Well it does sound like we are getting closer to the truth... whether thats a good thing or bad things is yet to be determined.. it also sounds like the posters on the website MT is quoting have alot better info on what's going on than we do... and we've had several posters visit the site.... thats a shame..

Someone said earlier that we should post all our facts, opinions, speculations, whatever, because any information is worth digesting. I agree with that as long as it's presented "honestly" ... meaning no intentional lies and everything is labeled properly.
The alleged phone conversation is a little too OP for me ... and that's saying a lot. But if it's true, I'll buy the guy dinner ... and maybe breakfast (oops, there I go again).

BL, the guy itesprit is very honest and truthful and knows what hes talking about. I have not seen him lie yet, i believe he can be trusted. Just like doc, imak, and dj its not the messanger who lies. But its the speaker of the message.

Believe it or not, just got a call from Rene Schenk. He started off telling me his 'well-known' policy is to not talk to shareholders for fear of being mis-stated or providing inside info, then said he called me (he heard about my conversation with Frank somehow) to make clear that 'Richard Brown is in our corner.' He said that emphatically and repeatedly and called Richard a 'good friend.' 'Richard is not going anywhere,' he said. Ie, Rich will stay with the company.

But Rene then said that they've (Q) been very open with shareholders and I said, 'Wait a minute. You did an audit and never released the results. We have no idea what the true sharecount is, we get blind-sided by developments like today...." and he interuppted me, for the tenth time, to say 'This is why my policy is to not talk to shareholders. I cannot discuss these things with you without making you an insider.'
Since I knew I wasn't going to make anymore headway with him, I thanked him for his call and told him I'd pass along his message about Richard to other shareholders. I thanked him for his call and we hung up.
Richard has told me that Frank has hung up on him on occasion (that is a common behavior of Frank's apparently), and so it seems to be a love/hate relationship. I suspect Richard tells Olsen things he doesn't like to hear. Rene wants to keep Rich on board, as does Frank no doubt.
I honesty can't say what prompted Rene's call. He either heard about my call with Frank, was in the room at the time (I heard someone in the background), or Rich contacted him after reading my posts. I don't know. Rich hasn't called me, which is a little strange. He's been quiet lately.
Again, I'll save the rest of my few posts left for tonite.

the terms of the contract stated that they would be paid between $2-10 million? most contracts are pretty specific with what the parties duties are. it is possible it was an incentive based contract, i dont know i havent read the suit. i cant even find a link for it. all i was stating is that firestone would not be able to collect more than what was agreed upon during negotiations. they may even settle for less. they can't just try to collect an arbitrary number because that's not how breach of contract cases work.

There isn't any news about who won the firestone case yet, that I know of. Anybody know? Seems like it would be jumping the gun to panic yet or at all.

MT Thanks again for sharing this info. As I said about Itesprit's earlier post, I want it to be true but have to reserve judgement since I cannot confirm anything that was said. Even so, I feel better about it, knowing that you are confident about Itesprit's integrity.

I am with you BigRod... this has become a soap opera. I admit I don't know anthing, but all these people getting phones call, speaking with Frank, Richard, Rene or whoever is just getting to unreal. All I know is that we, the shareholders, haven't heard a peep out of QBID since last October in that now famous CC with Frank. All we know is that our shares are just about worthless. Now DJ is saying that all will release on Monday, moneymen died, studio closing down, staff going to Superbowl. MT saying bankruptcy. Then all these OPs saying the sky is blue and all is beautiful.. Gee! give me a break.............. I just can't keep up anymore. I will come back on Monday and see if what anybody said here today came true. Good luck to all.

Just got back from a short visit to QTV's offices here in Palm Springs.
They are open and the staff is there working. I said I was just dropping by to see if they were still alive and working. The young lady at the front desk laughed and said yes. I told her about the really nasty rumors of bankruptcy. She acknowledged those with a sigh and smile. So I asked "Are you guys declaring bankruptcy or going out of business?" She said no.
Her demeanor was not that of an employee working for a company on the brink of bankruptcy. I also asked what the main function of that office was, and she said administrative.
