in that case MT i think we'd hear a lot of the same questions and a lot of the same answers, albeit more specific, as the last conference call.
which really answered nothing.
unless we have audit results.

that's how i interpret anyway.
i'll be shocked if there's a shareholders meeting. it would be completely unfair to do it off-the-cuff with no planning.
an open house he can pull together on the drop of a hat- just line up 200 chairs. a proper shareholders meeting would be a disaster imo.
glad you plan to attend for us Doc!!

yeah BB, thats what i mean...just a meeting in type...that is still sort of a shareholders meeting, but people are still saying it is not going to happen...just letting people know that it would be disasterous if there wasnt a meeting...whether it be in type or in person..

You've mentioned this before and I agree they are two separate events. One "online" and the other at the studio. The confusion came from stating shareholders could go to the open house (of course they can, everyone is invited to an open house).

Since the 19.5B shares only equals 47% ownership, we do not have to be represented equally/fairly. The majority of shareholders, aka Frank, will be in attendance.

Here's an example of how I'd like to see the Q announce these things:

the confusion came from the original PR (July 29th) that Frank stated there would be a shareholders meeting at the studio, simulcast to hotels via video.
We will be doing a shareholders’ meeting which we hope to schedule in late summer or early fall. We are aiming to make the meeting interactive so it is viewable from certain hotels in subscriber areas. I will be doing the meeting from the studio in Burbank where there will be room for an audience of 200 people. Shareholders will be able to ask questions through an 800 number and through email. Every question that pertains to QTN will be answered. If you tune in late, you can request a video copy to be sent to you. I am excited to offer our shareholders an opportunity to talk to me directly during this call. Please send an email to Rich Brown (staff*equityrelations.com) if you are interested in participating in the meeting and/or with questions you have.
then then 200 seats became an "open house" in the subsequent PR and the shareholders meeting was "in type".

4Art, I agree with you 100%. That announcement embodies the assurance from a business that is rock solid and beholden to investors, at least on the outside. Let's hope we get there someday. Let's all start a a fund to send Frank to the Wharton Business School.

Doc, don't take this personally. I'm not pointing a finger at you about anything. The truth is that phone number for Milo is useless from a shareholder point of view. He can tell me about a party, but thats it. When I asked him anything else he stammers and stutters and stuff. He knows absolutely nothing about a shareholder meeting. He doesn't even own any shares either. I just don't like to be told stuff that isn't happening. I'm glad that you are going to be there asking questions. I have to take it where I can get it. If I wanted to push going to the party my self I would have, but I just got back from California, and I'm in Iowea. You don't have some kind of clout that I don't know about, that you feel guilty for do you. Use your own discretion about what to do in the future my friend. Its none of our fault if one person gets an email reply and another don't. Or gets through on the phone and another don't. End of story. Like I said before. Go for it. I'm just blowing off steam. Maybe there is a meeting, but I'm still guessing.

Guys here is a question for all of you. How proper is it to repeat in a chat forum any information that is given to you through a company employee? Quoting what they said and did not say?

Doctoall unless the employee says do not repeat this i think it is quite proper , one should just try and be accurately stating what was said and by whom thats just my .0000 cents worth.

Once an employee tells a non-employee it becomes public information.
And chat forums are to share public information.
Mind you, it is all rumor unless you can verify the employee's credentials...
And we like rumors here Doc
why, u got a rumor?

....that's the spirit Doc.
Overall I think it would be fair to say that the outlook and attitude of the majority of us loyal and faithful Qbidians on this thread, including those who wish to remain anonymous, in my opinion...remains unsurprisingly upbeat.
And as for all you bashers who continue your negative agenda’s and mock our unwavering stand upon our strong belief in the coming of Q's triumph and success, we, as a family, say this...we are loyal to Q!. And we will not despair. Not while the spirit is enthusiastically expressed by enough Qbidian’s to make all bashers on this thread reluctant to break it, however much they would like to.

We are making strides. There is proof out there from sources other than Q itself.
I have been very busy as of late and have a hard time keeping up but I do skim from time to time and the attitude really has sunk around here. I think people are reading too much into things and worrying too much about nothing.
Anyone that has ever built a business knows that none of this happens overnight, some times it is years, and in some cases decades before the entity becomes what was invisioned from the start.
Q is doing well. I sure see a whole lot more coverage on it than I do Logo or Here! anymore. Of course, that may be biased vision, but I do not think so.
Sure, Frank may be a little wishy washy, I will agree with that easily, but can you imagine the pressure he is under right now? It has to be huge. All eyes are on him and every move will be scrutinized and analyzed to death.
As much as I see "I mailed Richard today and he didnt answer me" it makes me wonder how anyone expects anything to get done. I know Richard was hired to handle IR issues but I am quite certain he had no idea what he was in for and there is no way one person can keep up with it all. I would be shocked if we were his only account and we mass mail the poor guy. I get somewhere around 200 emails a day between various things I am involved with and with work and I cant read them all and expect to get anything done.
Poor Richard probably gets 500 emails if Frank forgets to flush.
Whizknock's checklist is what keeps me here and the fact that I believe this is a hugely untapped market and the potential is astronomical. Will it be Q (and therefore by default us) that is the final victor? Don't know. No one does at this point, but I was willing to bet everything I could on Q over the others and now, for me, its just time to relax and let the cards fall where they may.
With any luck, those patiently waiting it out will have the right cards in the end.

I just hope it lives up to what we see & I hope that anything I wrote does NOT do you harm. I for one am a believer in exactly the way you explain your approach to this investment.

Most of you know what I do for a living and over the years I have become a good judge of character and usually know if I am getting correct answers.I focus on the non-verbal aspect of the conversation.
I just want the opportunity to look Frank in the eyes and ask him the question. Should I remain faithful to the "Q" and will the "Q" be faithful to me. In other words, am I going to be happy that I continued to hold stock in this company?
IMHO I still think that we will get a good PR before 10/11/05 and I hope that we do

Let me say this....i began as a trader of Q, and honestly, still sort of am....but......
IF, Q signs on more carriers or even gets 1 NATIONAL deal, or gets 100K subs, then i will load up 25% of my trading portfolio and set my sell order for .20...Call me crazy, but truely believe it can hit that if we get the carriers...not the audit, the audit will come in time, but we need the carriers first....

Way to go Doc, my impression of you just from reading your posts for ten months is: you are a nice guy with a fine sense of humour but you aren't one to get bullied, pushed around, or B.S.'ed to. I have confidence in you that you will look Frank in the eye and ask "the question". Thank you in advance for going to Burbank and seeing for yourself what's happening there with the Q. I too am thinking we will get a good pr before 10/11. Go Q and GO DOC!!!
