I work every day (and I mean every day), while she sits home with no job, new car, and just cashes checks...

Oh well... havin fun, got it back and then some in 6 months. I'M FREE!

If this does well... more icing on the cake.

Yes.. I don't recommend marrying a crazy person either... unfortunately doesn't leave many to date.

I paid the price for telling someone with no plan or initiative, to do whatever she wanted to be happy and I'd pay for it....

Only have a few minutes to check on anything....Does anyone have a read as to when TDAmeritrade is going to get there chit togeather as far as trading this goes???

All kidding aside about the marriage stuff...my father once told me something that I'll never forget and has carried me through my marriage. He said that I would never know what happiness was until I got married....then it's too late!

In my case it was definitely not cheaper to keep her . .

She drained six figures a year on God knows what...

Must have been the perpetual vacation she was on, and the weekend shopping trips to New York, daily Starbucks, Pilates, yoga, blahblahblah

Well now it's my turn... for once I'm spending on myself... and I know exactly where all the money is.

I'll say one thing for divorce... it wakes you up and gets you very organized!

wow..are you guys that bored that you are posting of your loses after being married?
Men aren't the only ones that "get Screwed" during a divorce...I "took" all debt (that he created)and the kids...he pays no child support...and 100% free...to enjoy his life...I am much better off with out him...

marriage with the right person can be wonderful...I've seen it with several people...

I flip back a forth between Ihub and here. frankly I'm getting sick of that board. There are some good boards on IHub but the CSHD board is completly annoying. The format, personalities, and real DD here is extremly refreshing. Kinda like a cold beer would be like in Atlanta (P Rowds is gonna feel the heat down there LOL). But thanks for the quality that I get to glean from and learn from.

Geez, i was only gone for lunch and this placed turned into relationship advice and comedy central! [Smile]

Its kind of refreshing though, no one arguing or panicking over a "down tick". Seems to be a lot of 30 somethings in here though, and unmarried at that. Is there some personality type we all might fit into or something?

Seriously.. I'm not complaining... other than my marriage (there were good times too), this life has been incredible... and better every day.

The problem with marriage is that it takes 2 people to be committed to it....no one wants to work at anything anymore.

I agree with your comment 10 . .I'm not that jaded.

She get $5k amonth for 5 years . . sorry to piss you off 10, next time marry for money LOL [Wink]
