I must say I am sickened! just watched the same BS. As is sit in my comfortable chair watching as some that are able to get to these people hearing of people dying, babies dying.....I can only cry and donate more. IT NEEDS TO GET TO THEM!! All is under control MY A$$!! There is no excuse for this....I sit and watch as if I'm looking it the eyes of people, parents terrified as if they are in some forgotten land.... I have done all I can do from here. I extend my prayers to all that are dealing with this. Being here in my house with my family has given me even more reason to be thankful. There is no reason for this...GET HELP TO THESE PEOPLE! It's just not right!

I asked about this angle earlier. Can't understand why there's not a team or two of "punishers" tapped into everybody's network. Just a few hard responses would send the rats back into their holes. It's not like the rats are fighting for a cause; they would crumble in the face of anything close to SEAL or Delta team or whatever it is you military guys call em...special ops? Seems like one helo-team and one surface team could make a world of difference...no?

But then again....the political rammifications. US soldiers firing on US citizens. It may be what needs to happen but it never will. I'm only afraid that things are only going to get more out of hand as time progresses.

Well, me personally, don't have a problem with introducing folks to the after life. Already done it a few times. However, even for someone like me, I would find it personally difficult to waste another American, no matter how deserving they were.

I got video, but it's from the wrong country. Got some killer shots of tracers going up past the helicopter I was riding.........on my way home. But you may be right Art. I never thought of that. I don't think the aircrews would lie aout being fired on....but the administration in general might.

Mississippi public radio has been very informative... we have a series of ham (antiques can be good) radio people all over the state setting up radio phone lines... been listening to it more than watching the TV today (for a change ) we had almost no governmental resources in place... very few Guard in particular.. our standby Guard was in the hundreds not thousands....
you all are just seeing New Orleans on the tube...the southern half of MS has been flattened, there are still whole towns cutoff from trees down, and we are still being told NOT to head south... the state troopers are turning all non-credentialed people back for fear of looters...
it's frustrating....
today? i heard an interview of a New Orleans police officer, who was HERE in mississippi..why??? couldn't take the pressure just left..in a New Orleans patrol car...this officer said there were quite few who did...

No probs LIL, thought I did see some National Guard at the convention center this evening. I heard the Oregon Guard is sending MP's down, and up here in Washington State we may be sending folks as well. I gotta finish my next NCO academy before I go. But I have already volunteered as well as a lot of my buddies have too. Right now we're just waiting on orders.

you know....I've heard stories from my Father in law, (special forces) that would blow the minds of many....All that is trying to be done here is to get to thousands of people in OUR OWN BACK YARD and get them the help they need. If we can't do that.....we're in bigger trouble than I've ever dreamed possible.
