Is it because of geriatic care in the home you are more protected because of medicare out patient rules and regs?
Going into their homes sure makes a lot more sense than making them come to the office or Hospital, in certain cases.
As you know, I know the time restraints on Doctors can leave little time for some Doctors to spend with family, I sincerly hope you have mastered that problem.

Just an after thought. Doc as a USCG licensed 100 ton Captain, I spent way to much time at Sea away from family..I think my daughter suffered because of it..
When ever a boat would go down, it scared the hell at of her..
Especialy when I was Off Shore Tuna fishing or Salmon fishing for days.

Dustoff: 65% of my practice is visiting Long Term Care Facilities, & Residential Care Facilities and the remainding (35%) is actual visits to geriatric patients in their own homes.
My biggest problem with time management is that I enjoy hearing the stories of the old days, war stories and family history. I often loose track of time, but I would not trade my patients for the world.
Those who have built this country are often the one's who are forgotten and neglecetd. It's a shame.

Side Bar off topic: Doctoall, you just reminded me to get off my butt and go visit my 92 year old Mother and Father..They currently have a large room to themselves in a Adult Foster care, assisted living care home, it's in a small farm like setting. Peacocks, llamas, trout pond with swans and ducks.
They reguire 24 hr care..And it is very exspensive.
It can be Heart wrenching at times.. I can remember them when they were young and we lived on a farm, how this happened to them is one of lifes challanges..My Mothers mind is gone.
What remains of her mind is minimal at best.. My father stays with her out of love..
Once in awhile we get a smile from her that can light up the room!

One other point to show on this commnet of yours. The people who are panicing are also listening to those who constantly bash this stock and posting false or partial info. G-invest is a good example. Although he is entitled to post his oppinion, he makes false quotes, twists them and then goes on a rampage to make everyone believe everything he says by way of bullying.Hefty style but common practice.

Cencorship? Not by any means. In fact the only thing that has been cleaned up here is the garbage. This is a discussion board. Negative and positive posts are discussed. Attitude, mouth pieces and deception by lies is what is what was and still being cleaned up. There is a huge difference. No one on this board has control of kicking someone off so I guess Bob Frey got ticked enough at some abnoxous boobs to remove them. The funny kicker is, they wine about it when hoofed.
