Now we wait to see if they roll back the volume numbers. Isn't that what happened the last couple of times?

Beaverton Or is the 2nd richest city in Or, also by population, and many gay&lesbians also many people invested in Q live there. :) very good move for oregon also beaverton hillsboro but the wrong side of town for me to get Q :( but were next :D

Verizon will carry QTN as a subscription service, and it will be available wherever we offer FiOS TV. FiOS TV currently is available in Massapequa Park, Long Island, and will expand to other Long Island communities where we have video franchises. It will take a month or so for us to add QTN to the program lineup.

Dear Sharon,

Congrats on the deal with QTN. I live on Long Island and was wondering if this recent carriage deal with QTN is for nation wide carriage through verizon? Will QTN be added to every market automatically as verizon expands? Thank you and any more information about the details
of this carriage deal would be great.

Just for info purposes on FiOS, for those who don't know. this is from an press release regarding verizon in Fla.

http://newscenter.verizon.com/proactive/newsroom/release.vtml?id=93231&PROACTIVE_ID=cecdc7cacec6cdceccc5cecfcfcfc5cecdcfcdcfcfcaccc6ccc5cf

FiOS TV is designed to be a formidable competitor to cable and satellite. It is delivered over Verizon's fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network, which has industry-leading quality and reliability. Fiber delivers amazingly sharp pictures and sound, and has the capacity to transmit a wide array of high-definition programming that is so clear and intense it seems to leap from the TV screen. It also delivers Internet download speeds of up to 30 Mbps (megabits per second) and upload speeds of up to 5 Mbps as well as high-quality voice services.

Verizon's network design includes backup facilities not common to traditional cable systems, such as duplicate "super head ends" where the TV service receives national programming.

Service highlights include:

A broad collection of all-digital programming and compelling consumer choice - with more than 390 total channels and more on the way.

A lead offer with more than 180 digital video and music channels, for $34.95 a month with Verizon FiOS Internet Service or a qualifying voice product.

More than 20 high-definition channels, with extraordinary clarity and theater-quality sound.

More than 1,800 video-on-demand titles available to customers now, increasing to 2,000 titles in the next several months.

Although, with Verizon availbe to 6M homes, this is the biggest launch in Q's history.

Very good to see the carriage expand. Great news.

And just to put it in light, i think our current carriage puts us in like 5M-10M homes. Well Verizon is in 6M houses alone.

(No im not a flipflopper, but yes i am hoping that all this great news rumored is starting to be released.)

Bring on the DISH news

Actually, BigRod may have been calling this one for years!

Don't know about imak, but Verizon has mentioned Q on their website several times, and Frank hinted that he was in discussion with a wireless carrier in '04, I think.

Wish I had bought some Verizon stock!

Yahoo shows no high for the day:

Day's Range: 0.0001 - N/A

Maybe all this mess is due to counters rolling over.

This was in the cc if memory serves me correctly.

Everyone was pretty stoked when this was said at the cc. Looks like this has come to fruition. Different media. I called the contact from the pr and asked if Verizon would do this in ATL. She said only were they have the fiber so ATL is not a Verizon account.

bigrod.. my streamer reset just after 5 bil(don't have the exact # when it reset)so i just added the total after it reset to the 5 bil.

here's what i had.
3,786,297,767... final
reset at 5,000,000,000+... during AH
3,591,330,471...after reset from 5 bil+

so my best guess is 8,591,330,471

A/H trades were 4.061 Billion - groups of 117,000,000 and 108,000,000. Add that to the 3.591 B during the day and we've got 7.652 B.

--------------------
Just the facts, ma'am.
