She just laughed and then began to tell me how thrilled she was to have Q. She said she is absolutely positive about Q and really likes Frank. She said Q is a huge buzz.

She said Frank was a smart business man and that both her and Frank was well on their way on taking QTN to Hollywood. She said Q will make it and that it was just a matter of time.

She said that her office is 20 minutes away from the studio and that she has been going there twice a week. She said that Frank is really doing a great job and has been really busy with new carriers (that is plural).

She said Priority is currently getting involved with the LA community for input and is excited about all the marketing information that they have and are continuing to gather.

I could tell she was smiling all the while we were talking, she kept chuckling, she was open with everything I mentioned though I didn't ask detailed information because she's probably only going to know the marketing side of it.

Well thats about it, I thought she might have been busy so I cut it real short. Bottom line here you guys...she is really really Q'd up about what Frank has in store. I told her that I needed something to post on this board and she said to tell everyone that Q was gonna do great. [Wink]

hey thanks for takin the time out to call..i never even thought of it....good to see people so excited about Q....

on another note, looks like the subsprction price in NY is gonna be 12.95...pretty high, but they say the cost of living is higher in NY to begin with...

Also let me throw this out..past couple of days i have been figuring how many subscribers we are looking for to break even every month...

Im thinking that if the burn rate was 1.5-2M a couple months ago..the costs have probably gone up with all the new shows and cast, but also include the production cost decrease and NTI satillete uplink...I say that the current burn rate is probably around 1.75M each month...

(and this is all pure guesses)

But, with that said what number of subscribers are we looking for to break even everymonth? What does everyone think?

just a guess, but at a $2mill burn rate per month, $2mill / $12.95 = 154440.154440++ subscribers, plus any other income [Wink] Not unreasonable at all....but I would think to have that many subscribers, the sat companies need to make it available, and the audit needs to be released so we can see what is really going on....JMHO....

Just an FYI....I was an executive with a start up in the late nineties....audits from investors were common, and don't take long....a dirty shell however, as I've stated before, would take longer, to produce all pre-existing documentation.....but, having said that, the audit numbers for Q, I would say, have been known since June.....IMHO, they're buying time for correction, until they release it publicly....GL.....

Does it really take 3 years for water to boil (lol).
I guess if you say something enough times, you start believing it. Just like you all think this stock is going up. I bet you are thinking someday you will be rich off it too, right?
Give Frank more money (hahaha)!

dont forget the carriers take away 50% of the subs $$, so you have to double the sub-ers.

I spent a little more than a month offline due to a little storm and water and what do I see when I get back?
QBID has done just as I predicted.
Look out below.
Congratulations gang... all of you screaming buy at .0014 have lost almost half of your money.
This was a crappy stock at .002, at .0014 and now at .0009.

MT,

I pay $103 per month for my Time Warner cable package (and it is not HD,, just basic digital)

plus 3.95 per ppv movie (figure I get at least 4 per month)...

that's $114.85 per month. and im not even on the premium plan.

I don't think by NYC standards that $12.95 per month (43 cents per day) would break the bank...

--> a 1 bedroom apartment costs minimum $2500/month (say 600 sq ft)

--> a venti starbux runs me $5.30 per cup

--> a one-way ride on the subway $2. Getting back the other way, $2.

--> bus, $2. each trip

--> taxi downtown to uptown, $25 one way.

--> drink in a club $15

--> beer at yankee stadium $9

--> hamburger at DB Bistro restaurant $50

just puttin it in perspective. [Eek!]

What did HBO cost per month when it came out?
Whatever it was I remember people saying it would fail because "Who would pay $??.?? a month for that crap"
It is entirely feesible for Q to charge twelve bux a month... their target audience is quite wealthy... on the whole.
Maybe when more people subscribe Frank will stop selling shares.
Oh by the way.
Did the audit ever come out?

Good analogy....the last PR about the audit said 60 days, which was 40+ days from now....see the Q website for details....

IMO the audit has been done for some time now (June is a good guess). If not, why would TW and Cox sign on with Q. Well established companies like that would require solid financial information, among other things, before they entered into a contract that would effect their programming.

There are those of us who feel that the audit has been done for some time, just waiting for the right time. There is no way that companies like TW and Cox going to sign on with broke network. Frank has said this in tha past that carriers want a financial committment.

IMO more great things to come this week [Big Grin]

I will be in touch with Kristien again next week via email. I would like to ask her a couple of choice questions gathered from asking board members. So are there any questions anyone would like to have answered if at all possible.

Thought it might be interesting to find out if she is willing to answer more questions pertaining to ongoing public relations and/or marketing matters that we may want to know about..

I'd rather keep the contacts brief so as not to use a lot of her time. Would prefer not to jeopardize a possible long term corresponding relationship. Or atleast until Q gets rolling. [Wink]

Don't you think that what you are saying in the quote above would be considered insider trading and would get Frank into big trouble?

He can't sell his preferred stock anyway. Are you taking about flipping shares to benefit QBID? I'm sure there is something here that I just don't understand.

imo, this is a no brainer. pinksheet company pays expenses by issuing shares. so why not sell high and buy back low just like other traders. read BB's post a few pages back, it made sense. the question here is that if the company has the money to buy back at the lower price - or they just burn the money right after they sell it.
btw, MillerTime and Bigrod, I take both Texas and Seatle, and hope both of you win.
Re Texas, i think Terry is living there, isnt he!

HERE'S MY PREVIOUS POST THAT TQN IS REFERRING TO.
----------------------------------

posted September 28, 2005 13:42
by betting babe

...it is called ethics, and we need to hope that frank has some.

frank implored his shareholders to buy & hold. he said longs would be rewarded. he has a responsibility to deliver on that promise.

now, conspiracy theory #101...

stock runs up from .0001 to .028. Q gets lots of attention, uses the momentum & exposure to get all us tv watchers to request Qtv from cable carriers. in effect, the attention builds the network, not the funds from the sale of the stock.

so, dilute the o/s while the pps is still nice and high, make an extra couple hundred mil for the company that will allow it to expand/acquire as needed to build equity.

run the price down to the ground, knowing that as soon as it hits .0005 yo're gonna buy back all htose shares you used to dilute at a fraction of what you were paid for them.

release audit/pr that states that the company is worth a bazillion bux and by the way, we bought back all those shares we put out there... plus we have all that extra money we made through the dilution, and all these new additional assets..
and shorts,ya better cover ur patooties..

it would be beautiful chaos.

thereby rewarding all longs when the chit hits the fan and it skyrockets!!!

...it could happen [Wink]

Sometimes I don't see the obvious.

Thanks.
