I'm joking. I was in QBID for about a year and finally sold out after the big run. I still believe in them a bit but waiting to see something positive before buying back in.

Is there ANY plausible thought that this could honestly be a buyback??? I know we have said it (prayed it) before, but is anyone taking odds this MAYBE since the current mgmt is doing such diligence??

When in doubt, think positive . . .
We know someone is buying, and I just cannot believe it's the "little guys" like us who are buying billions of shares. And no one, including MMs, buy shares unless they believe they will make money from them.
So, instead of asking "IF?" Q's PPS will someday rise, I am asking "WHEN?" and "HOW HIGH?".
But I have to be realistic too: "when" might be years . . . and "how high" might be much lower than I'd like. But still, the current situation is much better than it was a few weeks ago ... and that is a very good thing.

Verizon is now listed with the others carriers on the Home page of Q. I called Verizon and they said that the Premium channels are broadcast system wide, not like Time Warner where we have to sign each region. The only variation in programming at the local level is for the local stations and local sports channels.

It is a good find. However these are not new finds but Fan doing clean up work with the carriers that presently exist and risked loosing. Fan does have a long road ahead of him which IHO is about 70% cleanup from previous management and 30% to move forward. I do believe he has accomplished more in 90 days than could be expected but then again if he is the bussiness man we hear he is, then he did his homework first before the takeover. I am still watching and gaining interest.

I think its great that we have Verizon FiOS... but the problem is that it is still NOT available everywhere for subscribers. Also, Verizon has not updated their package channels, QTN is not listed yet. I will be glad when it is offered on Dish or DirecTV. I guess QTN needs to ensure that all the programs are available and up and running before we can start broadcasting at 100% capablity.
Also, I wonder when Lloyd and Carol are going to release subscriber numbers - we still have no clue of subscribership.

Frankie the fraudster did PR this. The PR was released on February 2, 2006. Go to the QTN Press Release website. Lloyd probably had to do some finagling with Veriaon to ensure carriage, after Frakie eF'ed everything up.

the deal was PRed already. they stated this was going to happen, it is not a surprise, why would they spend money to tell you that it happened after telling us that it is going to happen.
they dont send out prs for free.
Verizon will be advertising the fact that they are carrying these new channels, so it is redundant

The cheepest i have found that you can post a press release for is about $400.
its not a large cost, but it is a cost, and right now i would rather they dont spend the money unless it is going to pay for itself.
400 right now is over 4 million shares.
4 million shares that may have to be bought back later at a much higher cost.
