T-minus 50 minutes until the start of the conference..NITE has been bidding all day, that's usually a good sign

this is still relatively close to the 52w low, so that gives me confidence. Also the fact that if you look at the chart it spiked to 0.30 WITHOUT this news.
Does anyone know if there's a big short position that needs to be covered? The key statistics page on yahoo doesn't show any numbers

This stock was given a .40 price target in May, before the CEOTA contract by the research firm Tri-State Capital...so where should we be after this contract?

I like how this contract is with CEOTA..not some fly by not company or organization. Definitely big for credibility.

Or it might be people realizing they aren't gonna get cheap shares and changing their bids to buy at the ask price

That's fine...when the contract #'s are out this will be very nice to us, we may have to wait longer then today for those #'s though...thats why i dont think they put out a PR, just a conference to talk about it, the more I think about it.

Another Step Towards The Preservation of The Rainforest… By Katia Rodriguez
Rockwall, TX (7/5/2006): From Chico Mendes, Francisco Alves Mendes Filho, the Brazilian rubber tapper, unionist and environmental activist who fought to stop the logging of the Amazon Rainforest and was later murdered for his efforts, to Modern environmental and ecological preservation organizations, all have one mission, preserving the rainforest.
The Fronthaul Group ( FHAL) announced on June 14, 2006 that it has signed an Letter of Intent to provide third party logistics for the Climate Exchange of the Americas, Inc. (CEOTA) over their exclusive Brazilian license to recover sunken logs from the Amazon River and its tributaries. The activated license includes over a 100 miles segment of the river near the mouth of the city of Belém, Pará, Brazil. This area has been identified as a real problem area by the Brazilian government; after this area has been rectified the license can be expanded to the rest of the Amazon River system.
The Fronthaul Group is a publicly held Delaware corporation with branch offices in Rockwall, TX. The Fronthaul Group expects to grow their business specifically in the areas of 3rd party logistics, which includes but is not limited too Transportation Brokerage and Motor Carrier services.
Over the past century, legal an illegal logging has taken a toll on the world’s rain forests. Loggers would go into the Forest and begin massive logging operations, these operations would quickly surpass the jungle road infrastructure, so the practice of floating logs down the river to the saw mills or other final destinations became commonplace. A side effect of this process was that many logs became water logged and sank to the bottom of the river while they were floating them to the mills. Once they sank to the bottom of the river they went into a type of “stasis” due to the lack of oxygen and microorganisms. These logs are almost as good today as they were the day they were cut from the forest floor. The positive side is that there is enough timber lying at the bottom of the river to sustain a global economy for an undetermined period of time.
The Fronthaul Group will arrange the complete third party logistics life cycle including the arrangement of retrieving the sunken logs, the milling operations and developing export markets for the environmentally safe wood products. The timber will be certified as “SmartWood” and sold all over the world. The Fronthaul group and the non-profit organization, CEOTA, will split a percentage of the profits for this project. “We have identified several potential partners in this venture already, but would certainly entertain offers from any other organizations wanting to work with us on this project.” say Mike Alexander, CEO of the Fronthaul Group.
"The Fronthaul Group's initial area of responsibility could yield upwards of $1,500,000,000 in gross revenue, and there is no estimating what the potential is for the remainder of the river and its tributaries. Conservative estimates project 2.6 billion board feet of easily recoverable first grade lumber under our initial phase of this contract, our children may be recovering the timber from this river under the rest of this license" says Gordon Brown, Director of CEOTA, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the rainforest.
“There are literally millions, some estimates as high as several billion logs that have sunk to the bottom of the Amazon River and it’s tributaries. We intend to assemble an International team of companies to come in and help remove these hazards, improve the underwater ecosystem, employ the locals, stimulate the local economy, and hopefully eliminate the navigation problem in the river, while increasing shareholder value,” Mike Alexander.
Experts hired by the Brazilian Government have determined through sonar analysis and measured navigational hazards there are at least 6,000,000 cubic meters of easily recoverable wood in the area affected by the license and 10–60 million cubic meters of lost timber throughout the rest of the Amazon River System. CEOTA is actively working towards recovery of this wood as experts have determined that for each log recovered there will be an equivalent to saving 37 living trees that will be saved from destruction thus saving valuable acres of existing rainforest.
“This license is given as a public utility in Brazil which means we have the complete support of the Brazilian government including but not limited to military support for the protection of the resources and personnel,” Gordon Brown Director of CEOTA.
Mr. Brown also stated, “Fund Amazon had this license renewed every year since 1999 and have already renewed the license for this year, we were just waiting for the World Cup to be finished so that we could arrange for a hard copy of the new license to be copied and sent to our offices. At this point in time, that is the only factor we are waiting on before the Fronthaul Group and CEOTA sign the contract and move forward and close this deal.”
“Here is an opportunity for everyone to make a statement about Deforestation and Global Warming. Buy this wood, it’s as high quality or better than the quality of wood on todays market. Furniture, yacht, specialty wood companies etc. should insist on using this wood. Send a message that you want your product to be built from environmentally conscience providers. Support those organizations making the environment a priority,” states Mr. Alexander.
The Fronthaul Group CEO, Mike Alexander will be live on ***.com on Wednesday July 5th at 2:00PM CDT.

Sounds like the contract has not been signed due to the license not being in hand (they say its been renewed, but they don't have it in hand).

Expandable contract...current contract covers 100 miles (narrowest point is 2-5 miles). Port authority controls all of the Amazon. The license will be expanded to the full Amazon (in Brazil) once things are going good. CEOTA has control of the whole license.

CEOTA has been taken to court in the past by the old logging companies. The logging companies claimed that they owned the logs since they lost them, but courst have sided with CEOTA in all cases.
