Remember just two days ago when I got hammered for bringing up the bond issue...
The only thing I think we still have not been able to verify is that there seems to be little/no info on the Caracas group or Ismet Paez. I'm sure if we all looked we could find something.
All I have so far is a Google hit mentioning the Caracas group as a political party backed and funded by the USA. Apparently putting these people in power fits US political agenda for the country better that current Venezuelan Pol. Leaders. With the defense contracts however awarded to Georgia Aerospace there could be a US Gov. Connection even though it is a long shot.
I know it is a stretch but any thoughts or other DD welcome and link to article below.

Not sure that is about the Caracas "group", but I didn't read it all.
Caracas is the city in Venezuela where the US Embassy is. I've done some searching, but most everything that comes back has to do with the city, and not a group.

Just kidding... I don't know how many shares you have.
There should be a prerequisite on this board that factual info is necessary for any statement that leads to me thinking I'm going to make some money.... otherwise I spend too much time ruminating over it . . it makes me nauseated, and my heart can't take much more. LOL

Nah.. I'm OK... new to this stock thing. I'm pretty exhaustive about researching the investments I make, so every time a red herring is thrown out I follow it to the end... even if it's junk. This stock has been one hell of an educator. Just getting alittle worn out at the end of some days... yesterday was brutal, but didn't change my feeling about the stock..but as emotions run high, it's tough to fight fear as well. Which is why I prefer this board over iHub. Factual info and links to support ideas are much more welcome than the self serving "saviors" trying to give me unnecessary DD to do (i.e. owe street).

Bashers are part of the game. Learn who will shoot straight with you. I put a couple (non-inclusive) names before you: Tex, 10of13, Purl Gurl, Maumee, J_U_ICE. There are many others. listen to what they say. No one knows everything. This site is the best I have been on.
Good to just grab a stock and follow it and not be in it. Just listen and watch.

I believe I would have to vote purl gurl off the island. After the concerted effort she did on ihub trying to bash the bond without ever offering anything to substantiate it other than claiming st0cklemon is always right, I just dont see a lot of credibility.

so, what are the facts on the bond?
I dont have to have any facts other than what the company has offered. I'm not the one claiming its invalid. Last I checked company pr's, 8-k's, verbal communications, and physical evidence of a merger completing were all valid materials to trade off of.

LOL..this bond seems to be an "issue"...and I am confused why it is... is it because it is something that noone can truly varify just as noone can varify that I actually own this stock?

oh...
shine on, bro...hope that approach works out for you. Some traders have found that companies/CEOs/IR firms/TAs are not always forthright, and so these types of traders "dig into" the info deeper than what the company might wish.

as far as I can tell--and remember, I've been in n out so unable to follow every twist--the bond is the "claim to fame" as far as assets go. It's what separates the balance sheet from "a contender" vs "just another POS."
given that? verification *does* become important...
put it this way...if I were Rufus/company COO/etc? I would make it *transparent* where to get the facts, especially on a play of this potential magnitude...

But Tex...how do you varify? "we" have no choice...but to wait for financials...and filings...to see if it is true... Or do you know of a way to varify it?
