But I'll add this anyway:

I am concerned about the situation too. But I just don't KNOW what is going on. Nor does anyone else KNOW ... unless they are "hiding" that information.

Does anyone KNOW this is the end of our dream? Does anyone KNOW this is NOT the end of our dream?

Please share anything you KNOW. Opinions and speculations are fine, and I will read them and respect them, but I need facts.

Until then, I promise not to post anything that sounds positive, because right now I do not feel as "positive" as I have in the past. Just because I smile a lot, don't assume I am a total idiot (go ahead, everyone, say what you're thinking and get it over with [Roll Eyes] ).

So ... for the next two weeks, let's change the OP Club to the OO Club ("Obnoxious Objectivity") ... or is that still being "positive"? [Confused]

This is where we decide if we have been truthful all along! I have always said that I am in this until the end. As frustrated as I get, I remind myself of that. Then I relax, assume the money is gone, and try to look at the good stuff.

I don't think Frank is diluting, I think his creditors are diluting. I hope he is buying some back.

One key point, most CAN'T sell right now. So with that in mind, all of the huge volume in the last 2 weeks means the float is being absorbed.
Who is doing it? That is the .01 dollar question!!

I just want to make enough money to be eccentric.

Anyway, I dont buy it. That is insider information and I do not think at this juncture of the game Frank would say crap over the phone nevertheless to someone he doesnt know. That could have been a reporter, a member of the SEC, or a concerned investor that called him. He is not that stupid... I cant explain any motive but my gut tells me thats bogus. Also, I feel quite certain that anyone that was providing long term financing to Q would have done so under contract. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the family's estate would have to do some settlement rather than just a cut off issue. Business contracts are not null and void upon a death, they are handled by the probate courts. At least thats what I have seen in two nasty financially affluent deaths in parts of my family.

IMO whatever it is they "heard" still does not amount to a hill of beans from an investor point of view...I mean, it is not like Frankie boy showed them the "books" we know this because have stated this. IMO again, the other 85% was info that they may have overheard in meetings concerning Gay Games stuff, programming, equipment purchases, blah, blah, etc... OR maybe Frankie boy gave them millions of shares to come back on Allstocks and PUMP this pig. I DUNNO.

Well lets go IMAK. For a little entertainment value if nothing else.

I will speak for nobody but myself, but im sure many have the same concerns as myself IMO.

i do not think you have purposely sucked in investors or are a paid pumper or anything like that. I do not think DOC is. I think you are both better people than me for going to the studios. I think you have left MANY people hanging dry by stating IMO big pump statements like "if frank does this correct he will drop the big one AH". That is a blatent pump coming from an insider who claims to know 85% of what he hasnt said.

So IMAK start doin some asskickin.

I just got back and am ready to talk.

I think Q may declare bankruptcy for the reason of the Firestone lawsuit. They are nearing the end and have a good idea whether they will loose or win. To have to pay out that size of money would bankrupt Q no doubt. So instead of that, Q will either declare bankruptcy themselves or create a bankruptcy ploy to lessen the settlement. IMO

If they do declare bankruptcy i dont think the main thing is paying their dues, although it seems now from the same person that called the closing of the studios the day before that even the salaried employees have not gotten their paychecks. I think its because of the firestone lawsuit.

QTN Studios Dark, I told you!
OUTmay say it was an exclusive but you all know that the real exclusive on this news was by me on this msg board on WED!!
Some did not believe me.

The thing not to believe is that 1099 employees only are off of work. The staff (on W-2's) has yet to be paid and they say that the back pay will not be paid by a payroll check (with deductions taken out) as usual. What is told that is supposed to happen, is that by today (cross your fingers) the staff will get a full check no deductions. Then they will be responsible for their taxes at the end of 2006.

That means that they are switching w-2 employees to 1099. This does not seem to be legal. My take on this is that they want to get away from any Labor Board action if they dont get their payroll cleared.

I don't know much about how lawsuits work but I would think they have some sort of liability insurance to help take care of it. Of course if they don't have enough then they would have to cough up the remainder, but I can't imagine them just flapping in the wind with so many suits every year.

Frankie boy is trying to down play the studio closure with his BS press release...Sh!T he has had two freakin' years to prepare for the Gay Games and know he needs a one week hiatus. Gimme break! What he needs to take a freakin' hiatus from is the dumping all those damn shares.

lawsuits can take a couple of years to finally meet in court. q can settle with firestone, but all they would be required to pay would be the terms of the contract. they don't award punitive damages in breach of contract cases. settling would be better b/c they would have to pay less attorney's fees. keep in mind that sometimes it is beneficial to a company to breach a contract.

So... I will be speaking to him later today, if he keeps his word. Ahem.

This development about Richard leaves a bad taste in my mouth. 'Out on his ass' doesn't give me any warm and fuzzies. I suspect Richard's conditions are ultimatums that Olsen can't meet. Frank accusing Richard of not being responsive is a stunning statement. The company's poor disclosure is why Rich has got nothing to say. It's why we usually get two-word responses from Rich, if any.

Olsen sounded confident about replacing the financing, but it is also stunning that he did NOT have contractually-bound financing in place. Q was NOT fully-funded by the legal definition. I'd say 'unbelievable...', but not after I consider the source. I doubt Carol Hinnart was aware of the nature of this new channel's financing. She no doubt does now.

As for why Olsen increased the A/S to 100 billion if he hasn't issued shares (oh, btw, he said made a verrrry oblique reference to buying back shares) is one of the many questions I have for him this afternoon.

Don't worry. If I speak to him, there will be full disclosure on the board and no dumb winks or nods.

PS. I have only a few posts left today so I won't post again until tonite.

lawsuits can take a couple of years to finally meet in court. q can settle with firestone, but all they would be required to pay would be the terms of the contract. they don't award punitive damages in breach of contract cases. settling would be better b/c they would have to pay less attorney's fees. keep in mind that sometimes it is beneficial to a company to breach a contract.

Settlement date is feb 16. 3 days after their "hiaits". Firestone was not after no measly money. I dont recall how much, but it was in the range of 2-10M dollars.
