If you do read dogcatcher's posts on RB, you will see during the 1st week of January 2006, dogcatcher hinted that rumors were flying around regarding a buyout/merger.
It's been about 3 months. I think things are more than just preliminary. Until it's in writing, it will be preliminary.
From 2/28/06 PR: "Key items such as the execution of definitive documents and the finalization of the previously announced independent valuation report are some of the items that are required for the negotiations to result in preliminary and final agreements."
We are preliminary. We need: 1) execution of definitive documents 2) finalization of independent evaluation
We get those 2 things and we just moved from preliminary to final
According to dogcatcher, the valuation was completetd on 3/6/06
Now all we need is for it to be in writing, and then the PR will hit the wire. It's easy to take what's in the PR's to fit your agenda - are you long, short, undecided....
I'm long and I'll make my long argument.

I still feel it will happen to and probably sooner than later. This is the world of pinks, follow your instinct. Never go all in on one of these stocks, but sometimes one comes along that you feel like you had better get some while its cheap. Thats my feeling now. I have just shy of 3.5M and will pick up more if it dips again.

1,000 different ways to analyze today's (and past) PR's
Ask started to improve towards end of day. Only time will tell how this pans out.
At least with AT&T they said who is involved which means much more than an unknown. If it's a big name like AT&T or Bellsouth that makes it exciting because both are big names. WE don't know who the other party is here and JPHC certainly is not a big name. You are not comparing the same thing here. Would you rather have a moped or a Harley?
Let's be fair. You also can't purchase a Harley for the price of a moped.
We are talking about two completely different levels here. The biggest problem was the expectations that we were going to get solid news. Those who believed and did not recieve were disillusioned and have or are selling.
I for one did not put much stock in the rumors. I'm riding free shares and can wait it out. News will only come when the company is ready.
Remember JPHC never said they were going to release any information. This expectation is not their fault.
One thing I did glean from the PR is that we should not expect them to release the valuation publicly since they stated it was for internal use by the BOD.
There are only 2 choices here, relax and hold on OR sell get out and move on. None of the complaints or defenses are going to change anything.

I agree, we need to be patient. I bought WMDH last Aug. at .05, $500. worth. Last month it shot up to .98. I sold at .75 and made $7000. profit off of $500. It would be nice to repeat that but I can't expect it.

Well said Wally. The disillusioned sold causing a panic in my opinion. The problem is they have to sort the hype from the reality. The talks are ongoing and I can wait. Nobody is going to be rushed into a merger/buyout just to keep the investors happy. The Company is pleased to inform its shareholders that the preliminary discussions with a potential acquirer/merger candidate are ongoing and progressing well. Be patient or move on and keep it on radar,,,,it's going to happen.

Let's see if I can piece something together. I like to play detective in times of "quietness"

I can't help but notice how the merger/buyout news starting in Jan '06. If you research the Sprint/Nextel acquisition of Gulf Coast, it happened late in the Q4'05 - a percon can dream, can't they?

For shorter term traders, the 20 SMA is about to cross the 50
Stochs were approaching overbought levels, but never really had a chance to peak out and create a nice rally. A bigger gap at the open a day or two ago would have done it.
MACD and PPO still trending up. JPHC still has legs.
I'm curious to see if the Incomm 2/23/06 acquisition news of PRE Holdings is related to Macro/JPHC. PRE Holdings located in Atlanta, GA - hmmmm

I agree that JPHC still has legs... now is the time to buy, not exit. After the valuation and marger/aquisition news, that will make for a better exit point if you are not playing this for the long haul

That's very curious. At least it seems to be a positive progression. When you say they came off the 4 ask and moved to 1/2/3, do you mean they went to .001/.002/.003? If that's the case, that's pretty encouraging news.

yea they moved it down even further.. i mixed up my bid/ask.. should be the other way around.
8x6 at 4/5 is not encouraging for tomorrow... Just can't imagine such a big sell off, especially sitting above the 20 and 50 SMA. If we close at 4 today, it's not going to be pretty. The slow down ticks are not helping the situation either.

here is what the DogCATCHER said, I do need to make a correction here about some terms. It is a takeover and not a merger. The Company has stated this in their Press Releases. That is why as of next week the Stock has the potential to be trading in the $0.003 area. That is also why the valuation # has never came out, because they are negotiating a deal with the listed public company. - - - - -

preliminary discussions potential acquirer/merger Preliminarily, management direction of the process Management is encouraged no assurances moving forward diligently become current with its periodic filings
That PR provided absolutley no sign as to how the actual numbers look or if the outcome is good or bad. The only thing they talk about is how good the "process" is going. Apperently, the shareholders shouldn't be excited about the numbers or the value of the company, but we should be excited about management's excitement of the process! WTF is that suppose to mean.
also, past experience has told me any .0001-.0005 company trying to do anything that has to do with becoming "legit", "up to date with SEC", "current with..." or any of that other crap jargon, means reverse split.

FWIW the DOGCATCHER17 Just recieved a email from him 10:00PM 03/09/06 He said: JPHC has inked the Deal, and Monday they will release the PR The buy out numbers are above .005 We should see the insiders buying tomorrow, all day. I am adding more in the morning. I tried to sign up for raging bull to tell the JPHC people, but it didn't work. Oh well they will find out soon enough!
I follow the L2 since tuesday (down trend starting) and I saw WECK always on the ASK side. Even alone on the ASK side and with a very high buy pressure (like this morning) this MM stay on the first line of the ASK side. This MM has tons of shares to sell and I am sure we are at this price level by his fault.
I estimate at more than 500 millions of shares sold be him since tuesday.
Probably, he do dilution.
Not good and I hope the dilution will finish shortly.
