two years.

Readers can buy ALMI today and know they will
enjoy very good profits in the future; almost
a virtual guarantee, that is "almost" because
I refuse to mislead readers.

What you are trying to do is persuade Granny
to sell her ALMI and buy your stocks, with
no basis of foundation other than your words
indicating to buy.

Why should she sell her ALMI and buy your stock?

That would be foolish and Granny is no fool;
she is a professional trader.

Do not read us labeling you a basher, yes? You
do refer to us as bashers although what we do
and you do not do, is discuss stocks in an open
and honest manner; we play it straight.

You want people to buy your stock?

Start a thread on your stock, provide high
quality research, then present your opinion,
based on facts, an opinion indicating why
you believe people will profit.

Give us both the negative points and the
positive points, present your pitch and
we will react and provide critique along
with helpful research of our own.

Start a thread, convince us with facts.

The Lady Purl is right on!

You are being a pain in the b-tt just to be a pain in the b-tt and it isn't appreciated. You make a habit of it and need to grow up.

When the Lady Purl or Dust injects some information or "off-thread" opinion about a stock they generally provide a reason for that and back it up with data and links for follow up DD. You only offer loud bashing opinions and NOTHING constructive or indicating DD. You remind me of the dweeb.

And anyway, the Lady offers clever asides and quality turns of the language to make her's pleasent and instructive. Dust offers many dozens of stock tips along the way.

why would putting out a stocks pick mean bashing your stock. all I said was that some other stock in same sector/other sector would outperform your pick. nothing wrong on that.. I gave my opinion that this stock shall underperform. the chart says much of it, most of mining stocks would peak around May/June area. after that, the sector has kind of been lackluster. long term trend on the stock shows bearish signals. thats my opinion on the stock. can you support why this company would outperform index/sector? does it have any institutional investors keenly interested in it? are there any big interest guys who have put a lot at stake on this stock? what else is your basis for this stock to outperform? IMO the market cap that it currently enjoys around $1.75-$2 PPS is good enough for the stock, unless it releases bvetter revenue figures/increase in its resources.

Purl, I have about a 42 percent gain on the retirement account which is far better than I was planning and far better than I expect in the future. The fact is, I have lost a few and gained a few, but the gains are better than the losses. I'm not about to sell my ALMI at this point. While I realise that the "grass is always greener", etc...I'm trying to keep away from that sort of thinking. In fact, I'm making an attempt at keeping emotion out of it completely (a true excercise if there ever was one). [Smile] Ok, now that the market is closed, it's time for me to go to the library and pick up some reading material. Later good people.

well, dusty, cool.. all i am saying is the stock would underperform its sector after May/June, until coming jan/Feb. thats the way the sector works. i am giving my opinion on this stock same way others give opinions on so many other threads. i have justified why i think this stock would underperform the sector. i want readers to have both sides of the picture. i can support my claim as to why this stock would underperform. and i am putting those thoughts on the thread. charts tell you why the stock shall slide down. unless there is an anazing PR, the stock shall be capped below 1.85, for a while to come, might change if they put out another great PR saying they would have another 1-2M revenues per year or something like that, since OTCBB stocks run good on news of that sort.
if readers are looking for 50-60% increase over next year, then the stock might be worth taking a look at, but short term, the stock shall stay where it is right now IMO. this can change based on their PR's, however, seeing that revenue in financials is the key!

Granny is off to look at National Geographic,

"Ok, now that the market is closed, it's time for me
to go to the library and pick up some reading
material."

Darn, our local library does not carry Playgirl.

 -

Our girl used to sneak my Playgirl magazines out
of our bedroom then take them to her room. Most
often, she would fall asleep while reading. In the
morning, she would hide her choice under her bed.

Never said anything to her, as intended. When
she started college and moved into guest house,
she lost interest in Playgirl magazine, so I
terminated my subscription. I figure if she is
no longer reading those magazines, no point in
spending money buying Playgirl magazines, for her.

OK here are my picks for you purl and here are my reasons.

FRPT: highly bullish chart, defense company just breaking even and coming to profitability, great long term potential for their vehicles, and defense industry has realised its potential. recent contracts show that. short term: bullish, long term: bullish. have been trying to increase their base by licensing their products to foriegn company, their vehicles saving lives of our soldiers everyday, backlog contracts in excess of $300M, and most interesting of all, possibility of acquisition.

supg: chart seems to have bottomed out. increasing revenues by their drug licenses, recent approval of two of the most crucial patents, new licenses to large market exposure companies like johnson&johnson.. so on and so forth.

TMTA: company desperately trying to come back. chart looking for support around 1.5 region. recent news of license with AMD is good prospect. stock took hard hit when sony contract revenue decline, but should climb back up once revenues from AMD deal come back. also, the flexgo model has increasing revenue potential in europe and asia, where increasing number of customers are tending towards easy pay&go terminals. also joining of russel 2000 index might take stock ahead.

i didnt want to tout my picks, sorry tex, but i was asked to. i will definitely try to limit this.

Ruskin_Muskin writes,

TMTA:

Ok, that is a start. Now create a unique thread
for each stock, provide a brief on financial
status, provide links to pertinent SEC filings
and clips of important news. Provide readers with
a short highlight of key points, both negative
and positive, and your links.

Then present your case why readers should buy.

This is a general guideline on how we do it here,

http://www.allstocks.com/stockmessageboard/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi/ubb/get_topic/ f/2/t/001894/p/1.html?

That is an example of what Old Timers here like
to read and especially like to discuss.

oh.. why would i want readers to buy my stock? IMO readers should do their own DD before buying a stock. all I can give is opinions on those/other stocks. frankly i really dont care if anyone buys my stock, because i depend more on charts/volume than one reader reading my post and buying my pick. nevertheless, my opinion on this stock.. its not going great distance without their contracts trickling money into the financials except when P&D masters hijack the stock. heck, not long ago, they hijacked DBGF at $3.5 and took it all the way to $22 before mighty crash. so assuming no P&D happens on this stock, the stock shall be capped where it is now. i will be watching the chart to break 1.85.

financials are at best mediocre.. decrease of around 40% in its revenues, 350% increase in net loss on year/year basis, and yet you beleive the stock will go up.. why should it go up again???

like i told you purl, i only share my thoughts on a stock. and i try to do it with sincerety. i have never asked anyone to buy any stock, because for me that really doesnt make a difference, if i find a stock good, i say it out.. if i find it mediocre.. then i put that out too.. now not everyone agrees with me and thats fine.. no two members need to have same opinion.. i have been one of the first to share stock when i beleive it will go up, because chart based plays are mostly cyclic, which would mean they would go up, and come down again.. but point is i try to make readers aware of when I beleive it would go up and when it would come down.
