justplayin Appreciate the info. Apparently I didn't "know" the guy when he was stating positives about Q. All I ever saw from him was unsubstantiated accusations about Frank and insulting comments about anyone who supported Q. Right or wrong, he was an unpleasant person, in my opinion, and I judge people on how they treat others more than on what they think and say.

its easy to ask him questions. the problem is that Frank will lie to your face. David Janis is a prime example he has been to the Studio many many times. Frank will tell him things that David will take as meaning certain things.
David brings it back here and posts it (that is his first mistake) and then it never comes true.
I have talked to Frank as early as last Friday.
he makes comments like, In an hour, you will know all there is to know. What does that mean?
when i asked him if he meant there would be a pr out to clear everything up, he states that is illegal for me to tell you that, all i can say is you will know everything there is to know in an hour.
so one could take it that there was a pr coming out. I took it that we where not going to know anything, and there for that is all that we can know at this time.
This is the way Frank plays with peoples heads. they lead them to believe what they want to hear, but he really doesn't say it.
therefore he feels that he has not lied to people.
yes i can call Frank yes i can ask him all the questions but am i going to get any answers? definitely not. we are not going to know any more then what Frank wants us to know. and that will not change until Frank screws up, or something forces the info out, like the pissed off employees.
no disrespect to anyone here, but no one is going to get insider info out of this guy. he is much smarter then everyone here gives him credit for.
however I do think that it is time for a new CEO and new direction for the company.
ya it may mean a R/S but really i feel there is not option anymore but a R/S. I have lost all hopes that they will be able to do any type of a buyback to get this back into shape.
Im still holding, as it is not in my best interest at this time to sell at a loss. I will write this off at the end of the year, but i dont need to sell at these levels to get that write off. I still feel there is hope for me to break even this year, but if not i will take the loss at the end of the year. no sense in guaranteeing my loss it for some reason they pull thier act together and get off the ground.

i know that its probable he is selling all these shares... but also i know from watching him for a couple hours that hes not in front of a computer. he doesnt really see what goes on with the stock from a technical point of view..maybe he just has a market maker who tries to sell as many shares as he can at all times...but i doubt that frank looks at the computer and decides every day how many shares hes gonna dump.

When I was in Aviano and Vicienza Italy with friends I experienced that when walking by an Italian couple on the beach, while sunbathing together (her being topless), we were easily recognized as tourist. This immediately triggers the man to stand up as you walk by him and his companion, and stands at attention with his arms crossed as if he was marking his territory. lol...Then after you pass him he lays back down next to her.
Every guy with a girl did that. It was a funny experience....but yeah, dang near all the girls were topless. lol

The beleaguered Q Television Network in the US, which owes a month's pay to more than 100 laid-off workers, is still on the air, though with a smaller staff and a revamped lineup, a network executive said on Monday.
Citing cash-flow problems, the network, one of three cable channels for gay men and lesbians, laid off nearly its entire production staff on February 1st and halted production for more than a week.
On Monday, Q's live programming was gearing up to produce four hours of live programming per night, though with a skeletal production crew.
"No shows are totally cancelled," Scott Withers, vice president of live programming, told GAY.COM.
"We are now trying to determine how to retool our existing shows so that more viewers will tune in."
Withers would not comment on the nature of the network's financial woes, but emphasised that "reports of Q's demise have been extremely exaggerated".
However, Withers would not say when - or if - it would bring back all laid-off workers, nor when they would be paid.
Q Television Network, available to 3 million cable subscribers in several cities, started operations in Texas in 2004 and moved its production facilities to Burbank, Calif., in 2005.
It still is not available in many major markets.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Saturday that the network's board of directors told the staff that an investor and his family with a large amount of money in the network were not able to continue financially supporting Q Television.
An e-mail obtained by the Chronicle told the network's staff that it was working with backup investors to make payroll.
In addition to not meeting payroll, the network is being sued by a San Francisco lesbian magazine, Girlfriends, for not paying its advertising bills for six months.
"I thought the network was a lot more solid than it really was," said Vanessa Meyer, a graphics generator who was laid off with more than 100 other production staffers on February 1st.
"Their subscription base is really low, and they're only in a handful of cities."
Without jobs for two weeks - and without being paid for a month of work - employees decided not to wait for the unnamed investor to come through and instead filed a petition with state labour officials, according to Meyer.
"The labour board told them that they can't hire anyone back until they pay us for the month of January, and they're watching (the network) very closely," Meyer said.
Chris Flynn, a technical director for Q Television, was one of a handful of laid-off workers asked to come back to help get network programming up and running.
With a check for January's work, Flynn agreed to return on a freelance basis, but is waiting to see if Q makes good on its word that other employees will be paid soon.
"I'm taking them on their word that by the end of the week everyone will receive their back pay," Flynn told GAY.COM.
"If that doesn't happen, then I will leave."
"We were a very close-knit staff, and that's why when this happens you end up feeling betrayed," Flynn said. "It's more than just not getting your paycheck."
Some, like Meyer, say they feel burned by the network and may not go back under any circumstances.
"A lot of us just want our money now," Meyer said.
"It is unfair to treat employees like this. I don't know who will be working (for the network) in the future because its name is sullied. For them to preach LGBT pride and then to do this to us, it sends a terrible mixed message."
Faze TV, what would have been the UK’s first gay TV channel, was cancelled in September after apparently failing to reach a transmission agreement with Sky.
