All QBID longs should take this low pps to Double Down on your shares. If you are like me, you have shares purchased at .005 or higher. So, if you have the money, you should double you shares here, wait 30 days or longer and sell your old high priced shares. This way, you get the capital gains loss for taxes but you have the same number of shares as before. The only caveat to this is CAN YOU SELL YOUR OLD SHARES!!! Of course, if you have your shares in an IRA, as I do some of mine, then this doesn't apply for taxes.

My first order on Thursday got filled, the second did not. Some of the recent shares I have bought were from left over $ from other equities, a hundred $ here and there.
I had 5 buys in 2005. When the PPS approached .0004 I realized it was going further south and sold most all then started buying back at .0001 and have flipped shares.
It's still a long term build, IMO, and could take several years more to be sound.
I have no fault with the product quality. I haven't heard anything lately about the Mary Hartman thing, anyone?
As with some of my stocks I will retain the net shares (those without cost due to flipping).
As stated above by manfromjax a person could Double Down and with many stocks I have but the math shows that as with QBID when it hit .0004 there are other ways as well.
I just did this also with SLR recently when it tanked below my "paid price". I sold it at a Wash Sell (less than 30 days) loss but bought back much lower, then flipped it and recovered the loss plus enough. Now waiting on SLR to change directions, or something, and may buy in again. The Wash Sell wasn't much $ but still a loss.
GLTA and I'm sorry some of you longs got burnt from .005 and above. Hopefully you will recover someday.

AS to SLR, DD, I really think the company is about to make some dramatic changes. Really there is not much other choice.
Prediction, shear speculation, FO will have a reduced management position in the operation THIS YEAR. He will show to have more shares than thought as well. I may be wrong, I was once before.

Looks like we have our first Queer TV casualty!!
OUTtv goes bankrupt? Oh, we were going to take the world by storm, weren't we? We were wealthy, obsessed with ourselves and ready to buy into our own TV station. Ha. Canada's queer television channel has suffered yet another setback. Xtra reports that "Shaw Communications, a western cable and satellite company, had obtained a judgment allowing it to seize OUTtv's cable subscription revenues." Uhm, that would be a sizable chunk of cashflow, since OUTtv doesn't seem to be very advertising-heavy, eh.
"On Jan 12, the gay cable channel submitted a Notice Of Intention (NOI) to file a proposal for restructuring under Canada's Bankruptcy And Insolvency Act. The notice allows OUTtv to protect itself and its subscription revenue.
"Bill Craig, the president of OUTtv, says the channel and its more sex-oriented sibling Hard On Pridevision, are struggling to build their business and Shaw's actions were potentially disastrous.... According to Craig, Shaw is claiming OUTtv owes $25,000 a month for providing a feed to cable stations across Canada from their satellite service StarChoice. Shaw did not respond to Xtra by press time."

Is there really a NAI Channel coming?
MJ, I believe we originally found out about this when the Firestone lawsuit hit. Firestone alleged that Frank tried to replace their contract to produce QTN shows with a contract to produce NAI shows.
You are right that it would be tough to make it lucrative with such a small audience - but one major item brought up in the lawsuit is that the Native American channel was allegedly given federal grant money of around 3 million.

Another interesting situation is that if Frank buys OUTtv, it would give us a presence in Canada. Now, with a Native American Channel in the works, this new channel would have a far greater potential audience.

MJM, im with you on this native american channel. I REALLY hope this is sorta a joke from Frank. Anybody that has half of a business mind would just laugh him off. Were not talkin about a company that has loads of money and has just sucessfully launched a network. Were talkin about a network that rumors are on the verge of bankruptcy, and if not bankruptcy, VERY in need of cash, thus dumping shares at .0001 for funding.
ANd the guy wants to start a native american channel. Ludacris if you ask me. Yes some people can support him for the gay network and he has done a great job thusfar, but he tries to make that native american channel and im going to blow a top. This is my investment in the company, im a shareholder, stop Frank and put your funds into QTN. Stop going off on tangents.
i personally really dont see them starting this soon, and i wouldnt really care if he begins it in 2 or 3 years once QTN is doin great, but i think Frank is selfish and he wants to launch this one as well before he dies so that he will be remembered for launching 2 networks. And from an outsiders opinion, i think QTN would go under and file for bankruptcy if it had to share funds with a start up native american network. IMO

It shows being filled at 10:20. I changed the number of shares around yesterday to equal the most orders going through on "Last Sell" but it did not help like it did earlier in the day. Did not touch it this am as my Ameritrade account was washey and had to close out browser and restart.

QBID trading is slowed now. I went ahead any put in a sell order at .0002 and expect to be filled within 10 days. If so then I will hold the balance.
Take a look at my other pennies today, MOTG.OB up 27% and XDSL.OB flat but primed. Any good news what so ever on XDSL and my position is up there 10% to 30%.
