JUPITER Global Holdings, Corp. Provides Update Regarding Current Corporate Plans Mar 8, 2006 1:35:00 PM LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/08/06 -- JUPITER Global Holdings, Corp. ("JUPITER" or the "Company") (OTC BB: JPHC) today provides an update regarding its current corporate plans.
The Company is pleased to inform its shareholders that the preliminary discussions with a potential acquirer/merger candidate are ongoing and progressing well.
Also, the Company's valuation process is advancing positively. Preliminarily, management feels very pleased with the process and the interim results. The independent pricing analysis report is moving towards being finalized, and the Company believes shareholders should be encouraged by Management's optimism about the direction of the process.
As a response to numerous shareholder inquires, the independent pricing analysis report is a confidential document that the Company commissioned for internal purposes only to aid the JUPITER board of directors in meeting their fiduciary duties in negotiations with any acquirer/merger candidate. JUPITER retained Evans & Evans to prepare an independent pricing analysis report to assist the JUPITER board of directors in determining a reasonable price for JUPITER in contemplating any transaction with any acquirer/merger candidate.
Although Management is encouraged at this stage of the discussions, no assurances can be given that an acquisition or merger transaction will be agreed to by the parties or that such a transaction will be approved by our shareholders, if required.
The entertainment spin-off, although delayed, is moving forward diligently. The abovementioned corporate plans, plus the Company's efforts to become current with its periodic filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission have required the Company to prioritize these efforts. The Company plans to provide a further update regarding the spin off of its entertainment interests in the near future.

I don't know if I blame them for not releasing numbers at this point--especially if they are in any kind of serious kind of discussions and perhaps the numbers haven't come out in Jupiter's favor thus far. This PR was basically saying 'we're progressing' but like a poster above it kind of makes you say why release this kind of 'news' at all? One theory--a shot across the bow that more-concrete guidance is not far away--acquisition/merger, entertainment spin-off and full SEC filing compliance. Today's news is shaking out a number of tired holders and allowing MMs and others to load-up at lower levels.

I jumped out at .0005, took my 25% gain on 2 mill of my shares in this, still hold about 500k but i think this may be a while, oh well, not what I was hoping for or expecting, should have sold yesterday at .0010 :-(

we beg these people for a PR even though they weren't ready and then we're mad as he11 when its not what we want. Well they bowed to pressure and issued a PR and told us what they could....."things are progressing". At least they are progressing, now lets give them time to finish it. They are still working on this merger/buyout opportunity and that doesn't change the fact that when it is done we should all profit nicely if we hold,,,,,,,,or may be a good time to grab some more.

He said news would be out within a half an hour of when it was released.
He also said that the valuation is complete as of last night. Today's PR looks like the golden opp the 'short' mm's were waiting for to lock, load and cover. I ain't helping them.
I believe the valuation is done but won't be released to the general public. Let's just hope a SEC filing hits with the merger news before the weekend

We are still hearing that it is going to be dynamite. As far as the timing goes....we are hearing that there will definitely be an announcement withing the next 24 hours. IMO, today's PR was a result of investors clamoring for news. They are not done with their talks yet so all they could say was that "things are progressing" which in itself is a good thing. When talks are finalized and they have something to say, then they will let us know. I think they would have been better off to wait until then but you can bet that if anyone at the company reads any of these boards the next PR will have meat to it.

Same here Rocky... but hey it's the stockmarket.... what can i say it's like taking a bus ride in a foreign country while being blindfolded... after the fact we all know what to do... but during the trip... we're never sure where or when to get off!!!! It's a learning curve!!!
I, however, think that we will be seeing some more action in the next week... not necessarily tomorrow...but possibly friday or next week for sure when another PR is out!!! 'til then i'll be on the bus and following my other senses!!!!

Preliminary means the opening or 1st round of talks. Potential; everyone who looks at a car in the dealers window is a potential buyer. So this could take a while or just fall through. So we might as well check out some other stocks and not let this thing get us excited.

So when AT&T announces it's preliminary intention to acquire Bellsouth for $67 billion, you wouldn't be excited? Just another person looking at a car in the window?

Ask started to improve towards end of day. Only time will tell how this pans out.

You make a good point roiresearch, its all in how it's perceived. The point is that everyone expected a killer PR today and they are just not ready yet. I think that they felt they had to put out a PR today because of all the calls they had been getting from investors. If this is true then the news that we've been waiting for is still coming and we can still expect it to be as good as ever, just not as soon as we thought. I hate to be the one to say it, because I hear it all the time, but this really is a good time to pick up some cheap shares.

At least with AT&T they said who is involved which means much more than an unknown. If it's a big name like AT&T or Bellsouth that makes it exciting because both are big names. WE don't know who the other party is here and JPHC certainly is not a big name. You are not comparing the same thing here. Would you rather have a moped or a Harley?
