FTA 'Queer Channel' plans launch in 2006 Saturday, December 10 2005, 15:02 GMT -- by Neil Wilkes
A new gay entertainment channel is planning to launch towards the end of next year, Broadcast reports this week.
'The Queer Channel' - brainchild of ex-ITN creative director Colin Fallesen - intends to launch as a free-to-air station by October 27, 2006. Fallesen is already "in discussions" with Sky and VOD operator HomeChoice over carriage on their respective services.
Content will comprise roughly 60% acquisitions, mostly from US gay channels Q Television and Here TV. Movies sourced from gay and lesbian film festivals will also feature, while planned original content includes Positive Living, a show for people with HIV, and Culture Vulture, a series profiling gay artists.
Fallesen told the mag that he had assembled £12 million of the £20 million The Queer Channel needs to launch, adding that Q Television had "expressed interest" in taking a 50% stake in the venture.
The news comes just two months after a proposed gay channel called Faze TV scrapped its launch plans after failing to secure a carriage agreement with Sky.

“I’m pleased that we were able to work the issues out prior to spending a lot of funds on both sides to litigate this contract. Now that a relative peace has been reached between the parties, we can all return to normal operations,” said Simpson.
Admitting to sparing litigation funds sounds li ke he settled for less than most probably guessed.

so this is getting interesting again we traded with huge volume today and we had a couple qbidians report being filled at .0002.
i am getting very tempted to buy in again but at the same time i would much rather buy in at .0001 than .0002. i know that sounds greedy and i truly hope we dont start heading south but i am really skeptical and cuatious to buy in again after what franky has put us all through.
i guess if we all still beleive in this company and that it truly will succeed one day than we should be bidding this up and keeping the q shares in strong hands.
what the heck im putting an order in for a couple mil at .0002 !
i hope all of you have a wonderful new years eve and an even better more prosperous happy joyous spontaneous eventful rockin new year.
22 million long and strong
sincerely your qbidiot.

I remember seeing that news that Hoss brought up back when it came out...but only now is there some noise about it... hmmm, it all doesn't matter unless QBID starts reporting... or QBID announces that they've purchased Microsoft or Google...

We decided to send another round of letters to the management at "Q", just to keep the pot boiling.
As you all know Imakmony has the first set of letters out, and there is in the works a meeting for Jan 05th 2006.
Just to make sure that nothing gets missed we have sent another set of letters to: Frank Olson, Rene Schenk, Scott Withers, Randy Vahan, and Egan Ellerige.
The letters were received (signed for) at the "Q" offices in Burbank today and now we wait for the pot to boil a little bit more. We will continue to put pressure on them until this thing blows a lid.
Once again thanks to Imakmony for the initial round of letters and to FOT for providing the format letter from WA State.

David: It makes no difference if they put the audit out tonight, we are going through with the requested meeting so that we can verify what information is being put out. We are no longer wishing to be treated like mushrooms, "keep em in the dark and feed em chit". Now seeing is believing. We are not cancelling any requested meetings no matter what they come out with

Classic BS. You need to read what he was saying. Which is that he "said" he was going to buy some in front of you, in reality people don't share stuff like that. Also, he never said he was told to buy stock, and even if he was, that's usually a sign that management doesn't know what to do so they tell people to buy to increase morale.

Well, I would like to have a positive outlook for QBID next year. With 100B shares OS, it is hard. To think that I could double my total QBID shares for $1000 if it went to .0001 doesn't make me feel good. But I might do it. I mean what is another $1k when I am already down about $11k. I do think that QBID will make it, but it may not be with the current shareholders (us). I wont cry if I lose all in QBID (already expect to.)
I am a New Years baby and just may be QBID will give me a great present by going back to .001 in 2006 so I can at least break even in one of my accounts.
QBID has made me BiPolar... want to be Happy but being Depressed with QBID is the norm.
Happy New Years to all!
