Hey DA it's not advice. Just my take. Know the difference.
R/S ain't always bad. I went through it with HEC which I still hold a few thousand free shares.
Ain't no rookie neither. Been doin' this for a while. It's ALL I do now.
...and it's "you know what you're (as in you are) talking about" not your.
It's also "their" (showing possession) NOT there.
LMAO .

When a PPS is this low bad rumors start. This is called the "shake out" and is , of course designed to shake loose shares. This pretty much confirms what I stated earlier that "powers that be" induced this GREAT VOLUME at LOW PRICES. It's not because the company needs money. It's because it's TIME for action by "powers that be" to TAKE CONTROL or rather POSSESSION. This is done by dumping seemingly worthless shares onto the market and then buying those up at basement prices thuis gaining a larger percentage of share ownership.
Once this is complete then a "never will happen" R/S will bring PPS valuation.
Remember (and forget the price) if there is EVER a R/S he who owns 70% of the shares before the split then still owns 70% after the split. The MAIN THING is to get control and that is done by increasing the A/S, hence O/S and buy them up.
There are those that will dump their share. That is the purpose of "BAD RUMORS".
Now the flip side. If the "BAD RUMORS" of which we will likely be hearing more are true what difference should that have on where YOU sell?
The answer is none because your shares are virtually worthless at this juncture. So why sell?
There is no reason today because we have 11 months before any tax loss is needed.
Info: I am holding a worhtless stock simply waiting for the proper year to use it on taxes.
Hold tight. No need to sell at zero.
Nextweek. I am sorry if you are a rookie investor in the market, so just take this as advice.
You said two basic things in your post, both are so far from the truth i dont think its safe for you to be trading or giving trading advice. And this is what i dont like, when other rookie investors get told thing by people that dont know much or are lieing and they follow their advice.
#1. You said that this is all probably just a "shake out". A shake out. Are you kidding me. We are talking about a stock that has gone from a OS of about 20B to a range of 60-99B in a matter of months, and your saying SHAKE OUT. The MM have sooooooo many shares in their inventories that they are using the certificates to wipe their ass. Do you understand this or are you just liening? MM do shake out shares quite frequently, usuall meant to shake rookie investors loose of their shares during a runup. Not when a company has quadrupled their OS and has gone down for a year straight.
#2. You said that and i quote "Once this is complete then a "never will happen" R/S will bring PPS valuation." ----please nextweek for the benefit of ALL the investors on this board do not give trading advice. This comment from you could loose many rookie investors THOUSANDS of hard earned dollars. You are obviously just lieing because EVERYONE knows that a RS from a company that is trading at .0001 and has increased their OS by 4x is 99.9% of the time going to be bad.
NO, when he RS it, hes going to make it sound good, but why else is somebody going to reverse split at .0001. BECUAUSE THEY HAVE reached the end of their possible dilution.
The difference between me and you is that i care about the other investors on this board. I could easily just let this slide, as it would be easier for me to sell my shares at the top once he RS, but im helpin out the others who would think you know what your talking about.
DONT LET ANYONE EVER TELL YOU that a RS is a good thing for a stock trading at .0001. GTEL did it to get on an exchange and i think, if memory serves me correct, they are finally back up again. IGTN RS and the stock tanked cleaning out all investors.
If QBID RS at .0001, that is the time to get the lawsuits ready and call the SEC. The nail will be in the coffin.

Now gimmie comcast, gimmie dish...for the love of God, give me numbers!!!
I wasn't the originator of the Verizon idea, but when TW buys out Q I will take credit for being the first person to call that one.

quote:Originally posted by Jennifercd10: It seems that Frank/Q are playing their cards close to their vest. No PR’s, they escort investors out, no notes to investors and not even anything about Sundance. A total public blackout! Is this what you would do if you were buying back a lot of shares?
Frank produced a DVD for investors. Some call it a bone; it depends upon how you look at it. Imak, Doc and DJ have all given us information that TMM/QTN is strong in spite of the pps. Maybe it was Frank’s way of telling us that all is well; just stay with me a little longer. Maybe, just maybe, Frank knew this low pps would happen and this was his way of trying to help us thru these difficult times. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what the above people are saying directly and indirectly.
IMO, Frank is an opportunist and doesn’t mind going into the legal gray areas. If he has a creditable audit would he publish it and drive the pps up if he is buying back? If QTN has “several hundred million” in value of which 30% can be borrowed against, maybe sly Frank has been buying with borrowed funds. Having many millions at his fingertips, Frank would be able to easily continue building Q and fund a large buy back. If you were Frank, would you tell the world? Before you say it, YES… you and I would have handled the shareholders differently. But, were not in that space. Why dilute when it is so much easier to borrow it?
Read the Q’s and A’s above. DJ, Doc and Imak have no reason to lie. They have no agendas. We are our own worst enemies when we buy into fear. Life is not without some measure of trust. Trust whom you want. I trust Imak, Doc and DJ. If Doc said don’t put your finger into the electric outlet, I trust him. Regrettably, there are those who must try it for themselves. If Doc says that he may/is adding to his position, that tells you something. If Imak says that he has added (even in the past few days!), that tells you more. Even DavidJanas being out at Q can confirm the hubbub and beehive of activity of the expanding workforce at Q. Weather you believe some or all of what DJ says, he has been confirmed on some of what he has said.
Good post Jen. You are one of the most levelheaded people I have had the pleasure of knowing.

REMINDER TO ALL: Be especially wary of anyone who constantly boasts what a smart investor he is. Anyone who has to keep telling others how smart he is usually has low self-esteem ... or is in self-denial.
LMAO ... or whatever.
